Now that we are not customers anymore, I feel I can be honest. The woman working the front desk named Destiny is no help at all. She hides in the back as you wait outside knocking at the door waiting to get help, she cusses at you and has the biggest attitude. Do not trust your items in this place.

Do not trust this Public Storage location with anything you care about.
My unit was broken into and everything inside was stolen.
When police responded, I was told there were numerous break-ins at this facility around the same time, several in just one day. I filed a police report and am now coordinating with detectives. Based on the number of secured access points and codes required to enter the property and reach the units, they indicated the level of access involved strongly suggests this was not random and required internal knowledge of the facility.
An employee also told me that a former staff member who had been fired had previously been cutting customers’ disc locks and replacing them with different circular locks. Hearing that, combined with the number of thefts, is extremely concerning.
Management’s response focused on paperwork and insurance technicalities instead of addressing the obvious security failures.
Multiple break-ins, lock tampering, and poor accountability is not what anyone should expect when paying for “secure” storage.
Store here at your own risk.

Now this woman, Destiny, who is extremely rude and unhelpful is putting up fake reviews using her name as someone who was "helpful." If you just look at the names and the repetitive posts it's obvious they are just trying to fix their review score now. Report them to Google!
This storage unit has been going downhill for the past year. I don't know if management changed or what, but gates have been broken for months and people can just walk right in. Eventually a door leading into the actual building was broken and allowed people to walk right in as well.
*** NOW PEOPLE'S ITEMS ARE BEING STOLEN! ***
If you use this location for your storage you need to go there ASAP and check that your unit was not broken into! There's a strong chance all your valuables are gone!
In addition to this, these people have the audacity to DOUBLE the rent that I was originally paying in the year that I've been here! It's insane. I'm taking my business elsewhere and I STRONGLY suggest everyone else who uses this company to do the same!

Moved out on Nov 30, unit cleaned and door left open. They tried to charge me today for Dec. I called them and was told someone used my access code Dec 1st at 12 noon which is IMPOSSIBLE because we are both clocked in at our jobs working across town. Waiting for them to review camera footage. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Saw someone breaking into a unit tonight and tried to call it in to the office. They refused to answer their phones during business hours. Came up to the door to let them know as well, still during business hours, and the lady at the front desk had already locked the doors for the night, and acted like I wasn't there.
This place really goes out of their way to ensure that thieves are allowed to come in an out of this place. Horrible service, fire them all!

Don't store your things here unless you like people breaking into your unit and stealing your belongings. They don't care about us as renters. They just love to up the prices though. I think I'm going to look into hiring an attorney since they've done me dirty before and they allowed my unit to get broken into
Tim was extremely helpful and kind! His customer service was 10/10. We got the wrong storage size and he was able to quickly get us the perfect size to fit our things!

This was a very convenient place for us to get to without a vehicle. The prices well on line are ok. But then they start to raise the price after a few months. Which we can't afford to keep moving storages so we deal. It's very clean the one guy is very nice and helpful. The place is supposed to be climate controlled but it's hot as hell in there and yes I took into consideration of going in and out plus the heat and everything else...no it's hot they maybe have one or two units working at a time and I've gone at different times a day and always the same. My husband almost fainted because of it and that's after being there for a good while... Plus the one elevator doesn't work it works sometimes and then it doesn't work for like the 2nd floor which makes us have to go all they way around to the other . So all in all the staff is great but facilities are no good rather the company...

FORMER TENANT OF OVER A YEAR REVIEW:
let’s start with if you are wondering why this facility has so many good reviews, they offer discounted rent rates when you first move in if you leave a positive review and will contact the phone number listed in your lease and offer you partial refunds to delete your bad reviews.
now that i have officially moved out, i will leave this brutally honest review and will preface this: i do not consent to the property manager or district manager to contact me.
i moved into a 10x15 unit and signed a contract with CUBESMART paying $97 a month. i had 0 issues when this facility was owned and operated by cubesmart. a few months into renting here, out of the blue, public storage bought this facility and forced me to sign a new contract with them and since the rent wasn’t changing, i saw no issue and signed.
very quickly, the gates to enter the property were broken, stuck wide open or even being bent due to being run into.
the new tenants they had move in were inconsiderate, blocking the doors to the facility with their vehicles, blocking entire hallways with all of their belongings and leaving trash and even their personal items in hallways and the elevators.
a rat died in one of the units on the first floor and the facility REAKED of death for several months after that, and the smell did not get better as peoples belongings have the facility smelling like mold.
somebody urinated in one of the elevators and it smelled of urine for several days and the men’s restroom has been out of order for several weeks.
roaches started appearing everywhere around the facility due to the uncleanliness of the tenants and lack of maintenance by the facility.
this facility only has 2 elevators and 1 of the 2 elevators is ALWAYS broken.
my unit was on the 3rd floor and most of my stored belongings were large pieces of vintage, HEAVY furniture, once the facility was run by public storage, the 10 dollies the facility used to have were trickling down up until the facility had ZERO dollies left.
i left a bad review after several weeks went by and they never brought in any flat bed carts and i was contacted by their district manager who told me he gets in trouble by his boss when they get bad reviews and i was offered a refund for 3 months of past rent for me to delete my review, looking back now, it was bribery and i fell for it.
it took several more weeks AFTER i left and subsequently deleted my bad review before the facility brought in THREE dollies for this several hundred unit, 3 story facility and within a week, they were all gone AGAIN and as of my move out date, may 7th, 2025, they still have ZERO flat bed carts.
over the last month or two, the AC hasn’t been turned on so the facility isn’t even climate controlled anymore either.
i spoke to management and even the same district manager i had spoken to before about these issues, nothing changed other than being offered another refund for 3 months rent by the same district manager that i declined this time.
i was a good, clean tenant who was NEVER late on my rent yet every 6 months my rent would be increased by $40-$50. my last notice of increase, they were going to start charging me $205 for a 10x15 unit in a facility thats “amenities” they brag about are non existent and the facility is in disrepair.
they essentially punish good loyal tenants by raising rent for no reason and don’t even use the money they make to ensure their facilities are clean, sanitary, safe and all amenities are available.
to prove how badly i wanted to leave this facility due to all of these issues, i paid $166 for May’s rent and my rent would cover up until May 28th, i vacated my unit on May 7th. i also took pictures and videos of how i left my unit to prevent any retaliation and ensure i am not accused of any wrong doing due to me leaving my brutally honest review.

