Pedro, was a great help. He explained and told me many options and details about the storage space choices available, all the sizes and costs. He informed me of the payments and when they will be due, he also told me about late fees. I am happy to know whats going on and what to expect. He also spoke to me of deals and promotions. Jacob, at Public Storage on Broadway, was very helpful. He told us the storage space options available, the costs and sizes. He informed us of the payment, when it was due, late fees. We know what to expect. He also told us of promotional deals. We were able to look at two different units and selected the one better for us

The Public Storage at 8630 Broadway doubled my rates (increased almost 40% every six months since moving in.) They have great move-in deals, but stay longer than 6 months and they turn predatory. My rate for a 10x20 space went from $132 to $183 to $260 in less than a year.
Update:
Terrific response from district manager, expressed sincere apologies for delays, asked for and received constructive feedback. Everything now taken care of to our satisfaction. That kind of responsiveness deserves acknowledgment!
The only good thing I have to say is that when I went in person and spoke to Jacod he was very nice and professional. Unfortunately everything else was a nightmare.
This was what I experience on my moving date.
* If you don't have an appointment no one is in the front office to help out with any issues.
* Elevators are the worst part.
*No designated space to load and unload.
*The code to get to the facility is send on your moving date. So you really don't know how the facility operates until is too late. You're are stuck and obligate to continue because you have invested too much time and resources.
*only 2 hand trucks in the front for the whole building.
*unable to return the lock provided. I already have a storage lock.
I know all of this would of have been prevented if there would of have been someone to assist.
I understand that the facility may have different hours and no one may be there at certain times. However when it comes to office hours someone should be visible and present, not hidden away. A local number should be provided and calls should not be routed to the customer service line, that does not helps.
Please do yourself a favor don't ignore the reviews like I did.
If it was not for Jenn my rating would be a 1. She was proficiant and attentive and knew exactly.what she was doing. I feel confident I made the best decision for my needs. Thanks Jenn!
UPDATE: I just moved out of this storage and I have to say this was a great experience. I felt safe going here at all times and PEDRO is awesome. I had called mutilple storage facilities and a ended up choosing PS in Broadway because of their professionalism so glad I did!!

Jennifer and Pedro provided excellent customer service which can be a rare find nowadays. They were patient with all questions and personal needs for the right space. There goal was to go above and beyond to make sure the customer felt good about the complete leasing experience.

Reserved a storage unit, the quick access pay link didn’t work so we had to go to the Main office, apparently this PS is by appointment only but was never stated online or in the emails or anything, so no one was there and when we finally got in contact with someone a couple HOURS later, we were told she’s at the property, the main office closes at 6, but “that doesn’t mean I will be here until then” with so much attitude.
So my husband had to drop everything and rush there to make sure she didn’t just take off, only to find AFTER paying and finally receiving our code and storage unit. It was already locked up and taken so we couldn’t even unload our U-HAUL causing us to have to pay for another day because our storage unit wasn’t accessible.
Currently attempting to get my storage space and no one is even at the front desk and the doors are locked. This place is a joke!
This property is the worst! When I moved in I was not given any kind of special that they had bc they said the unit was already discounted. Fine! Within 3 months, they raise the rent by $35 without any notice to me! Last week I gave them notice that I was going to be moving out on Dec. 2nd. I was told I would have to pay for the whole month, for 1 1/2 days which came out to about $200!! I tried to speak to the person at the office (which, surprise, surprise someone was actually there and especially since they don't ever answer the phone) but are calling you when payment is due 3 days before even if it's on automatic pay! Anyway, I tried to speak with the person there and she would not address the problem, instead kept changing the subject. Found out an hour later she had withdrawn the payment without my permission and with different changes on my address and zip code! These people don't care about the customer only interested in the money! I would never recommend this place to ANYONE!
Please note that according to the person I spoke to on the phone today your contract can change every 3 to 6 months.
They just increased my rent by adding over $50 increase per month on my lease without any notice. I have paid on time with automatic payments every single month for them to do this! They probably thought I wouldn’t notice! Do not do business with these people.
This is an unfair business practice. All military personnel take note. You have been warned.

This Public Storage is by far the best in San Antonio. Manager and staff treat you with respect by being available when they say they will be available. Very professional and no running around.
I was not happy when I went into Public Storage. I received a notification that my unit had not been paid and needed to be paid with a late fee. Thank Goodness for Monique Wilson being very patient and understanding. She was able to calm me down and let me know she may be able to waive the late fee. Good employees with great customer service are hard to find these days. She definitely needs to be recognized.

I rented a unit on line and I was put on the 2nd floor in the building with an non operating elevator. To make things worse I had hired a moving company to get this done. To say the least I was very upset. Monique handled the situation with ease and professionalism. I would like to give her 50 stars for being so helpful and caring.

Recently rented a storage unit as we have been redecorating and remodeling we have furniture we would love to keep but just can’t use at the moment… they did an amazing job working a very fair price !!! the property is always clean and easy access… I also use this for my business. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
I highly recommend the Public Storage on Broadway and 410! The staff is is always professional and friendly. I was confused and overwhelmed at the time of my visit and Monique went above and beyond and make sure I was on the right track. She even made a lollipop bouquet for my granddaughter! The facility is clean and organized. Plenty of carts available which helps a lot when you have a lot of stuff and a lot of people helping move it! The best Public Storage in all of San Antonio is at Broadway and 410!

I've been at this storage for good while and no complaints, I recently wanted to switch units to a bigger unit and Adrianna made the process incredibly easy, she said it was her first day at this location but she helped every step of the way. Great staff
It’s supposed to be climate controlled, but the ac isn’t working. I didn’t notice until I was moving out and they wouldn’t give me any discount because
my last payment had already been made. So if you have a unit with them, please go check on it!!! Make sure your stuff is okay!
Also the office staff is never there and they don’t answer their phone.
I’m torn about re editing this review. After posting my initial one star review, I received a call from the corporate office to address my concerns. Which is fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to call me back.
However, I am disappointed that it took writing a negative review for that to happen. I think public storage needs to better empower their base level customer service agents to help take care of these issues prior to someone writing a negative review. As the customer, I am now happy. But I think they need to help their employees find solutions prior to a negative review occurring.

Ms. Karina has shown exceptional qualities of courtesy, diligence, and benevolence. On the three occasions that she helped me, she was task-oriented, a quick thinker, and an intelligent problem-solver. Because her managerial skills are off the chart, on a scale of 1-10, I give her a 20.
We were consolidating A LOT of furniture and boxes from 2 storage units into 1 larger unit. There were many logistics to work out, including the fact we were changing floors within the interior storage facility. It could have been nightmare, but Myra was on duty at the Broadway location. She patiently explained the differences in costs, then on move day, Myra was kind as we began the move, patient when we were frazzled, and helped us with a broom and dustpan when we wanted to tidy up the unit we were vacating. It was a looong and tiring day for us, but everytime we entered the lobby, Myra was wearing a smile and sporting patience and kindness. She was a godsend.
