If I could give this a zero star I would , I had done an online rental for the 27th of August and when I got to my storage unit it was disgusting. There was rat poop and feces all over the unit, the office was closed and couldn’t do anything that night. I had no choice to leave my stuff in the storage since I had to leave out of town and had to drop the uhaul I had rented . When I went to the office the next day and complained they gave me a corporate number and when I called they told me I would get a call back from someone 24-48hrs . Well it’s been more than 4 days and no call back. I had called earlier today and they said the only thing they can do is give me a $25 credit for the inconvenience. Im just so disappointed and frustrated with this storage unit. The lady over the phone suggested i would get some wrapping paper so the rats don’t eat through my furniture, like if she knew that this was a problem. The wrapping paper is $30 plus and I have all my bedroom set in there. I would need like 3 of them that’s 90$ .I cam’t move my stuff out because I had surgery and plus I don’t have the time to rent another uhaul to move to another facility.

I then called back, there was no answer. She did call me right back however she was very rude & condescending. I asked her for her name & she refused to provide me her name. Inside units aren't waterproof. Had rats and frogs inside my unit. Damage over 5k worth of winter clothes and over 10k of damage in tools. They were concerned about me removing my things rather than actually compensating me for my damages. I was paying $160 a month.

Natalie was amazing! I’ve been having problems paying for my unit rent for two months now and no one called me back to fix the problem. I came into the office and Natalie fixed the problem in less than 20 min😭 This is the only location I’ll be coming to from now on.
It's 2 ladies that work here, Amber in particular is who I dealt with SHE IS AN ANGEL! She put me in the right sized unit for my rhings(I thought they all were the same) and she walked me through EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO DO! She wasn't bothered like some people act on their job! And today I met her co worker, I can't remember her name BUT SHES A SWEETHEART TOO!

I store at public storage on military and came.to Sorrento and ms Natalie helped me so much wih fees.
The place was great at first. Unfortunately a month later rats were in my things and roaches. So I had to throw my bed away and more. Rat pee and poop everywhere! They moved me into another unit and the rest of my belongings got rained on somehow and ants began to pile up inside. I started with almost a full storage and ended up with almost nothing left my wife cried for weeks. A lot of precious memories and stuff we can never get back.

I would agree it was easy to get the storage but this location is f’d up. I got my storage then my car just died there i ask the lady that works there if i could leave it here i have a storage here but i have to move all my stuff today lease is up i was told yes. I go up next day and changed spark plugs didnt start so went to store for another part come back and my car was towed to these theifs called sure storage. Its $320 i dont have all my clothes and tools for work in there and i cant even get my car out unless i pay for a tow truck company to get my car out. But i was given permission they seen me working on it with a friend and now im screwed probably lose my job bc i cant get to work.

Hanging up the phone aggressively and at that calling a customer on speakerphone, is outrageous. For privacy a call between a customer and business entity should never be on speakerphone. Then getting an attitude because I couldn't hear nor understand your question. So I called back multiple times to let you know about yourself as I should. Get your mind right dummy. I had a great experience here the day I went in. Not only was the service great, the gentleman and woman that helped us were great. They were the ones that made the experience good.
The man answered all the questions my coworker and I had and he even walked us out to the unit when we asked to see it. He gave us the details of the contract and how the lock operates.
I like that I was able to pay with tap on my phone and they gave us a code to open the gate right from our phones-- that is a nice feature 👌

We have used this Mesquite Public Storage for many years. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Went in today to rent a larger unit and Natalie made the process quick and easy.
Staff is kind and helpful until you're a day late paying rent.Then phone calls begin over and over insisting it is imperative you call or pay. If you call explaining when you will pay but car trouble took the cash--no call is returned. Locks are cut the 21st of the month that you haven't paid on time and an auction is scheduled. Very strict and uninterested in your situation even after years of paying rent

If I could give zero ⭐️I would!!! For months I have been trying to get the light replaced inside of my ACTUAL UNIT AND NOBODY DOES ANYTHING!!! They make you do their job but they expect payment on time every month and are not providing all services needed!!!! I had rodents eat through my boxes and leave droppings everywhere!!! They wanted me to do their job and contact customer service to place the order to have the light replaced, I have not been able to access my items for months because of this and nobody at this location cares this is very annoying and unprofessional. As soon as I find another company I’m removing my items! Then let’s not forget they changed all of the entry codes on the doors to access the storage and NEVER SENT NOTICE OR A CODE SO ONCE I GOT IN THE GATE I STILL COULDN’T ACCESS MY FREAKING STORAGE!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!! Do better!

