Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1015 Henderson St, Fort Worth, TX

I just wanted to take the time and Reconize Tina from 1015 Henderson st in downtown Ft Worth. She was as friendly as she was helpful. I have interacted with many Public Storage employees in multiple locations, and Tina was by far the most pleasant. While all my interactions were good with others. Tina's positive attitude and kind heart goes unmatched. Thank you Tina.

Great storage location in downtown Fort Worth. Friendly employees at the counter. Never had an issue with our storage garage and price is competitive.

I was extremely satisfied with a specific worker and her actions on dealing with my payments. ARACELI works for store 27611 but happened to be at the store on Henderson. She took her time to go over every detail of my situation and was extremely polite and knowledgeable of my problem. She checked on me after, by calling me, to make sure things were solved on my side. It would nice if she was a permanent worker on my location. You need more people like her on board. She is hard to find.

I went out of country for a few months and needed a place to store my stuff. This was my first time using a storage service like this. Everything was self service and very efficient. The location also has a few large carts on site that’s really helpful. The unit was climate controlled as advertised and all my stuff was in perfect condition. No complaints and I would highly recommend this location!

Had a unit at this location for a couple of years. Very convenient location and all the units are secure and in an air conditioned facility! Tina is wonderful and even helped me load an awkward rug into my car when she saw I was going to by myself!

I’ve had a storage space here, on Henderson in Fort Worth Texas, for about two years. It feels safe and clean and I feel safe storing my extra furniture and keepsakes here! Jake, a staff member, exhibited exceptional customer service today - I was struggling with Too many boxes on a two tiny cart and I kept spilling the whole thing of boxes onto the floor and I was struggling greatly to get into the elevator and to my car. All of a sudden, the elevator opens and it’s Jake to the rescue. He had one of their large spacious public storage carts ready for me to use. Saved me a lot of time and struggle. Great customer service here!

Update to my update: moving out day is finally here. The elevator breaks. no one is available outside of business hours. Call customer service to get someone out to fix it. They tell me to kick rocks. I asked for someone to call me to at least find out where the stairs are. They tell me I have to wait until someone is at the property. WORST COMPANY to store your stuff with. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Update: found out they also do not prorate when you move out. This place sucks. Original: They raised my rate 55 percent after the first five months. They claim it was a promotional rate that expired. This company will BAIT AND SWITCH you. The best part is it is nearly impossible to speak with anyone who can help you.

Jacob was so helpful, polite, caring, AND knowledgeable. I wanted to rent a unit the other day, but was having so much trouble getting it done online. I called Public Storage and after being shuffled through the system for a few minutes, I was connected to this property's office and Jacob immediately answered the phone with a great attitude. He explained to me what the issue was and suggested that I come to the office so that he could assist me in person. I couldn't go that same day, but I did today and he got me in and out of the office in 10 mins flat. 5 out 5 will recommend this location.

I would rate them a zero, if I could. First problem was I was told that I was renting the barrel lock. Nope. When I moved out was told that there would be no return of the lock(s). Secondly, my contract said that I would need one lock. Nope. Was told after I moved in that I needed to get a second lock for the second door. Really???? In the system it does not show that the space has two doors so you can let the customer know in advance that a second lock will be needed? Please. Then the light was almost burned out in the space from the very beginning and they didn't notice that. I contacted them to make an appointment to get that changed and was told that I needed to bring one of my keys up to them so they could go in and do that. Not going to let some strangers in with my belongings if I am not there. There are no dumpsters or trash cans anywhere. I have never seen a storage facility who did not have these for their customers. They also have the back entrance blocked off, so, good luck in trying to move anything in from a dock. It's not going to happen. They only have two platform dollies available to use. I guess customers should feel lucky to have only two. I kept the space for two months, as the rental amount kept changing each month. The first month, I can see with additional fees. Then the next month went down. Then what I saw that I would have to pay for the third month went up from what I paid for the second month. What???? No explanation on why it went up. All I can say is that after I signed the contract with PS, I heard from a friend that her daughter was already having problems with PS at another location in the area. I will never, ever rent from this company again.

No one is there on site or in office, EVER. The light bulb in the unit has been out for months and they won't replace it. No one to talk to or get help. Won't schedule a specific time to meet me up there to replace the bulb. If I had a long ladder I'd do it myself. They let homeless hang around outside hustling customers non stop. Not enough push carts to go around. The price of the unit has gone up about $30 more every month. Public Storage is buying out all other storage companies so it blows. I'd avoid them like the plague. Also, they close way too early. Should be 24/7.

Property manager called me a “D1ck” on the phone… come on…. No professionalism from this place. Every other storage facility nearby is just as cheap and actually has staff on site when they say they are going to. Don’t waste your money on this place. Nasty inside, bugs, etc.

The employee Clara is mentally unstable. She called me the devil because I expected her to be able to do her job. When she called another location to get help she argued with the employee she asked for help. I did not feel safe she jumped up out of her chair and lunged at me. I have been here for over 3 years but knowing the district manager is completely aware of her behavior and kept her as an employee is completely unacceptable. Another employee heard her calling me names and threatening me and Clara has been allowed to stay as an employee. Very unsafe to deal with her. She needs professional help.

Jacob took a proactive approach to call me with perfect timing to offer to show me the online reservation I just made. He showed me more than onr unit, which lead to my leasing the unit on the spot. Great customer service, thank you!

Jake was so nice and informative. We didn't rent from here, because it was out of our price range (even online). But he found a unit at a different property we could afford and helped us complete our rental online.

I was able to get the same day appointment to store my belongs. Jacob was very helpful and I recommend coming here 1st or even after you been to other storage places.

Jake was so accommodating and professional when I stopped by to ask about the lights in my unit. He made sure to resolve my issue and was able to anticipate further questions that may have come up. It was nice to have a young adult use critical thinking to resolve my issue rather than waste my time on multiple trips to and from my storage unit . Thank you Jake ! Recently I had been looking for a storage facility for my business to start up and even tho u had canceled my agreement the staff was A1 the view was great and the cleanliness was amazing. Needless to say because of the outstanding service I will definitely be looking forward to doing business with them hopefully in the near future. Keep up the great work I'm very impressed.

I would like to say that Tiffany in the office of this location is awesome! We came in 10 minutes to closing and she still took her time to get us to our unit and was so very polite. Showed us tje easiest ways to unload our 20 foot truck and the units are very nice at this location also

Highly recommend using this specific location! Hannah is incredible and truly cares about each and every single customer’s needs. Whether that be moving in or having to change locations after a move, she makes sure the customer is taken care of in a first class manner. I had moved my stuff out a couple months back due to a change of location but didn’t have a chance to to turn in my key so I was still being charged. I called to see what could be done and left a message. She called back later afternoon on a Friday and went the extra mile to make sure I could release the unit & transfer to my new location. Hannah needs a raise!
