Moving day is often stressful and chaotic, but my experience at the Public Storage location on 8939 E. RL Thornton Freeway in Dallas was the exact opposite. From the moment I walked through the doors, Liz, the property manager, greeted me with kindness and a calm demeanor that immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and handled all of my concerns with care.
In a world that can feel overwhelming, Liz’s exceptional service stood out. She was organized, efficient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend this location, not just because of the great facility, but because of the outstanding customer service provided by Liz. Her dedication and professionalism truly make this Public Storage location a standout.

Beware!! They've never done anything to improve this place yet they raise your rent every 6 months! I've had to call and argue about this over the last three years! This time they raised it by $45 for no particular reason! We are finally done. We will be moving our things at the end of the month. It is not worth it at all!

Clean, conveniently located and easy to access unassisted! I’ve rented here before several years ago and I don’t recall having a problem back then either.
EDIT: I visited my storage on 8/31/24 and there were ants all in my clothes and other boxes and my furniture. I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t even know what to do about it, spraying isn’t going to help nor do I want spray in my clothes and furniture. I may have to buy some kind of powder to sprinkle around. I’m ANNOYED.

They will go up on your rent. The Lady in the office I can't stand. They will call you send emails after emails and texts if you late talking bout late fees and adding more money to get possession of your things. Will charge you if you put trash in the Dumpster there. Just a big mess there. Will put a lock on your unit if you haven't paid by a certain day. Calling my phone talking bout eviction, got to the end of this month to be out. She could hv kept that phone call because we was moving the remainof our things Sunday. getting our things out they was not getting another dime from us. Charging $75 because my husband put something in the Dumpster. Worst storage ever. $194 for a 10×10 is what they went up on us.

Great property Pam the manager helped with everything I needed and escorted me thru property and was very helpful. Very clean and well managed!
Worst storage ever, management does not keep up repairs and maintenance on the units! Gasket on the door was rotten, causing dirt to get into the storage from the street and ruin everything! Rats had come into the unit and ate the furniture. And no I had no food in my unit, the ceiling was caved in from water! All I got was “sorry about that, you still need to pay a full month rent if you move out on the Third.”
Pamela was super helpful!!! I didn’t end up needing the unit after all but she was really friendly and made the process so easy!

I used public storage for over three years in a cliimicc control unit the largest one that they had found when I got some of my furniture that was stored in that unit had been damaged. I’ve tried to to get resolution to this but they have yet to call me back to help get this issue resolved. I was told that that insurance company Orange do was the insurance company assigned to this claim and that insurance company has been really rude with me from beginning when I removed my items and notified some of my furniture was damaged they told me that I wasn’t going to get but 250 dollars For my furniture because I wasn’t about to show pictures of the unit after I departed. However did take pictures because I did Jane a need because I didn’t notice any damage until I go home snd untapped the leaders three piece leather and removed my California king mattress and box mattress out of box. What has me so upset is the running around that I’ve began going through trying to resolve this issue with public storage calling back and orange doors questioning my charity about trying to get my furniture replaced not insult me worn paying me only $250 dollars for the claim and I’ve paid for three years over $400 dollars average a month to keep house hold items there while I get my home built to move in. I know this process has been a big scam. I will never use public storage again. Brenda

This public storage facility was wonderful. Gates were always closed and locked , definitely felt like my belongings were safe, and the staff, specifically Pam was always very helpful. Will use them again if ever in need storage.
Cheap service is great.I am back with Mandy and staff 4 yrs ago in 2016 and 2020 great service. I paid for a lock and it wasn't there even after 3 days they replace for free. I love this location.

I came in the store the other day to purchase some moving supplies and the representative that helped ended up being the manager. Her name was Stacy and she was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all ofof our questions. She even tried offering us a storage unit and if we were in need of one we would of got one because of her. We were sad to hear that she will no longer be there after the 31st of this month. We gave her our personal number to let know where she goes so that way we can contiune to get supplies from her when needed. If you stop by before the end of the month then if you want great customer service then ask for Stacy.

I called the customer service line and that person told me that this facility only had one available unit for 400 plus dollars at the time Stacey was on property she came back I asked her how many units were available and she offered me seven units because of her I was able to afford my unit at the location where was most convenient for me I give her five stars
