Great service and clean storages
Agent Tivon very courteous, knowledgable and very friendly. He explained clearly and answered my questions patiently. The entire place is very clean. Loading/ unloading items is easy, they provide carts to take boxes to the storage unit. Elevator is right by the door very convenient to transfer boxes to the to my storage unit. I would recommend anyone to make use if this storage place.

First, let me say the 2 gentlemen at the front desk are very nice and this is not their fault. It's taken some time to process the loss, but my storage unit was emptied. All of it was stolen.
Yes, I paid every month on time by automatic withdrawal. That's not what happened.
My father was murdered in 1993...what I had left of his belongings (which was very little) was in there. My children's baby photos. My grandmother's things. My mother's things. MY THINGS. What use are cameras or impenetrable front doors needing codes to open? If your unit is EMPTIED, there is absolutely nothing they will do to help you. NOTHING!!!! They won't look through camera feed to see suspicious removal of a very large unique item out of one's unit, what day it happened and who used the code to get in that day....Seems to me it would be fairly easy to figure out who did this. You're on your own. Accept the loss because it is gone. You're never getting it back.
My advice is: Have the best lock money can buy on your unit and swallow the key. Also, don't put anything precious in storage while you're going through major life transition, thinking your valuables are safe. Only put what you're prepared to part with in there because it might not make it back home. I should have never, ever, ever, ever trusted anyone with my family things. My mistake thinking a nice, indoor unit with cameras and locked doors in Plano would keep my parent's things safe.

HORRIBLE customer service from district manager UJ Cho. I was told twice early this week that Mr Cho said he would call me soon, but it's been 4 days an no call. This place massively raised my rent every 6 months without ever letting me know that it's possible to request to keep the current rate I had. HORRIBLE practice taking advantage of customers.

I have 2 units at this Plano (Tennyson Pkwy) location and have been incredibly pleased with my experience here thus far. Most recently, Muhammad was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and patient as I secured an extra unit (while I was also managing my active 1 year old that was with me). He helped me navigate the options that made most sense for our needs (location, size, floor, etc), and the overall process has been very simple and easy.

I don't even know where to start! Public Storage appears professional, but their staff hiring process needs significant improvement. Booking my first storage unit online and finalizing it with Tevon went smoothly, and the convenient unit access was great. However, renting a second unit was a nightmare. Despite assurances from the front desk (another team members) that the $29 one-time fee for renting an additional unit would be waived, I was still charged. I reserved the second unit online to get a better rate and requested it be on the same level as my first unit. Initially, I was told this was possible, but it turned out not to be. This added to the stress of moving, along with unnecessary costs and the incompetence of the agent that day was too much… Additionally, my access code didn’t work, and they were no dollies and only two carts available.
I want to say thank you… Mister Muhammad, he enrolled me with a great special. He was patience with me. Always try to get new ways to get discount. And Valerie always helps me too. Public store it’s a good option for reserve your space

I had gotten a storage unit a couple months ago and someone had made a mistake in their system saying I was moving out of my unit when I wasn’t. I went in to deal with the problem and see how it could be fixed. I was helped by VALERIE, she was so sweet and knew her stuff. I was originally going to have to pay more than what I was paying for my unit before the mistake was made…about $30 more every month. VALERIE kept that from happening and got me into a new unit that was a better for me all around. She went above and beyond. She’s amazing, I would go in and talk/ ask for VALERIE, if you ever need any help!
I have been using this public storage for over a year. It has been seamless and I have peace of mind as per my property stored. One complaint I had was my rent for my storage was increased with no warning. However the staff were very helpful and responsive whenever I had an issue.

Valerie has the BEST customer service that I have had in a while. More places need her presence and attitude. On the flip side they have no carts to move your things in. I literally saw customers 60-70 years of age struggling to take items in. What a shame!
Horrible service. No one answers calls and there's never a person in site to help with storage issues.
Public Storage will first entice you with a low initial online rate but if you stay a year or more, they will start jacking up your monthly rate. Our rate has almost doubled in 2 years! Beware - they don't care about longtime loyal customers. We will be looking for a more reasonable alternative.

Paid storage 27 days late and they SOLD my entire storage. I talked to the manager and let her know that I broke my hip, missed work and payment would be late. She said ok but she was a liar. The wanted my belongings...I hate this company, they are CROOKS! DONT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY!
This location is very clean and spacious. But I had a problem finding a cart to move my belongings.
So I went to the office to ask for a cart. The clerk stated that there is only 3 carts for this facility.
After 5 minutes, I had no choice but to move my things without using a cart. Next time, i have to bring my own cart or dollie... #absurd

The cubes are clean and building easy to get in and out HOWEVER. Trying to talk to anyone is difficult as extremely low staff. They raise prices with no heads up and then when you move out barely using the month they don’t prorate. If you are switching into another of their units you can get credited for having keys otherwise you get no credit and are stuck with them. Customer service isn’t good. They offer one phone number , no email, no messaging. This wasn’t a good experience. I will never use this facility again. I am actually not hard to please and never leave bad reviews.

The lady's that help you with the access are so gentle and make you really easy everything. The storages have diferents prices, depending of what size you like. And it's the sheapest storage in the neighborhood.

