Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 4921 Davis Blvd, No Richland Hills, TX

Horrible place managed by incompetent people. Oh, and full of rats, See pics of rat poop. First, they will rent you a unit at a cheap price, and not tell you that the rent is not fixed, that according to your contract, they can basically change the rent at anytime. And guess what, it never gets cheaper, course not, just goes up. Big surprise. Second, I had one week to move my belongings out of the unit, since I was moving out of town. I had been renting for about a year and I was never once late on my bill. I show up to get my stuff, and to my surprise, find a second lock on my unit, that was not installed by me, and could not gain access to my unit. I go into the office, which in the past, was also almost always empty btw. The girl inside said they could not remove the lock, and that I’d have to remove myself. I told her it was not my lock, and that they could remove it. Finally, after prob a few dozen phone calls, to their worthless 800 number, which gets you customer service in India or something, and nearly a week later, they finally had someone come out and remove the lock. I also called the district manager, I think a guy named Marcus, prob another dozen times (he never answers his phone and does not return phone calls). Finally got in contact with him via email, again, I think close to 5 days later. Had to rent another uhual to move my stuff. Avoid this place and any public storage facility. Their customer service is atrocious.

Excellent customer service. Robin helped me and husband with our storage we wanted to upgrade from a 5x10 to a 10 x10 and she made it super easy and understandable for us. No hassle, no wait, and no headache. 10/10 recommend.

I rented a storage space from Public Storage. Robin works in the office and she helped me through the rental process and setting up the app on my phone to have gate access. She made the process extremely easy and I would recommend Public Storage and Robin in particular.

Austin was amazing 1-10 he gets a 25! Love it. Dont really like the 9pm no fly zone but we have to abide by it til something else comes along. Other than that very clean and orderly.

Well we came close to closing after doing a reservation online and AUSTIN was great. He was efficient and very knowledgeable. Covered all we needed to know and still had a few minutes before closing. Definitely a 5 if not 10.

Bugs, rat droppings everywhere, mice/rats chewed up some shoes, not temperature controlled like I was told at rental check in and every 6 months the price goes up. Last increase went from $167 in March 2024 to $227 in April 2024 so I finally moved my things. Never any improvements to justify increase...just because they can.

Do you need more space at a decent place? Look no further they have all kinds of sizes to choose from. Place is kept clean and monitored.

Closed out a unit and they deleted our access code before we had exited the premise. We were locked inside the gate.

The new property manger Kimberly is wonderful!!! The grounds are kept up and I feel comfortable storing my belongings at this location

This facility is infested with rats. Do not put your things here unless you're ok with them being chewed up and completely covered with rat excrement. They do absolutely nothing about it but tell you to file a claim with the insurance they force you to purchase, when they already know that it does NOT cover vermin. Also, the deals they advertise only last 3 months and then they will more than double your rent.

Thanks for watching us at the door, watching us sit in the parking lot right next to your car. Call and reserve a unit, and then you get in your car and leave without acknowledging us. Won’t be using this company. Hope your lunch and bank run was super awesome!

Nobody likes to have to pay to store items that they don’t have room for, but if you have to do it, let me recommend Amanda and Public Storage on Davis Blvd. They have been great to deal with since I got there, and even today when I moved out after a long long stay, it was top notch treatment and great customer service!! Thank you to PS and Amanda for a great experience!

This place has bugs, rats, and way overpriced.

Forgot I was auto pay ,got on computer it said I owed so I paid it so I got charged twice I call to tell them he says ok I was paid for July I didn't have money to pay for two months.i moved out last week and still have not been refunded.15 days later still no refund and they wo 't return calls

I had stuff here for about 8 months. I decided to move out because my storage unit rate went up, I was paying 120 a month and the cost went up to 160 after 6 months, they went to see if they could reduce my rate back but to no avail. Upon moving out I had the wonderful discovery of rat dropping in my unit! Now a bunch of stuff I had stored there I'm probably just going to end up throwing away because it’s pretty disgusting. I would not recommend storing stuff here unless any of what I have just said sounds like fun to you.

