I originally rated higher when I got a good deal on a larger storage and there was a manager available on site every day; however, they quickly raised my rate and then took away our manager and made this a kiosk site. No daily manager. The new manager runs several facilities and isn't always on site. Why this matters: About 10 days ago, there was an A/C leak which affected my unit, but the leak wasn't detected right away, since the manager was not on site when it happened. I lost about 8 boxes of belongings and had to partially move out. The unit was wet and I had to clean up standing water and buy tubs of damp rid. The A/C had to be shut off over the weekend, and therefore it was hot and muggy in the building. The A/C wasn't " fixed" for over a week, and then leaked into my unit again! I spent about $100 on cleaning supplies and had another mess to clean up. Now there's another leak on the 3rd floor. A/ C continues to be off for the third week in a row, and the building is incredibly hot and muggy. Mildew and/ or mold is beginning to grow. Since I need climate control, I am moving out tomorrow to another facility. All together, with movers, new unit and cleaning supplies/ damp rid, I am out $1,030. They will not even comp me the rest of the month!! The only plus is the manager, Nick is super nice, but his hands are tied by the upper management who haven't reached out to take any responsibility for this, or to reimburse any fees!! Terrible!! I would not rent from this company again!!!! Run!!

Facility is in amazing condition, always clean, and safe. While on site meet Nick S. multiple times always friendly, and hard at work.

Three is one employee named Nick that works at his location that goes above and beyond to give you the best sugestions and unit that fits you for your storage needs. This is why I fell comfortable leaving my personal stuff here. I know it will be safe and I can get some sleep knowing my property is on good hands. Thanks Nick.

Nice clean indoor units.

First off, this space is not temperature controlled. I tried calling multiple times about it, and no one would ever answer. Then they raised my rent $60 a month after I had only been there a few months. Then I moved out on August 30 and they still charged my card! Now I conveniently can't get ahold of anyone to get that refund. This place is a nightmare. Go anywhere else.

So I originally gave this place a 1 star. I changed it to a 2 because the District Manager contacted me about the rating with questions about my 1 star review. I told him what happened and I asked him for a refund of some funds. He politely agreed and told me the refund will be in the mail and I should see it in about 10ish days. I told him once I received the check in the mail, I would change my rating because of his willingness to work with us on the issues at the property we rented at. Just 3 days later, on a Sunday, I get a call as I am literally making lunch for my family; from the person in charge at the problem location asking me to change my rating right then or even soon after we hang up. First of all, you earn a rating. Second, don't call me on a weekend asking me to help you when you haven't helped me at all during my (times) of need at your location. Completely rude to use a phone that your employees never answer, to call me and request a google review change on a Sunday afternoon. This world may not care for Sunday's anymore but at my house, it is 1st for Yeshua Jesus, then Family...not rushing to the nearest computer or smart phone to fix a google review that you've earned. Be more customer minded and you might figure out how to avoid low ratings in the future.

I have had my unit at this location for almost four years. Cindy was the first person that I spoke to and met at this location, and she is amazing!! She always returns my calls if she is unable to answer the phone because she is helping another customer. She always calls me to remind me that my payment is due or past due. I really appreciate that. If I could give her ten stars I would!!!

Cindy is so nice and patient i called with a load of questions about a unit and she took her time and explained everything. if you are looking to rent a storage i would definitely recommend you give Cindy a visit

I'm adding to my original comment below, as I recently moved out of my unit and had the pleasure of dealing with one of the kindest and most attentive customer service representatives ever -- Cindy, the current manager at this location. She has a good heart for helping people and she made my move-out as easy as it could be. I moved out the day my rent was due and she voluntarily called someone in the corporate office to ask them not to bill me for the upcoming month. I don't know if PS corporate has improved their billing transparency for new customers, which I noted below (4 years ago), but they have done a good job of hiring outstanding managers for this location. Thanks, Cindy! ******** I have serious misgivings about Public Storage's business practices: be aware that the unit you reserve might not be climate-controlled; when you arrive the location, you will be assessed additional charges not mentioned by the reservation web site or sales rep (I consider this flagrantly deceptive); and Public storage may or may not provide dollies or carts for transporting your stuff from vehicle to locker (fortunately, this location had 2 available "as a courtesy" -- but I advise you check to verify they have these before you show up). That said, Krista was extraordinarily helpful and she did a great job of easing the pain of learning how Public Storage conducts business. Initially, I was inclined to leave and look for a locally-owned storage business, but Krista's friendliness won me over. My 5 stars are mainly for Krista. Other pros: the units are clean and the A/C works well in the climate-controlled section. Access is not provided 24 hours -- check to verify the hours.

Sometimes it’s hard to find an employee when you need them, they have 1 person running 2 facilities. Also the AC system in my supposed environmentally controlled unit isn’t working.

Cindy was fantastic! We rented for 3 months while moving from Houston to Tyler and she went above and beyond every time we had to change things up. From getting a first unit that was too small, moving to a bigger one, then realizing we did actually need another small unit, she took great care of us! I was just going along for the ride

We went to public storage last week on January 7th and we were assisted by the nicest lady named Cindy and she was the friendliest person! We needed help picking some boxes for our house remodeling and did not know where to start. She advised us on the sizes and type of boxes we needed and they ended up being perfect! We could not have asked for better service. Thank you Cindy for your help! Simple and clean facility, easy access from 528, wide open parking right next to door, and carts always available near elevators. Cindy takes pride in her facility, as others have noted. Easy recommendation.

Was very impressed with the girl that assisted me. She was friendly & answered my every concern. I hope you appreciate having an employee like Cindy. In a world filled with so much uncertainty how fortunate to have someone so competent. Please give this girl a raise !
