I was here not that long ago and Cindy was exceptional. I came to pick some my staff and she was very sweet and professional. I made a payment at 650 Bay Area Blvd Public Storage and the payment process was easy , not complicated, Cindy went the extra mile by accepting a $35 payment with the permission of store manager approval, because this location does not accept cash payments. Cindy was friendly & processed the payment promptly. I left this Public Storage location feeling like I had a good community customer service day with Cindy processing my payment for my unit space. I salute you Cindy your making a difference in the community, excellent customer service skills.

The staff at Public Storage, Lisa the manager specifically, took great care of us while we rented a unit. She was easy to work with regarding payments and any other concerns we had. If looking for a storage unit, I would recommend renting from Public Storage located off NASA Pkwy.

We used this place for about a year when we were selling our home and moving. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms stayed clean and stocked. The elevators were big and worked. They had carts for use. The entranced are covered and allowed for tall truck to pass under. Good spot for storing your stuff.

I feel safe when she and her coworker are there and then I can take my time and accomplish the things I want to do while there. It’s a nice feeling that someone is always watching your back. I had a unit here through Hurricane Harvey and everything was high and dry and perfectly fine when I came back to check on it! I wrote the review above, 5 years ago and every single thing still remains true to this day!!! I have to say this is largely due to one particular staff member, Property Manager Jennifer Casey. She has been here as long as I have been renting my unit here and she has consistently maintained one of the most professional, enthusiastic, and genuinely heart warming attitudes and work ethics that I have ever seen in an individual . Every month I look forward to coming in the office and visiting with her as she is such a joy! It would be a huge blunder and mistake to lose such a valuable and knowledgeable employee such as her. She truly is a strong and important asset to your company!
Jennifer is the most accommodating manager that I’ve come across in a very long time. She takes care of all of your needs. I would give her five stars and recommend this facility to anybody. Don’t let this star employee go! She is awesome!
David was the absolute best. He assisted us in getting gate information, location of unit and where to park. We felt like we have known him forever. Thank you David for everything in getting us situated with our unit.

David went the extra mile to help me find the best solution when I needed additional storage space. Instead of getting an additional storage unit, David suggested up-sizing from a 5x10 to a 10x10, which meant moving from one unit to another, but it was a much less expensive option both for my monthly payment, and for initial fees, and allowed for more room to manipulate my large furniture. He's been great in making sure everything went well for the transfer, and was there in a few minutes to help when one of the main entrance sliding doors jammed.
Big thanks to David...friendly, courteous, and helpful.

We got our storage unit a couple weeks ago and when we came in Ms. Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She was kind and accommodating. (Especially with our three wild children) She made me feel safe leaving my belongings here. Today when we went to drop off more belongings we were approached by a young gentleman named David. He was so kind and sweet. He asked if we needed anything and informed us the trolly we needed was being used and would be available shortly. He was extremely helpful and it just felt like he cared. Having David approach us asking if we needed anything after already having great customer service with Jennifer makes you realize that simply safe storage does an excellent job in all areas. Her absolutely fantastic personality, sense of work pride and phenomenal customer service is why we have been doing business there since 2017! 5 Stars, Reason? Mgr. Jennifer Casey, 1 of VERY BEST Customer Service persons I’ve Ever met & I was in the field for decades. I’ve rented a unit 5 ½ yrs.; like my 1st fl./10x20 unit, clean, well-kept facility; covered entrances; how SAFE I feel, especially @ nite. It’s gotten Expensive for an old woman living on S.S. (I’ve actually had offer 2 move elsewhere @ ½ the price But I stayed Ms. Casey’s business savvy/personable service. And on 12/22, after the Freeze, I observed Ms. Casey @ her Absolute Best! I arrived @ back entrance, noticed a pipe attached to overhead covering Gushing Water. As a former Facilities assist./Safety officer @ NASA 15 yrs.) I called the office/Ms. Casey (on her lunch break). She came Immediately, assessed situation. As we walked back 2 the office passing the elevators, she noticed side entrance overhead cover was Pouring Down Water like a Hard Rain Storm! She zoomed 2 office, called Fire Dept. & rushed 2 assess if there were leaks inside entire bldg., Twice! I know, I was w/ her 2c if she needed assistance. She was anxious but handled All Flawlessly! THEN, as I was exiting, I heard squealing from generator in back! It had NOT been squealing earlier! Again, she immediately accessed & worked ‘til she stopped the squealing! She's Dedicated, Resourceful! 5 STARS!
0 stars---This place is terrible. They WILL sell your unit without properly notifying you even when you have a pending legal action against them. Manager is good but can't do anything to help anyone, only the rude district manager can and reaching him is like pulling teeth. Asst manager is rude and the place just raises prices every couple months, way over market rate. I was a customer there for 6 years and they act like you don't matter. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere if you value your property or money.
Horrible....greedy. asst mgr is rude. refuse to work with people at all when you're on hard times. Would rather sell your stuff for 100 bucks than take 500 payment from you. Avoid this place if you want to keep your stuff or your sanity.