1st day here and am already making arrangements to leave.
Despite signage, advertising, etc stating carts available, there are none. If you rent beforehand with the expectation of carts, be prepared to be told by manager who refused to provide a name,to carry all your items to the third floor..
She is extremely rude, stating over and over again that she did not care about our issues, even while I was on the phone with a person from corporate who heard it all.
If they cannot prevent their own carts from being stolen, how should people feel about their belongings? If the manager literally states she does not care about client issues, how can she be trusted to care for their items? She would not even provide a name for a complaint which as a manager is quite cowardly. People are not afraid to leave their name on quality work/service and the failure to do so is acknowledgment that the treatment of the customer does not meet even a basic standard.

It's good as far as climate controlled storage goes. The woman in the office is great too. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that there are no carts or dollies that you can borrow to make your move easier. After searching online for a place close to me that was within my price range, I chose them because it states that they have both carts and dollies that you are able to check out to help. 🙄 Well, they do not have any. They said that they did have some but they've all been stolen and they haven't replaced them yet. She wasn't sure when that would happen. I am thankful for the elevator and the fact that my door is only 3 doors down from it. It is a good facility putting the carts aside.

This was absolutely the worst experience ever my storage unit was broken into and when I reported it I was told that they couldn't do anything about it but put in a work order so my storage unit door was left wide open for days for anyone to come in and get the rest of my belongings I ended up losing all of my deceased sons things because they was stolen and I was still expected to pay for that storage unit

My stay here has been..... fairly problematic. The price you START with is VERY temporary. Then recently, the facility FLOODED due to a pipe burst that NOBODY WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR even though I've since learned this is a recently repeating event. The way we were notified about this was very disappointing & shocking. Coordinating a move to a different "lesser" unit, communicating with staff, even compensation for losing MUCH of my belongings despite being insured, has been difficult to say the least. Do I recommend? ABSOLUTELY NOT. AS SOON as I'm in the position to vacate storage completely, I WILL NOT hesitate. I know storage facilities are sometimes necessary, just... choose wisely.
One of the worst locations in the country. Staff in site are friendly however rarely someone in the office unless when it opens. Instead one person in the office for guests and customers who need help in the office they are all outside riding on the cart checking whatever. Two have to leave early in the morning to go to the bank instead one person go and one stay onsite to assist customers. There’s lots of pass the blame “oh it’s the Fire Dept or it’s it the City of Mesquite that caused this mess.” Instead of repairing and fixing pipes etc in advance to avoid problems. Several units were flooded (twice) the 2 time the entire 1st floor inside the storages were all damages. They need to shut down. Lied on the City of Mesquite saying the caused a pipe under PS building to burst. No no no not true I went and did my own investigation and got in written writing that it was not the City it was PS. They want people to give up and not pursue any lawsuits so they play the blame game it’s the City and that’s not true.
Originally I’d given a 5 star review but I come to find out no one really really cared about my concern especially the owner!! I moved out months back but the reason I’m so upset is because at the time of my move out unfortunately we had the snow storm. I literally was out in the snow rushing my life driving and move things out of my storage. I completely moved everything out and had a mattress and dresser that I was told I could leave outside the storage and just come back. Again my storage was completely empty but I had to find someone who was willing to help me move in the snow. Originally I had help but no one was willing to rush their lives hauling large items in the snow storm. With all that being said I was billed again and I had no items inside the storage unit. I spoke to someone several times and even called customer service but the issue was never resolved. Sad thing is it’s like pulling teeth trying to contact the owner or anyone who has control.
I had a AC storage unit here for almost 10 years. A flood forced everyone on the first floor to evacuate their items. The accommodation was horrendous. I was told there would be movers to help move my items to a different unit. That was not the case. I was told that I would get a FULL refund for that month’s rent. A lie. I will be getting it though. AND I was to be relocated to the second floor to a smaller unit. The unit had two separated posts in the middle that would have hindered me from having a full 10x10 unit. Was the unit offered at a discounted price for my inconvenience. No? Despite the constant increase in monthly rates, I have had minimal issues over the course of me renting space here. If you have an AC controlled unit, know that the AC circulation isn’t great. If it’s warm in the hallways, it’s warm in your unit too. The flood situation could have been handled better and with grace. It was poorly managed and a complete pain. Management (Emily) does NOT return phone calls nor entertain complaints. I only gave 2 stars because the staff are sweet, and did their best to accommodate everyone dealing with the flood. Moved my items to another facility and won’t ever consider Public Storage again.
Hi. I'm a current storage until holder. This place is horrible! I've had several units at different locations with different companies and this location is one of the worst! The staff are very unfriendly and very non useful when it comes to assisting with any concerns. They never ever answer the phone. I would definitely not recommend this place at all. Everything from the gates to the doors are always not working.