I was very disappointed with this location. We won a unit from auction and little did we know it was very, very molded every where. Just disgusting. They should be ashamed of even auctioning off this unit. Words can’t even describe how nasty this unit was. Just be aware and get insurance if you rent a storage from this location.

Troy the district manager is a weirdo. As a professional you should speak when spoken to. If you don't like your job find another one. Because you have to deal with the public in your line of work as a public storage worker. You should know better customer service and manners.

I do not recommend this Public Storage facility. First of all they force you to carry their insurance when you sign up online. Secondly the divided walls are far from secure. They have used shaft liner which is basically sheetrock between each unit. This could easily be torn down or taken down. Thirdly my Home contents were in this facility for 2.5 weeks and the rats have torn into many of my boxes. I moved my things out on the 5th of the month and I am now paying for an empty unit. They do not have any kind of partial month for moving out in the middle of the month. I left my lock on the unit knowing if had taken it off they would rent it out for double rent.

Property and employee David are fine but the thing that gets me is the 9pm gate lock. Why not 10pm ?

Don’t use this location. Gate is broken and no one will answer. Now I owe another day on a U-Haul.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I have had a storage unit at this location for 10 plus years. Ever since Nicole left I have had nothing but issues. Now the New Manager named David is denying me access to my unit that I have paid in full for. When I asked for his Supervisor's phone number he hung up on me. Horrible company. Do not rent here.

I have a locker here and the managers are top rate. I have a new door that's easier to open and lock.

DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT HERE! I rented from this location once before and I didn't have any problems. Now that I'm moving to another apartment I was trying to put my things in a unit again. I paid my last unit before moving and even had the employee walk through the unit to make sure there was no damages (all I had was a couch and a couple of boxes) and they blocked me from renting from every Public storage. I've called the customer care number and even called the district manager and no one can tell me why I was block. I've paid my bill and made sure there was no damages In the unit. Corporate couldn't tell me why either. So just save your money and get a storage unit from U-Haul down the street.

Rent increases every 6 months, 4 different managers so far this year and most units are not covered by the security cameras.

Terrible storage unit experience. I found this place and reserved online without seeing it. As soon as I pulled up I could tell is was much lower quality than other locations. The office is always closed, storage units are being remodeled, and none of that was communicated when signing up. We unloaded our things and noticed they were remodeling and repainting, that everyone had respirators and masks. We just looked past it and moved on. Two weeks later we return to drop off/pick up things and notice that none of the lights work and there's a layer of dust on everything. I started to go into a sneezing fit as soon as I opened the door and continued to have fits every time I moved anything inside. After getting home and showering I noticed I started to get a sinus infection so I called the office, no answer, so I left a message and proceeded to call for the next 4 days in a row before calling customer service and filing a formal complaint. Over a week later and they finally reached out to say that the regional manager would be in contact.

Prices are reasonable but need to extend storage access hours.

Most honest and up front business for auto repairs and service.

Lillian greeted me with a warm welcome, was expecting me since I reserved the space online, was informative and very polite. The location is an older, but clean and kept up. Thanks again. Update: Shantel I think is her name, new manager, was amazing busting out the tools and fixing this busted up plate on the door enabling my lock to securely lock. She fixed it so I didn't have to transfer all of my stuff into a different unit that was very helpful she also brought me some carts to help me move my stuff to a different unit very very helpful I did it a lot faster than what I was doing to begin with I was stacking it on top of my car LOL

Shawtal was very helpful and polite. She was knowledgeable about the facility and policies. She also showed me a couple of storage spaces to help me get a better feel for which one fit best for what I was trying to store. Great location as well. I look forward to doing business with them. So far my experience has been good.

Jennifer was a life saver for me today! My movers showed up in a semi and were not comfortable driving the truck into the facility. On top of that they wanted to charge me a surcharge (of $350+) based on the distance they had to walk my items to my reserved locker in row C. I told Jennifer about my situation and asked if I could move to a locker closer to the road to reduce the mover's surcharge. She immediately dropped everything to help me! Within minutes my locker reservation was moved, Jennifer made the process super easy for me, the entire time she was super sympathetic to my situation, and she saved me a ton of money. Jennifer went above and beyond. Excellent customer service!!