I went to cancel my service because they raced the prices, and the person there told me if i took a picture of the empty storage, i said not, i wasn't told i needed to do that. I was just told to empty it. She wanted me to go do it. I'm sorry but i don't work there, she needs to get off that chair and do her job. Other than that the storage is fine..

First star is for the first year they opened, no problems. Second star is for cleanliness. Do not rent here. It’s not even worth the hassle anymore. They only enforce policies when they want too. They charge you for their errors and then there’s a possibility of losing your items for it. I’ve been waiting to get the issue resolved per 48hrs like the site manager stated but no one has called back. Moving my items because I can’t afford for a company to take advantage and steal my money on their behalf
*Edit* It’s been 3 weeks and no resolution. I’ve spoken with Jennifer too many times to count but never upper management. Thank you for further showing your business’ true values and professionalism. My decision to move out of my unit and not give another dime to this facility was the best one.

Awful experience with the man that works here and repeatedly calls claiming unit was left dirty when it wS cleared at twice after other tenants shamelessly left their garbage in the empty unit that we gave notice to vacate with ample time. I was pro rated $13 for a day of
trash because it wasn't clean when their office closed @6... facility locks at 10. Absurd and ridiculous

Ms. Jennifer is amazing. I reviewed several storage facilities in the area to include the extra space next door which was no where near as clean and well maintained as simply self storage. Jennifer was very helpful with educating me on the facilities amenities, she gave me the full tour along with background information on the building and the immediate area. I felt as if this was the safest, cleanest and best place to store my belongings.
Simply Self-Storage are rip-offs. I had to get information from a very confused manager because their district manager cannot explain their system of charges sufficient enough to understand by her. I have been with them since 2019 and I have paid for overcharges, late fees, and rising rates and confusing these charges with my storage units. I have paid more each month for the last six months and I cannot get a clear answer as of yet because the storage manager cannot get a clear explanation enough for the storage manager to understand why I'm being charged more and more each month as we go on so that she can explain it to me. As of now, I do not know how much to pay for this month because it has not been given to her. It is late now, with late charges. The storage manager has expressed to the district manager that I wanted to talk to him either in person or over the phone about the charges and he has NOT contacted me AT ALL as of yet. Still waiting!!

That was 2 years ago, a lot , has changed, well not a lot. One thing: One of the girls left to have her own store, very proud of her. I went in 3 days ago, and there was a young man wkg the desk, we will call him "Gilbert" he was the worst customer service person I had EVER dealt with. NO PERSONALITY what so ever, no eye contact, so slow showing me a unit, a turtle moves faster. He was like watching paint dry, that would have been more enjoyable. He had no knowledge of the area let alone the property. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I actually left there to go to another facility, and rent elsewhere. But they were closed. I decided to stay here because of the manager. She is still the best. She will do everything w in her power to accommodate you. But if you go in and only see "Gilbert" ok, David. Leave! RUN! Come back when she is there. Been here forever and still love it! Just not him!!

I really enjoyed my experience renting a storage unit from them while I was finding a house. The customer service is amazing. The facility is clean and taken care of. Moving is always such a headache but their process is so simple and seamless that it really helped out. My parents were impressed as well and are planning on renting a unit from them when they redo their home. I don't have a single complaint and would definitely use them again!
