Ms.Markay was very helpful and explained everything it great detail. Customer service is on point . I’m kind of worried now seeing the reviews about rats and pests. So I will be checking in on my unit once a week and see what’s going on ! I will update this review if I see anything regarding pests. I hope I don’t have to though because this place is very convenient and I love the APP. Thanks Ms Markay!!

I was greeted by two young woman a few days ago to look at a space—Both of the women were very helpful and gave me a lot of information about public storage. I did not rent because I am out of town however once I return I will definitely go back to them! Fanshawn and Nyah were very nice and maintained a friendly yet informative conversation.

Nya at the jclyde location was very helpful and patient
They have RATS damaging your property it’s disgusting in the units and they make up fake rules that are not real and sneak and increase rent and overcharge. Like why should I have to go out and purchase all new appliances and dishes because it’s rats in there I literally seen them with my eyes run across the metal beam and droppings all over everything this is sick a step from the cockroach problem they have and pest control is always out and it’s literally next to a pest control facility.

Our unit was clean and easy to access and the property looks great which was important to us when store our things we can tell this property is really taken care of. I highly recommend this location.

The best experiences dealing with a storage company in my 16-year naval career! I have had to use several storage companies over the years. I will be a repeat customer to this particular Public Storage! The lady (i think her name was Markay) who assisted me was awesome, very polite, and knowledgeable! Definitely need more people like her running your business!
I was ready to give this location a glowing positive review, as their customer service has been great - HOWEVER as we are moving out today, we discovered multiple rats nests, thousands of rat droppings & urine literally covering the entire unit from top to bottom. The attached photos are just a small glimpse into the damage. I am not at all exaggerating when I say TOP TO BOTTOM. The young lady at the front desk said it was the worst infestation she had ever seen. We had a five bedroom house in a unit here, with almost all of our furniture and personal belongings now destroyed. There is at least $10,000 worth of damage. Half of the boxes were chewed through by rats. There are rat droppings & urine literally covering every single item in the storage unit, both inside & out. The droppings are behind picture frames, inside the appliances, on top of and inside every single box…rat urine covering all of the furniture. Just absolutely revolting and vile. PLEASE shut this place down and do a thorough pest control before allowing people to store their personal belongings and lifelong, irreplaceable memorabilia here. Very, very sad and disgusted by this. We were only here for just over a month. On top of an already stressful PCS military move across the country, this had just made things 100x worse for us. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY should have to go through this. EVER. I do want to thank MarKay and Jessica for their assistance and customer service though…they are fantastic employees and represent this company very well.

Employees are great, always helpful. But OMG the fees just go up and up and up. Rent on my unit just went up $58/month and I've only had it 6 months. Never, ever anything added to service or benefits with the rate increases.

I loved the experience I had with this location! Jaz gave me all the details I needed before needing to take the steps to sign the lease/contract. She was also very understanding of me needing to compare prices with other storage places as well, so I could get the best price for my money and time as I was moving from over 11 hours away. I would have hoped to have consistent quotes between online, the call center, and in-person since some people aren't able to get the in-person promotions. However, I understand why that may be the way it is and my overall experience here made that such a small thing in the back of my mind.

Rented an uncontrolled climate 25x10 for 6 month late Winter to early Autumn. Despite the outside humidity everything was Ok. Only problem is how close together the buildings are makes it difficult to to turn a larger truck.

The quadruple your payment in a year's time if you let them. Make sure you complain every time the payment goes up because it'll go up 25% or more without a proper notice.

I booked two storage units for company use at this location. Markay spoke to my colleague and remembered the last time we utilized their storage units. She was aware of the type of items we wanted to store along with wanting to store a forklift inside.
She said the two storage units I initially reserved will probably not be tall enough and there were no longer any available parking spots for the foreseeable future.
I asked if she knew of any other nearby Public Storage locations that would meet our requirements. She took it upon herself to reach out to nearby storage units and asked on my behalf for specific dimensions of the storage units. She found a 12'x30' unit nearby and even went out to that location to measure the height of the storage unit during increment weather. She also gave me a name at the new location to call tomorrow to make sure that the location will be acceptable with a large flat bed unloading on the street.
Her level of detail is unmatched and her level of care for the customer is unparalleled to any I have experienced in a while. She genuinely cares for the customer and wants to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible for the location and customer.
