Raised rent $50 after 6 months; raised rent ANOTHER $50 after 12 months. 1 of 2 elevators was "broken" for 7 months. Staff was arrogant and told me that "they" didn't raise my rent - corp hq raised it. They “reminded” me the contract allows rate “changes” every 6 months. I asked if I should expect them to increase rent every 6 months and they replied with Yes. Time to leave and find another more reasonable company.
Thanks to Alonzo great customer service skills, today he helped me to adjust my monthly payments to a lower rate, we are living during tough economical times and our dollar is not stretching no more, when I asked Public Storage to lower my monthly payments, Alonzo was there, for me to walk me through the process, what a beautiful day is today in a cloudy raining freezing day at Tysons Public Storage, VA!! ... Thanks for helping this war veteran, Airborne Ranger, All the way!!...Whoa!

Rashid is a miracle worker. He is so kind, compassionate, helpful and frankly, if it wasn’t for him, much of my ex husband’s belongings were going to be donated to a charity shop because of the limited storage I have as I’ve downsized my home.
My former spouse rented a unit online and when I arrived with the moving truck, we realized the unit was actually a “locker” that required us to use a ladder. Suffice it to say,
I couldn’t lift the boxes up the ladders let alone the bikes and golf clubs, etc.
I spoke with a staff member via telephone who wasn’t able to help us. I returned to the storage unit to discuss our options in person and met Rashid who had a solution before we could even present the entire problem. What an incredibly humane person. In order to secure the other locker, we needed to pay $1.00 and as I took out my ATM card, Rashid beat me to it and took a dollar from his own pocket.
A heartfelt thanks from both of us for your generosity, professionalism, and more importantly, your decency which has evaded our society recently. Thank you Sir.

I drove out to the facility at 1510 Spring Hill rd. in McLean, VA because the person who responded to my call on the 800 number could not satisfactorily answer my questions. At the McLean facility, Alonzo answered all of my question is a polite and professional manner. It was worth the trip.
I have had a unit here for almost 6 years, starting with a 5x10, then moving up to a 10x10, and finally a 10x15. I wanted and needed to downsize, so I reserved a transfer online when they were running a special on that unit size.
Alonzo was great! He was professional, friendly, and patient. He was incredibly helpful in finding me exactly what I needed: a unit in the same building on the same floor, which made my move a lot easier

Obviously being neglected. Half the elevators are out and have been for months, leaving only 1 per building. There are also only two carts in the entire place (again one per building) so you better bring your own. On the plus side it seems clean with no signs of bugs.

This place has top notch customer service!! Today, I couldn't open my storage door. It wouldn't go up. When I shared this with the front desk gentlemen, he immediately jumped up to check it out. Turned out my stuff fell & got caught in the door roller (my fault on how my movers packed the space). Without prompting or asking, he stayed & helped get it unstuck & even grabbed another gent to help move things around so it wouldn't happen again. He was so polite & helpful! What he didn't know is that I've had major neck & brain surgery & couldn't fix this myself if I tried but this isn't obvious to the average person. He just helped without question or hesitation. Seriously, customer service like this is rare. It's tough to find great folks in this economy/pandemic times but this place is doing something right here because both times I've stopped in the office, on 2 different occasions, it's been great service. On top of that, the rates are competitive. This is the kind of place we all want to do business with!

I was hesitant about getting a bigger unit here. They’ve definitely been making quite a few improvements, though (thread plating corners/walls, new gate, paint, security cameras). After a lot reconsideration, I figure I’d look into the upgrade. I kept rescheduling my reservation but they were able to honor the pricing past the date. The process was way easier than I had expected. The office personnel (I think her name was Allison) was very professional and was quick to answer my inquiries. Originally, I felt they kept getting more and more expensive but shopping around, their pricing is pretty much the same with a lot of the area. So far, I feel I’ve made a wise decision. I’m grateful this transition has been smooth. I hope you guys get more dollies to replace the ones that are going bad soon.
