Houston Climate Controlled Storage Near State Highway 6
Self storage in Houston is just west of State Highway 6, about 5 miles north of I-10. Plenty of climate controlled storage units and outdoor storage with convenient drive-up access are available on-site.
A 5x10 storage unit will hold all the gear you'd use for fun activities at nearby Bear Creek Pioneers Park, including racquet sports, bats and softballs, fishing tackle, horseshoes and saddles.
If you've been meaning to clear out the garage to get your cars inside, a 5x15 storage unit may be a good bet. The size of a large walk-in closet, the equivalent of two rooms of furnishings can be packed in.

Definitely appreciate the customer service overall and very clean space
Secured a unit at this location, but hit a snag online trying to pay, so I went there for in-person help and "Sam" helped me. WOW!!!
Sam is personable, articulate and EFFICIENT!!! She got me set up super fast because she really knows her job. When I would go to my unit, I'd see her out and about, cleaning and checking on things. This made me feel secure & comfortable to have my things there. She's a very bright young lady and I hope Public Storage values how well she represents them. They're lucky to have her, and I would certainly recommend this location based on my experience.

I am only still at this location because of Sam - she has helped me so much. After, finding out about an increase of monthly payments - I am able to keep my same monthly payment at least for the next 6 months. Thank you for going the extra mile Sam - YOU ARE THE BEST!!

Do not store your items here. I’m paying for an air conditioned unit inside and all my things were ruined with mold. I went to the front office to notify the staff and they lied to me about what insurance covers. Also my rate unexpectedly increased. Do not use orange door insurance. I had to throw out really expensive furniture and insurance covers $250 for mold with a $100 deductible…
Received a call from their corporate office indicating that they will address my issue. Bingo, their efforts paid off and I am very pleased with their response. Good for them.

Absolutely horrible company to work with. They quoted me a price I drove all the way down here and then they try to jack up the rate. I tried to talk to a manager. I was hung up one disrespected and said we don't care. Not sure what kind of business you run but this is absolutely unacceptable and horrible the way that you treat your clients. False advertisement

Minutes after they opened. The lady working was Sam, she was so nice, and very, very helpful. Perfect customer service. I asked a lot of questions, and she answered everyone with a smile.

If you buy a unit through them they offer to buy their lock and I assumed it was a part of the unit. So do many other customers apparently according to the manager there. I don't understand why they don't make this more clear in the email or the app when you choose the move out date. It's infuriating. I know other people buy their own locks so I assumed it was just a second lock for extra security. Since the lock from their unit goes inside the hole of the unit. All the units have the hole. I have rented there for over a year. Safe to say I will not ever be a returning customer to Public Storage and not reccomend them to anyone. I basically payed for a month for free with my stuff gone before the move out date. The manager was not forgiving either. It seems they make it vague on purpose to take advantage of customers and get more money. No courtesy calls either about move out policies either or explaining it better.

I had great experience renting a public storage unit at this facility. Ms.Tina and her staff are pretty cool. The facility is very clean modern, and an up to date storage facility. I was able to get a nice climate control rental space for a good rate , base on that area of town. Thank you guys for your great customer service.
Elevator never works, it’s impossible to move from second floor without it.
Smells like a dead body stored inside and when I complained about the elevator they brushed my concerns off.
There are much better places that public storage !

I walked into the business and didn’t really understand what to do bc I never deal with storages . Devin was very helpful in explaining and leading me and my wife in the right direction, I really appreciate him and how calm he was and helpful bc I could sometimes bc difficult , he was very professional in every way possible

If I could give an employee individual ratings I would give Ben a 0. At first I was just looking for availability as I need a storage unit by this week and also wanted to know price ranges. Well Ben was great in the beginning but then when I said I’d keep looking he insisted he would look at other places after I said it was too far for me and he said if it’s the price then I can see if we can find cheaper one but if you desperately want to get of the phone is up to you and at this point I was like wait what? He then started to chuckle in the middle of his sentences while giving attitude and I let him know that after that phone experience I would not get service there or recommend anyone to because being laughed at over the phone for wanting information is something no one should experience, and I usually don’t leave reviews at places but Ben really made me feel horrible. To top it off at the end he did laugh and said well thank you for calling public storage I guess. Ugly character but I know we are human. Best of luck to public storage for hiring him.
