We had been having a heck of a time finding the right storage space for our father’s belongings…. He has dementia and isn’t quite ready to get rid of his belongings. We struggled for weeks looking for the right sized unit for his belongings. We happened to come across Amelia and Elicia at Public Storage…. They were so accommodating and even worked with us through a hurricane to make sure that our family was safe and make sure we still needed the right unit! They called us back several times and we looked at 4 different units…. In the end, they made magic happen and they found the exact size unit we needed for our father! I can’t express how accommodating and pleasant they were to work with…. I mean, we, actually can’t wait to see them every time we come to Public Storage!!! Great Job, Ladies!!!
This location exceeded my expectations. Service started with a reservation before the hurricane. Amelia called daily with updates to showing and property status. She quickly rescheduled my viewing and toured property with me. Elicia and Amelia assisted with paperwork since my Internet was down. I was happy to rent at this location with such pleasant staff!

I went into this store location today because I am new in town and needed somewhere to store some of my things that I currently cannot fit into my new place and Amelia provided me with the upmost service. She went over many different options with me that would be suitable for me, she was patient and made me feel happy to know how secure and safe my belongings would here at public storage!

I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff is! I was not sure about the dimensions of my unit, so the manager was kind enough to take photos of the unit and send them to me.
On move-in day, I had difficulty backing my 26 ft trailer into the unit. Janice was the manager that day, and she took the time to walk the facility with me and we chose an appropriate unit. She then seamlessly transferred my rental to the new unit! I could not be happier with my unit and interaction with the staff!

It's a run-down place with bright paint on the outside.
Originally, when Public Storage took over management of this complex a few months ago, I thought there were improvements to customer service.
Now I see that they lied to me about fixing my door and gave me the run around. Every time I talk to them, I get a new excuse.
All they've done is raise my rent and repainted the outside of my door to match their color scheme. And I find paint chips inside my unit where they pressure washed and blew water into my space.

I've been here through 3 different ownerships and for the large majority of that time I've had no problems with the facility. The employees have all been polite and courteous. I'd recommend anybody that I know to rent from here. And to spread the word... 👍

Amazing how things change in a year. This was initially a 5 star review but new ownership came in a year ago and has destroyed this location. Carts are broken down, sewer drain covers are missing but the biggest thing is that the interior units are no longer climate controlled even though that is how they are sold. When I asked the manager the first time, he told me they had to order a new AC unit. He was not able to provide a reason a month later.

Ann Volkots the manager was amazing. I had issues with the moving company and she stepped in and did everything she could to help me and resolve the issue the other company had created. She also had great follow through by contacting me the next day to share she had spoken with simply self-storage attorneys and shared their advice with me. I feel confident knowing that the client's personal belongings are safe and secure. She deserves recognition for her action as a steward of the company in taking care of the clients by going above and beyond.

Great customer service
They just changed ownership and they are a bit pricey compared to other storage areas in the region. The climate controlled area smells of mildew, yet to see that resolved. I wouldn't put anything leather in there at the present time. Bring your own lock as the ones they provide can possibly be keyed like a adjacent unit (guess how I found that out).
The people that run this place now are awful, nothing like how it was when Storage Choice owned this facility. Not only are they disrespectful, but they will go out of their way to hassle you. I was paid through the 15th of Feb., which is when I was terminating my contract because of the pest and rat infestation they have. They called me on the 8th to tell me that because I took the lock off (while I was moving stuff out) they can charge me a lock fee. When I disputed this, they threatened to send my stuff still in the unit (that was paid for) into collections. A petty power move by a bunch of Karen’s. There are many other storage places very close to this one, do yourself a favor and skip this awfully ran place.
