Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 5710 Broadway St, Pearland, TX

I got behind due to my son trying to unnalive himself. I paid the 145 but forgot the 50 cents. They would not wave the 50 cents or allow me access to my storage over owing 50 cents. Their units also have roaches and they do not spray for bugs. They are very rude and unprofessional

Pearland location can't speak on others now if Amber was in charge of all location then 5 stars for all because she was polite, helpful and informative being my first time renting a storage unit answer all my questions with a positive attitude very friendly and helpful to the other people who enter the office why i was there customer service 5 star

Amber great manger she always over beyond to help her customers. She was overwhelmed day and she about to go lunch break instead she came us with gate system since we have issue and get us set up because we had wrong gate code and got set up with able to make it easier for us. She definitely deserves customer service award because she really helping customers out especially when Just her I definitely recommend this storage facility because Amber Rocks and definitely keep this property clean!! There are no cameras in the buildings or at the gates. There have been multiple break-ins in the building that our unit is located in. Management seems apathetic towards the situation.

I came to public storage at 5710 Broadway st on one of the baddest weather days, I needed to find the proper space and size for my belongings as the weather was turning very bad quickly.Luckily ms Amber was on duty and was incredibly professional welcoming and very knowledgeable of what was available that could potentially be suited for what I needed and I got the perfect size for all my things, Amber showed me different sizes and rates of units and I ended up with the perfect size and price I could afford..Ambers knowledge of what was available helped me make a very good decision which brought peace and assurance to me on that afternoon.. I will gladly recommend my friends and relatives to public storage. Way to go Amber great great customer service. Anthony Ross

I’ve been with Public Storage for awhile now and Amber the property manager has been Awesome to me and my family… Recently there have been an incident to where a couple of units were broken into… It’s crazy how another property manager spouse broke into the units which was informed to me by law enforcement…I really hate how bad things can happen to good people… That situation affected the one’s that pay every month to keep there belongings safe… It also affected Amber who is The manager of this particular property, she’s a sweetheart and didn’t have anything to do with this situation… Again it was another managers husband at a different Storage unit Property who committed the crimes…

Make sure if you schedule a reservation, schedule it last minute, and not in advance. Otherwise, this company will call you EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. even AFTER you've asked them to stop calling because you're feeling harassed. They'll tell you they are only doing what they're told, but I used to manage a storage facility. If my customer asked us something, we respected their wish. This location didn't care. So I could imagine the care I would've received after moving in, so I canceled my reservation. They need to rethink their customer service. No one likes to be hounded. ***UPDATE*** The manager Justis called to inquire about what happened. Because he seemed empathetic on the phone, I did attempt to go to their other facility. However, they were unable to accommodate me. I was asked if I would be willing to update my review, so I'm moving it to a 3 (1 star because the manager seemed genuine and 1 star because he did try to accommodate me at another facility). I will not go higher, though, nor edit my original review. Should this act of nagging/harassment continue, corporate needs to see the trend.

I almost went to Public Storage. They charged twice as much as Simply Storage. The manager is super friendly and helpful. They even provided the lock. Really clean and easy to access. Overall, I am very pleased with Simple Storage.

Military veteran who moved in 3 months ago and already the price has been raised by 25%. Will be looking for a new place and won't be recommending this one anymore. Update: Spoke to administration and their company policy is to raise rates every 3-6 months so beware.

Horrible. I have leased a unit for almost 2 years. When the new owners took over my unit went up. Now I pay $226.00 a month. The same unit now costs $169.00. On another note. We are not allowed to use the dumpster. It is locked. I asked if I could throw away a few old things (since I was getting another pallet delivered to my house for work) & they told me NO. I am starting to look around for another storage unit. Mind you I have NEVER been late in paying. Also HORRIBLE Customer service

I’ve been a customer of Simply Self Storage (formerly Storage Choice) for over 13 years for RV storage. 3 months ago, we reserved a covered site and moved our RV to the new spot. Since then, I was billed for both sites for 2 months even though we vacated the original one and notified the office staff. The District Manager, David Freudenberger, is apparently the only one who can authorize a refund for their billing mistake. I have called the office numerous times, visited the office twice, called corporate and have emailed David twice to no avail. I’ve never missed a payment in 13 years but yet when they over billed me, I cannot get a response. I’ll keep trying but save yourself a headache if you don’t want to deal with such nonsense.

Everything was very smooth and Jerson was very helpful showing me all the units so I could decide what I needed.

VERY expensive. New management is NOT customer friendly. Would not recommend.

I've had a pretty rough month with my vehicle getting damaged in a small accident. There were a few inconvenient issues with my storage unit & vehicle (due to my lack of planning this out) but Mariana was an ANGEL and helped me SO much by making this process as smooth and quick as possible. She's honestly made my day and my month so much better by simply being kind, patient, and again, extremely helpful. She really went above and beyond to go out of her way and make sure I had everything taken care of. Thank you Mariana!!! And thank you Simply Self Storage for having such great employees & prices!

When entering, gate opens towards keypad. Doesn't seem like a big deal but when in a moving truck and in very small parking lot, can be a challenge to get around the gate when fully open. No lights in outside non-climate units, no idea about climate controlled. Bring your own lock, but be prepared for facility to put a sticker / tag on it, but not all locks are tagged. Found a sign on rear wall that indicated the walls were washed with soap and water, floor swept *and mopped*, door cleaned, etc. Unit was very clean, even 4 years later. Parking lot incredibly small, looks like 1 non-handicap parking space. Road through buildings is directional, was nice. No dumpster, but most don't.

Daniel showed me the units and around the property...they are a gated storage facility. Sofia got my contract done and both showed awesome customer serice!

My experience was great to be quite honest. The staff really knows their stuff and are extremely patient, nice and super helpful. The staff member who helped me was a young lady named Sofia, she’s super sweet and made me laugh so much. Sofia was truly one of a kind and answered all of my one million questions.
