This is the WORST STORAGE IN HISTORY. The unit was dirty and dusty as heck. No cleaning and no preparation except trying to charge $23.00 for a lock. And try to charge extra money on top. I have a bad electric bulb in my unit and they refuse to fix it. Stating they don’t service the units only the hallway. 1 week after moving into the unit I had to make a complaint to HR about the property manager. This is a tremendously Terrible situation and they dont have the respect for the tenant and I’ll be moving OUT after 2 months. I HATE THIS PLACE . Don’t go there. They have ocean storage that’s clean have good electrical connections and also other places.

As much as I like their convenience and storing my stuff here. The number one thing that really really gets to me is that there is no email address to contact them. You HAVE to sit on the phone with them via calling or messaging. Very very frustrating and inconvenient.
Update, was called pretty quickly after this review, I just didn't get to update it. They addressed my concerns, but still not 5 stars because you HAVE to call them, no messaging or emails.

This has been the worst experience ever w talking and dealing w the people who answer phones. We made a reservation, received email and told to continue registration. Tried multiple times on phone to complete, and it wouldn't. Was then told to just use the kios. Got to kios, and it wouldn't take the reservation # or phone number. The virtual person on kios couldn't do either, so she did as a new reservation WITHOUT THE ONLINE DISCOUNT and said it would take about 5 days to receive the credit. I called the next day. Even though I was assured it was taken care of. NOT! They will not credit the card, they only credit account. This was not my error! This is how they get and keep your money. Never again!!!! Don't believe what you are told on phone. We were lied to by multiple people.

I’ve been here since 2019. I have had a late payment every month. I have spent plenty money in this business. It is useless since Tina or anyone is no longer physically present on the property. Every time you need a person, you are given a 72 hour window and you have been available when their employee is available to meet. It’s typically only 30 minute window after they call. It used to be one of the best facilities in the area. All they do is raise the price and lower the service.
Michelle was the only person out of 4 representatives that provided 5 star service!

The folks at public storage in Western Branch are awesome. They got me a unit within 15 minutes. And not more than 10 minutes I accidentally broke the key off in the lock. The gentleman who works there went above and beyond to get it out and get the lock back working. Just all around friendly . They were so helpful in a time of need

My experience with public storage service on gum rd in Chesapeake was pleasant.
This is the worst company to do business with. Raised rates 40% in one year. California owner says their rent is market rate. Found competitor around the corner for less than half the monthly rent. Units are not secure due to broken security gate. After being a business customer for 20 years they will lock you out of your unit if you are late on rent. Even if your payment check has been mailed but they have not received it yet. Do not rent here!

I absolutely love this facility. Tina always handle any issues or concerns I have quickly. The grounds are kept really clean, most importantly I haven’t seen any rodents which is good! I’ve been renting my unit for 2yrs and haven’t been disappointed with the upkeep, Tina is the best :)

I stored items at Public Storage for approximately 5 months. Customer service at this facility I used was excellent. Tina, the site manger, was exceptional. She is very professional, customer friendly, and very knowledgeable. In my opinion, she is a key asset to the company. Please be advise however, I found Public Storage competitively to be rather pricey!
