Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 7601 Airport Fwy, Richland Hills, TX

OMG can you believe what the OWNER posted below??? is there a bot doing everything for them ... I state my camper was stolen and their response was thanks ... please don't use the storage facility ... they lack security and integrity ... SMH Our camper and other campers were stolen off their lot ... their gate was broken for 3 weeks and during this time thieves were busy .... I left my original review so people can see how something can go from sugar to chit >>> this was my original post ...>>>>>........ Came to look at a spot for our camper and left knowing we were in good hands ...Michelle is awesome she took such good care of us .... We will recommend this spot to everyone

Update: Manager at the location reached out to me to let me know they will keep my rent at $143 for additional 3 months. Does not change how I feel about the massive increases in rent here, but at least an effort was made and I understand not her call on the increases. Will still relocate unless something more permanent is worked out. I understand increases, but an increase of around 85% in less than 12 months is ridiculous. Nice place, clean units. Rates are pretty good, but only when you move in! Rented a unit for $106/mo in Sept 2023. February the rent goes to $143/mo. July got notice going to $191/mo. If I am new and want to rent the same unit? $77. Call the 800 number...automated menu, no option to get a live person. Try online chat - agents are not available. Chat support is open till 6pm PST, it is 643pm CST, sooo....Called the location a few times...nada. Will be putting in notice to vacate, this is a ripoff.

8/11 update, still no returned calls from the office Still being charged. Left ANOTHER voicemail today. Really can't un recommend enough. We moved out, cleaned and cancelled our unit on 7/31. On 8/3 I start getting text about monthly rent. Ignored it at first, because sometimes things take a couple days to filter through. Then I kept getting texts and warnings about late fees. I tried fixing it through the app - can't; tried calling corporate to fix it - can't; tried using the website - can't; go to visit this office again today, at posted hours - can't. They are not open, again. (8/9/2023) Talked to corporate customer service and it was just a ridiculous circle. At the end of the day, they want me to trust property management to get it figured out. (It's already been 9 days since we vacated). Called the local office and left voice mail for return call.Started off as a good experience. Really enjoyed the representative we dealt with initially (Angela). Something has happened in the last few months though... 1st rat issues and their lack of concern; now there is rarely anyone available during regular hours to take payment. Just made my 3rd attempt for this month. Sign on the door says open, smaller signs says go to another location. Last time I tried that location was closed too, even AFTER I was verbally told it would be open. 😡 I'll do the rest of my errands and then go check out that location on Trinity. , But truly- If you haven't started renting here, don't. Frustrating

Donetta from a nearby location helped me out immensely with such efficiency and kindness. She literally had to be in two places at once. She went above and beyond to get me in my unit . Later she transferred me to smaller unit and saved me money in numerous ways where it could have easily been missed. She always has a smile and genuine care she gives. Outstanding!

If I could leave zero stars I would. There was a rat infestation and I was there to clean out my unit. Instead of closing my account they have sent everything to collections. I paid through the end of the month even though I didn’t use it. Left my unit unlocked as requested and didn’t ask for any money back. Just that they simply dispose of the items effected by the rats.

Tiffany was phenomenal! Polite, understanding and showed genuine interest in serving her customers.

Angela is the person to talk to when it comes to getting the right storage unit. She was so much help and I am now in the best spot with all the space I need. Thanks Public Storage, and thank you Angela for the best service.

I don’t know who is running this store but they need to be FIRED! I was waiting a hour and 15 min for the property manager to show up to get my keys for my lock since the company changed mine out due to switching doors. As I’m waiting and calling another store turns out she was on property the whole time in a black suv with her boyfriend. She seen us walk up to the door pull on it and she drove to the back of the property. She then came back and still seen us there for her to once again go back to the back.. finally she had the dude drop her off in front of the door… very very unprofessional. I don’t recommend anyone to rent here.

Absolutely horrible. Can never get into our units... manager is never there... we leave messages and never get calls back .. asked for management to return calls with no luck

I met Heather from the the Trinity and Precinct location, she was very kind. However the Airport location in Richland Hills was more convenient, the manager Angela has been amazing with my rental at that location. I love the fact that the location was clean inside and out. Great customer service.

This location is one of the best Public Storages I have been to. Angela was so helpful and answered all my questions. Thank you for the awesome service!

Myself and family members have used public storage several different times over the years and I have always had a great experience. UNTIL I used the one at 7601 Airport Fwy Richland Hills, TX 76118 customer service is awful , they are rude, they rip you off!!!! I literally had my storage for 2 days and on the 1st was charged a prorate amount 21-31 they have my keys and their 20 rip off lock that you can only use there! I give zero stars and will never being using public storage again or referring my clients to them!!!

Had to get a storage due to unexpected circumstances those extremely stressed out over everything and Angela one of the staff members there did a tremendous job making everything so easy definitely would continue to use them
