Came in right at closing on a Thursday - the time when everyone is just trying to close up shop and get home. I had already booked a unit but needed to transfer to a larger unit. Have a dead mouse in my storage and now they want to raise my rent by almost 33 percent, only been there since June. Haven't fixed the rubber seal to the door which has opening, probably how the mouse got in there, I requested this when I got there in June.
We paid October rent in full but moved out two days later. When asked about a credit we were informed that they do not prorate!!! I was on hold for over 15 minutes to speak with someone.
However, since we checked out they have the right to rent to another person. This is just BAD BUSINESS!!!!
I gave a 1 due to location!!

Storage areas are your basic storage areas. The issue I have is out of the 3 times I've been 1-nobody on site. Sat in my car and waited for 30 min until someone showed up. 2-had a question and was told I'd need to come back when the manager is there.. .all 3 times there the manager has not been there. Bought my own lock only to get there and find out I have to buy their lock for the roll up doors.
Clean storage facility. The elevator doors close too quickly, and you have to get a key from the employee to use the bathroom. Employee off or not at desk, no bathroom. Not 24hr facility...

Renter beware! I do not know if all storage companies are alike but this one is constantly raising the rent. My rent has MORE than doubled from 2 years ago. There is no explanation or justification for the rent hike, they just email you that the rent is increasing. It is simply a money grab and they know it's a hardship for people to move out before the rent increase. Shop around before renting at Public Storage.

I had to use this units for a while. There's other public storage on Stone Rd, but the customer service is not good. That's why I rather the one on Lee Hwy.Tanya, the lady at the customer service knows her job.
