Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1001 W Beach Street, Fort Worth, TX

Clean, safe, and a professional front office. Minus a star because 4 months after signing up I got a rent hike. I thought I’d at least have half a year. Also, they don’t have carts available for moving large items, so you’ll have to bring your own cart or dolly.

On line the same unit I rented a few years back is only $175-250 monthly. So WHY am I being charged... $550 monthly? And there's still gaping holes in the back where the corrugated roof is supposed to meet the wall. I've been telling them this for about 5 years now. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. They don't give a damn about your things just $$$$

Very bad customer service , don’t recommend. Very hard to get a hold of somebody when you need them. they do not explain things well. Pay late fees.

This place has to change I been there over almost a year and I got broken into once of course I am gonna pay late and pay 78 dollars it's ridiculous rats and mice come on I had to buy my own things to make sure they don't getin my unit this could of got a five star if there was better communication with the property owner and never answer the phone

This place used to be pretty nice. What happened? Did management change? I went to my storage unit today and noticed homeless/ trespassers living in the aisles of the units. The doors to the vacant units are open, and evidence of them occupying the units. If this continues, i am checking out. There is no telling what you will run into when you open the bay door to your units. Fix it, please.

I've been a customer since 2020 and the rate just keeps increasing i found out recently my rate went up again so I decided to move out. I had a key and when I went to use it it wouldn't work. I went to the office and it was closed, mind you I went at 3pm on a Tuesday and the door says they are open until 6pm. Property manager who lives on property somehow did not show up for work I guess. I called the number on the door, there was no answer, I left a voicemail, no call back. We are now in a new month and rent is now due but I can not get in my unit to vacate and I have called again with no luck of reaching anyone, I left ANOTHER voicemail which Im sure i won't get a call back. The app is not helpful. There is a lot of other issues with this location but i don't have time to go into everything. I just want to get my stuff and be done with this place

DO NOT use this location! all of your belongings will be come the mice's belongings. and everything you put into your unit will become covered in feces and mouse urine. DON"T DO IT!

My unit is infested with rats I have so much stuff in here for my candle business that I literally have to throw away thousands of dollars worth of product Do not rent here. Hard to get in touch with anyone. Horrible customer service.

Very bad rat problem had my stuff in there for a month and my kids toys got tore up and alot of my belongings have rat feces all over them I am very unsatisfied with paying so much for a place that’s supposed to keep my stuff safe and undamaged. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this place to store your stuff.

A lot of my property was ruined by rat urine and feces and we found the carcass when we were emptying as well. It smelled terrible and the area where my unit was the lights never worked. The entire time we worked in the unit we had to use our phones for lights. With the raises in the rent I would have thought there would be some form of pest control.

This entire place smells like urine. This a public service announcement for anyone thinking of storing their personal belongings here- Don do it! They don’t give refunds and they know this place is infested with rats.

Rented a parking spot for an rv online. When we got there, no possible way we could turn the corner to where the spot was at pulling that rv. Nobody could, even if it was just a pop-up. They were supposed to refund our money but its been almost 3 weeks and still dont have the refund.

Extremely disappointed in this location! After collecting our rent we were notified they were going to do renovations and we would need to move out of two large units….. Absolutely no help between sites that were recommended we were actually met with irritation at another location that just didn’t want to even help. I understand needing to update the facilities but this was poorly handled and have left so many customers angry, stressed and out a lot of money trying to vacate.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I moved my items into this unit during the pandemic. I found out that I was paying for a rat infested unit for a year. I told the manager and her response was “they are more scared of you then you are of them. I used to have a rat issue growing up and we used peppermint oil.” She did not apologize at all but gaslighted me. Not only that but my items were also damaged from their sprinkler system. I had to completely handle the situation in my own. I paid for my rat infested storage room for months after finding out because I didn’t have a way to move big items in the unit. The manager told me they were aware of the issue but no one informed me. The office offered no assistance or any type of cleaning service. Not even a simple apology. I was not able to move my items due to financial difficulties so I had to continue to pay. They only covered one month of storage fees and shortly after increased the pricing by $50. They didn’t help me clear out the unit or hire anyone. I was told they “aren’t allowed to touch my items”. Even after I was able to remove the items to assess the damage the manager walked to my unit to tell me everything had to be removed or I would be charged. Yeah, you heard right charged extra because of their disgusting property having a rat infestation. Everything was on me. I had to throw away all of my valuable belongings. The claim process is very slow and is currently still pending after 10 months. All of that to say DO NOT MOVE HERE!! They will not warn you of any issues. I even had someone try to move into the unit next to mine. Once I let her take a look at my fece and urine soaked unit she grabbed her items and left the facility QUICKLY please take my word for it if the pictures don’t tell you enough.

This storage facility is very unprofessional. Our unit was broken into and robbed, and we weren't notified the day of. The receptionist is almost never in the office and has not helped at all with this situation.