Was concerned at first with the process but we had to have a unit on a Sunday evening no other option. Was a great experience using their after hours online booking while sitting in their parking lot it was almost immediate. Then was concerned about a lock but they had that handled also the unit was zip tied and a welcome package with a lock and keys were sitting on the floor. Unit and facility was nicely conditioned and very clean.
Jennifer did a great job on follow up to close out the unit. Job well done by all the folks there at this location !!!

There are a total of two carts available for this entire place which is 100% unreasonable for a facility this size. Three trips here today netted me wasting over an hour waiting for an available cart to simply move my stuff in. And this was a Tuesday afternoon. Ridiculous!

Great experience at this location. Worked directly with Danai and she could not have been more pleasant to work with. When it came time to terminate my lease she took good care of me and made the whole process easy. I won't hesitate using this location again when I have storage needs because of the excellent service provided by Danai.
We had an express check in a scheduled. We showed up and no one was there. We called the assistance phone number and we got an apology, but no solution.

My first day was a bit of a disaster. I went into the office to rent and a new guy was working. He seemed to not know what was going on. My unit wasn’t staged so when I was ready to move in, I was locked out. I called and waited for over 2 hours and nobody returned to the office. Customer service tried their best to help. I was frustrated because I took the day off to move in and could not. Wasted time. I finally got moved in and DeNai was super helpful. She had me come back and sign paperwork. She’s effective and knows her job. I suggest better training and CELL PHONES for all employees. Location also needs more carts for customers.

I had to go to a different bldg to be able to gain access here to use unit. I don’t know what this brown composites are that’s all over the walls but I feel a sample to be sure it’s not mold is needed. It’s gross and it drops on items. If you use this place test it as well. The inside looks super gross and dirty, especially the elevators. Whomever manages this location should be ashamed. Your property is a reflection of you as the owner.
I come to my storage several times a week around 6-6:30 a.m. today I punched in my code at 6:22 code was accepted but doors would not open. What a inconvenience.
Update 8/12/2022
It’s 6:37 a.m. no access access hours are 6am-9pm. The glass pictured below has been there for 3 days I have seen trash sit outside of the building longer than a week.
I have been there twice in the past few days and no one has been there during the hours posted. I also called and had to leave a message, no return call yet
Never any trolleys, having to carry boxes by hand multiple times up and down the lifts. Getting very frustrating
I have not been able to reach the property manager for 4 days, via visiting in person during the appointed office open hours several times (door locked + no one is there), calling during office hours several times everyday, and leaving several voice mails with my callback information.
Public storage phone customer service number is all automated, and only directs you back to the location's phone line (Where no one picks up as stated above) & I've used p.storage live chat assistance, where they straight up told me nothing can be done without the property manager's response, and said "Perhaps reach out to other nearby locations." ?? Terrible service, terrible system..
The building is unlocked but your storage unit is inaccessible after sundown. 6/5/22: there's only one working elevator which has no lights inside. The temperature inside the unit is about 80°

This location has always been friendly and easy to work with. Well maintained and clean site. Holly was wonderful and a pleasure at all times.

I had storage here for 10 months. My storage was due on the 1st and I paid 23 days late and the sold my items. I never received a written notice..they are crooks

Update: I received a call from Steven and he listened to and addressed my concerns! Everything has been resolved & based on the excellent service that Steven provided, I am now satisfied and will continue to use this location!!
I was VERY disappointed with the service I received this past Tuesday, May 31st. After I left, I called the toll free number for Public Storage and voiced my concern & complaint. I was assured I would receivea follow-up call in 24-48 hours to address my concerns and I was never contacted! I have been using this location for over 1 year and because of this experience, I will definitely be canceling.
Did contactless move in all went great, keys in unit as stated. Was able to move one load in before closing. Came back with a load to move in unit at 6 am as it states on website and all my move in documents, but can not gain access. It's now 830 AM and still can not get in as well as several others can not get in. Call 800 number to get help and that was pointless they just tell you it is a 930am access not 6am access which is not true. They will not help and will not contact manager to get them out here to open the doors. I am now running so far behind. This is ridiculous,that they have no plan in place for situation such as this. I am more having to take time off work, losing his which shortens my paycheck that pays for this $141 monthly unit. I'm sure they will not accept any excuses when rent time come around!! Just plan and simple poor customer service, poor lack of planning for emergency situations such as this, and customer service not having onsite staff contact info or district manager info is just ridiculous!! Public storage you need to take a few steps back restructure your planning for emergency and re-train staff on customer service!!

Nice place. Would be better if anyone would open the office. I really needed to speak with someone onsite so I waited over an hour. Calls to national centers didn't help. Voicemail for property manager didn't help. No signs on the doors to explain the closed office. Watched numerous others come and go. Taking my business somewhere else!

After moving all items into my unit with the exception of a curved leather sofa. I was trying to figure out how to place it in my unit, and I asked Matt his opinion and he was kind to suggest how to lay it in in order to get other items in. I was very thankful Matt took out the time out of his busy schedule, to make suggestions as I had run out of ideas.

I came to the storage to remove my washer and dryer and Matt the property manager there was more than helpful. He wasn’t supposed to help me move my washer and dryer but because he saw that I was in need of help he gave me a hand. I couldn’t have done it without him and for that I am great full.
