This location is horrible I had an issue when I moved in, Brandi is not helpful, she did not try and help me with the storage I have. I have the same size storage and paying $60 more than my original charge. I even went all the way to the location in Missouri City and spoke with Mary which she tills me the regional manager would give me a call and that still has not happened. I have called everyday for two wells straight and left voicemail everyday with NO CALL back. I will be going to corporate with this complaint.

Available space was supposed to be downstairs, but when I arrived at the site it was actually upstairs. Apparently this happens quite often. Annoying!

I have a climate control unit the AC been out for over 4 months now. I filed a insurance claim because my candle business was stored in there. My soft wax melted and all of my fragrance oil were ruin because of the heat. I live in Texas and the weather is hot so image what the unit is inside. The insurance denied my claim and public storage is still charging me for climate control even though the AC is out. They can't move me to another unit because they don't have that size available. The general manager hasn't contacted me yet. It's been 4 months. This place is trash.
I am a former tenant of Unit #1133 at the Public Storage facility situated at 5959 Alpha Rd, Dallas, TX 75240. I wish to express my significant concerns regarding my recent experience with this establishment.
Having leased the unit for nearly two years, I initially encountered exemplary service from the property manager. However, as time progressed, it became apparent that management had undergone changes. In the weeks leading up to my departure, I made multiple attempts during office hours to visit the location, only to find it consistently unmanned. Despite leaving voicemail messages, my attempts to procure packing materials were unsuccessful, necessitating visits to an alternative Public Storage site.
Upon vacating the unit on June 21st and returning the keys (photographic evidence enclosed), I observed a concerning lapse in security. The lockbox was broken and left unsecured, posing a serious risk for a facility designed to safeguard personal belongings. Despite leaving voicemails expressing my concerns, it took several days for a response confirming my move-out, with assurances of forthcoming documentation that, as of this writing, I have yet to receive.
Regrettably, I recently discovered a charge of $204.00 applied to my account despite no longer utilizing the unit. Following persistent efforts, I finally spoke with a representative who promised a refund, though I remain apprehensive about the execution given the lack of communication regarding my move-out status.
My dissatisfaction extends beyond financial concerns. The lack of responsiveness and security oversight at this Public Storage location reflects poorly on the company's standards. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly and would appreciate direct communication with senior leadership to address these issues and ensure appropriate resolution.
Danielle was such a bubbly person! She was helpful, kind and overall just phenomenal customer service. I would recommend coming, she’ll take care of you.

I have been at this same location for over 3 years and she has always been nothing but nice her customer service is always on point she calls to remind me when it’s time to renew or make a payment she’s patient with me because I travel a lot and I forget when to change billing, insurance etc. and instead of her placing a lien or hold on my unit she actually cares she will make that phone call first! Also my trailer is safe. I would definitely recommend this particular simply self storage location Manvel Tx!

If I could give this place 50 stars, I would. I rented a secure parking spot for my bobtail here. I heard so many wonderful things about Ms. Tammy and finally got to meet her in person and find out ALL of them were true. I completed my paperwork with Ms. Jennifer and she was friendly and professional as well. They don't have space for a 53ft trailer so I don't know how long I will stay but for now, it's perfect. I love the app for gate access, which saves me a couple climbs in and out of the truck! 😁

The manager is very attentive and professional, I even one time didn’t lock my unit correctly and got a call from her letting me know. I was so appreciative over her attention to detail. By far the best storage manager I’ve dealt with.
The only thing I would change is that electricity outlets at the units would be great for some things I wanted to do when I was at the unit.

If your in manvel texas and you need a place to store you items this is the storage you will feel and see how secure your stuff will be. The storage manager tammy is constantly driving around the entire unit and if she shes something thats unusual believe me she will be on you. If shes not there Jenifer is also great .
P.S if you happen to need help loading and unloading your household goods they will help you get labor for you .

I advise anyone who is looking for storage, look elsewhere please. This location has the worst possible level of customer service and should be avoided like the plague.
We have several units in this site, on May 28th 2022 we signed our notice to vacate and we were given our move out ticket; however, we were charged for the month of June for the unit that we closed. We contacted the site office, talked to someone that referred us to Jennifer the new site manager, she said they were having issues with their system but she will email the site director to approve a refund. We waited a week, called again and it was the same story, we asked for the site director phone number, David, and they said he is not receiving calls on his phone number, we asked for Corporate number and Jennifer gave me a Sales department number which proceed to give the real Corporate number, it's been 4 weeks since we've been dealing with this refund situation and still no answer from anyone. If we don't get our refund I'll cancel my other unit and take my business somewhere else.
I ran into SO MANY issues starting with the online check in (corporate’s fault) and once finally being able to speak to Lorrie at the actual location she was great. She stayed late to help me get in since the gate was not working. Once finally in, they had the unit locked. Thankfully she was still there and helped us AGAIN. She’s great and helped us overcome all issues.
Dawn was extremely helpful and displayed hospitality not typically seen among businesses.
Lori was very kind and very helpful. She was fast and efficient and got us in and out. Thank You for the great customer service

Went in today to purchase some moving boxes and received great customer service. It was Lori's first day on the job, but one would never know it. She was very nice and knowledgable and even helped me carry my boxes to my car. Thank you so much for making a potential stressful situation calm and satisfying.

Loved the contactless online set-up! I was able to select the unit my family needed for moving, paid, and submitted my ID in under 10 minutes! I love the app as well! The owner is soooooo sweet and really loves her customers. Manvel PD is close and responds to any potential theft calls so your stuff will be protected! This is THE storage unit if you want your stuff protected and want to skip all the annoying admin set-up.

Simply crooks! DO NOT use these people! I originally had a contract with Cubesmart. The first time I get any information from these people is a letter of demand notifying me they would be auctioning my locker.
If you currently utilize these people for storage I recommend you seek other options.

We have been renting a storage unit at this location for over 6 years. Tammy and the office staff have always been very helpful and understanding. The recent acquisition of this facility by Simply Self Storage appears to have been a good move with some upgraded security measures which we sincerely appreciate.

Tammy and David are a great asset to the company. They went above and beyond to make the process smoothly. In this industry no one goes an extra miles but those two found a way to do it with a smile. I will always go back to this location when I am in the Houston TX area for a storage or parking for my trucks or trailer.

Excellent customer service! I have been renting a spot for my RV that was much bigger than I needed. Tammy and David found me a spot that better fit my RV and was much cheaper. I have been storing my RV at this location and the facility has changed ownership twice. Simply Self Storage has made several very good upgrades. A caring company!
