Seems the model here is to get you in the door with a good rate and once you get settled they start raising the rates. It's been a battle and my last request for a more reasonable rate was denied. I guess they assume people are too lazy to move their stuff or just don't pay attention.
I recently moved to the area. I needed storage that was close by. I found Sally at the Alma & Parker location. She was very knowledgeable & professional. She answered all my questions and even brought to attention some things I didn't think about. Sally made shopping for storage simple and easy. A suggestion to upper management to consider is to please have the AC in the climate control units set a couple degrees cooler. I don’t think any other customers would disagree and it should be an easy fix and an instant impact to all who have indoor units by lowering it just a tad. I will say that I’m always pleased with the property manager, Sally. Sally’s friendly attitude, willingness to help and consistent great customer service is what has kept me from looking elsewhere for my storage needs. She has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions. Sally is also diligent about making sure customers don’t leave their unwanted belongings out and keeps the property nice and clean. Thanks Sally!

The property manager Sally is so professional and energetic. I've been renting at this location for over a year, I haven't had any issues. Sally is so willing to help. Excellent customer service.
Got confirmation email that my unit is ready so I schedule a moving crew and trailer. Upon arrival, there is Not a black plastic strip to remove but an actual lock that needs a key. Made every possible attempt to get a hold of any employee but no such luck. Now I have to pay the movers an additional hundreds of dollars to store All my stuff overnight, plus paying them Again to drive back the next day. Of course it started raining that night and following day, some of my stuff got water damaged. When they open the next day, the property manager is confused how that happened and says the corporate office should be in contact. Never heard anything, even called a couple times to be informed they haven't forgotten about me but no update yet. Here it is about FOUR WEEKS later and not a single word.
Not to mention, the light inside unit does Not work, changing light bulb didn't help

The above is from a year ago! And I’m back to add to my review…..Sally Sneed, and Kyle Downing are two other amazing employees! In the last few months both have helped my family save money and close our storage units. They spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me and where so patient and HELPFUL! Sally gave us such good tips on dealing with locks and move out. Their positivity and professional attitudes will NOT be forgotten. I spent more time on the phone with Sally and I am leaving feeling like I have met such a good, kind, hard working person! She is GREAT at her job! If we need storage again I will be back because of their great service!!!

This was the most seamless experience I could imagine. I was nervous about looking for a storage unit because I thought it was going to be painful to find one for the right size, price, and location. Nick was very responsive and understood what I was looking for and found a unit that fit my family's needs. We were in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.

I have rented a storage space with/at Public Storage multiple times, through the years. I appreciate the simple & easy online reservation process.
This is my first time renting a unit at the Alma Dr. location and was assisted by the friendly and sweet property manager, Ms. Sally. I have worked with her in that past, at another Public Storage location. I appreciate Ms. Sally’s friendliness, understanding and excellent customer service. She is easy to work with and is helpful.
As for the property itself, it was clean on my visit. I appreciate how they offer climate controlled storage units and have elevators and push carts available for ease of moving your things.
Another convinient feature I like is the mobile app that allows you gate access, instead of having to pull up to or walk up to a pin pad, especially on hot summer days, rainy days or cold winter months.
Lastly, I appreciate the affordable prices offered, at least for the first couple months of your rental period. Thank you, Sally for your help today. I appreciate you 😊
I give this four stars (originally), mostly because of Sally, the property manager. She was absolutely great in getting me in—very friendly and helpful with every question and issue. Public Storage, as a company, is a little disappointing, especially at this location. If you want to move on a Saturday, do plan to have your own dollies, as they only have one flatbed trolly for the climate-controlled building. Also, be aware they use other type locks that force you to buy theirs for an extra $15.
As a follow-up, we’ve had 2 units here now and, while I consider them “pricey,” we have been very satisfied after the couple move-in bumps mentioned above. It is always clean and well-functioning and move-out is easy. Again, I think Sally is a truly marvelous property manager to work with so despite my issues, I would still rent a unit here again and recommend it to others. I’m adding the final star…🙂👍

I have had the best experience since moving my belongings to this location. Miss Sally is THE best! She calls to keep me up to date, follows up with any concerns I may have and always has the biggest brightest smile and a friendly word when I see her! I would HIGHLY recommend this Public Storage location!
The place is old and run down. In less than 6 months they increased my rate by $20 and then increased it again by $18 for a total of $118, which is ridiculous. Plus they don't pro-rate.
Oh and they're cute by sending you a notice of rate increase via snail mail. So it takes a while for it to arrive. Basically less than 30 day notice. Elevator is Shakey mistakey and don't exactly close and needs assistance. Smells of piss. Dim and narrow.
Calling corporate for an issue I had 2 months in was impossible and wanted to charge me a fee of $20 for something I didn't do. Took 2 weeks for them to resolve it.
The person running is nice, she's the only reason it earns another star.

The worst customer service I have ever seen was from the management here. Lisa had my car towed today and the sign clearly says for patron parking only. I guess that they don’t consider the 219 bucks I pay monthly at this location as a patron. I was basically told that it wasn’t their problem and that I had to take it up with the towing company. But yet they had to call it in to get it towed? God forbid they actually admit to doing something wrong.

Lisa was extremely helpful and thorough once I was able to finally get in touch with the office. It’s been a few months and there has been a rate increase on the rent. When I first chose this facility, she mentioned that all I had to do was call and she could try to get the rent discounted when that happens. I tried to contact the store and literally NO ONE ever answers! I don’t have free time to stop in so that’s inconvenient. If you do get ahold of someone, it’s a person in a call center or something… not the local store so they still can’t help. Hopefully I can move my stuff out of here ASAP. Not to mention, compared to the other facilities around, this location is very old and dingy… it’s not taken care of. Stuffing falling out of HUGE holes in the ceiling. Old elevator that actually stopped functioning when the movers were moving my stuff in… etc. but I was in a hurry to pick a place and it was cheaper than the uhaul next door but I should’ve looked at other options.

Raised prices again. This time they doubled!! Not worth it. Also there are never any dollys to move stuff in and out....disappeared one day a year and a half ago and were never replaced.