This is the 5th time I’ve visited my climate controlled storage unit and it has been extremely hot. Also, there was a flood yesterday causing multiple people things to be ruined, my unit didn’t flood thank goodness. I talked to one couple and they said this is the 2nd time this has happened smh. It’s hard to get someone on the phone and when I visit (which is not that often) no one is ever in the office and you have to wait 20 minutes for someone to come.
I wish they stayed open past 9 pm but other than that I'm happy
I went today in search of a larger unit since I have a smaller one already and ended up getting a second small unit. Not the outcome I was hoping for however, Natalie made the experience much more tolerable. Girl can multitask! She helped me get everything sorted out and let me know that she would call me when something bigger opens up. I have never had a bad experience in the almost 8 years I have used Public Storage. Highly recommend!
I'm updating this review because I was able to get my issue resolved by Emily the district manager of this location. Emily was very professional and helpful to clear the misunderstanding. I do like the location and the safety of this storage unit. The only feedback I can provide is better communication with customers to clear any issues without having to escalate. Other than that I'm grateful that things worked out at the end.
The ladies at this location were very friendly and helpful. The service was very quick. I’m glad I didn’t order online and went inside because they helped me get exactly what I needed. Natalie was very knowledgeable, precise and had a very great attitude.
Natalie was great! She helped me vacate my unit smoothly without a hassle. If I ever need another storage unit, i’d definitely come back here!

I really love the two ladies that work at this location. They've made sure things have been smooth from my very first day. They always speak and I always see them bussing their butts getting things handled whether it's dealing with us customers, cleaning grounds, or helping in the facility. Great job

I did rent storage here at this public storage for about two years. I had a couple of incidents happen to my storage from outside Vandals, the employees took all precautions when notice that my storage has been broken into they called and had my door repair, relocked with their personal locks and notified me as soon as possible. Thank God I did not lose anything of importance, but an electric razor my grandson got for Christmas. The storage manager took great care of me and up the security. Because they really do care about their customers. The only thing I don't like is that the rent does go up every 3 months.

The only thing that is not good is for a year now have been requesting a light bulb and they can not change it. I am not able to see at all it is dark. . A little light during the day but overall it is dark and my rates continually increase I started at 84 per month and now its 123 but they can not fix the lighting however I get to pay more..with each increase..I expect a new light bulb but it is not happening

I was downloading a trailer and needed to get a cart from the office. There wasn't anyone there at the opening time. I came back to look for help and an employee was leaving. They saw me and continued to put in the gate code to leave and drove away. There wasn't anyone else there. Added at least an hour and a half to my download in 100+ degree heat.
This particular location needs to be acknowledged for The Best Customer Service I could have ever hoped for! I spoke with a lovely lady named Natalie, and she went way above and beyond to see to it that I got in a unit that was specific to my needs! She , without me even having to ask, took it upon herself to do all the searching and tho it only took her 2 minutes, it would have taken me so much longer and I am so very grateful for you Ms Natalie! You are fantastic and lovely to speak with, and you have set the bar for outstanding customer service! Truly the best experience I've ever encountered!!

No one Pic up the phone so can pay your bill on time I was out of town working I was going pay my bill I call up there to pay it on the first day of month and they sold my stuff on the 25th I hope they go out out business they rub people when they can and make money off you anyway they can I'm going to tel people to stay away every time I can if you're smart stay away trust me your stuff will be sold if they can get by with it please stay away from this company it's not worth losing your stuff you work for and stuff can not be replaced from family that has passed away