I was renting at this unit when it was Cube Smart, which had available carts and prorated move in/move out rents. Public Storage took over suddenly and I had to sign their agreement to keep my unit. Things went down from there: no more public moving carts available - I had to buy one of my own. The parking lot, hallways and elevators started being covered in trash. My rent went up exponentially within a few months. I moved out on the 4th of this month and they have charged me a full 30 day month as is their policy - no reasonable pro rated rents are provided. If you call to complain or ask questions, you are forwarded to a generic call center.
I’m glad I got out of that place. Don’t rent here - go somewhere local that is reasonable. They are a large, disconnected, National chain that will provide a poor service at customer level and take every cent you have without question.

This facility is full of roaches, spiders, and an awful smell like something died on the first floor.
If you plan on renting a unit here, be prepared to have to make several trips, ALWAYS have someone else with you to help and BYOD, Bring Your Own Dolley, because they have 1 dolley for their 3 story facility.
Their solution for having no dolleys? putting a sign on the office that reads “NO CARTS, THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERED, NO ETA”
The issue of having no dolleys available has been an on going issue for my shared unit for a year now, essentially the entire time public storage has owned the facility since buying out Cube Smart.
It’s worth noting, I had ZERO issues when this facility was owned and run by Cube Smart.
Despite these ongoing issues, they still raise your rent every 3-6 months. IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE THEY ARE CHARGING.
Do yourself a favor, rent a unit somewhere else that actually cares about it’s customers, because this public storage facility does not care.
Manager is very on top of things. When a problem arose they were able to handle it swiftly. Plus the transition over from cubesmart was very smooth.

EDIT: Only issue is when I had to vacate and I had a few things I had no way of moving them and I asked what I could do. I'm disabled and my vehicle broke no way to move items left only 3 items. They gave me a super hard time and was aggressive about it and said they are going to charge me if I leave them there for every month they are there. I said ok they are abandoned , heres your lock and the unit Is open there is a sign on them that says free take me. So do what u want. So done

Deleted my previous review for cubesmart. This is now public storage. Not good news. Found a roach in my stuff. Been here for over a year and this is the first I’ve seen anything. No longer feels temperature controlled. The smell of death in the back area has me concerned. I think I will call the police to investigate and hopefully it’s not a body. It’s been smelling for over a month and that’s not natural. Getting my belongings out now before this get worse.
Edit: forgot to add that on of the gates has been broken for over a month. Had to reverse an 18 ft trailer out the way I came in. Not saying I had a difficult time doing that. What I am saying is I shouldn’t have to. Fix the gate.

I dislike the way Public storage wants payment on the first when it is not always possible. There is never no one in office and with all the extra fees for not having payment on the first.

After 2 weeks of deciding which storage locker facility was going to be the most economical. Going with CubeSmart as my storage locker was the best decision I made, Not only was the reservation process easy so was the actual rental. The kind gentleman named Dondrick went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. Even going so far as allowing me to preview the unit before any paperwork was taken care of. 5 star rating for the property which was climate controlled at 72 degrees in the middle of the 100+ degree summer and 10 stars for the customer service representative in the office. They have my business forsure

The manager Betty K was very helpful kind and professional and explained everything in the contract and pricing and offered if you needed moving or packing supplies but we gladly with client this time. CubeSmart needs to hire more people like her . She kept us laughing but at the same time very professional.

There is no rhyme or reason to the unit numbering. It was exhausting, after I had found my unit and set up shelving, trying to find it again!
After a very rough two years that ended in me moving from Iowa to Texas I am very thankful I decided to store our family’s things at this location. The general manager was very helpful and friendly. I was able to complete the e-check-in on my phone before arriving and set up auto pay to free up my mind for what really mattered. The facility has two elevators and always carts available to facilitate loading and unloading. Thank you for a great 7 months!
