Me and my husband rented a 10-20. It started around $260. Ended at almost $500. We have been with public Storage for a year and 3 months. We ran away from public storage. We moved out on the 4th of Oct. My husband and I called public storage on the 5th to see how much we owed for 4 days. They said the moved our move out date back to Sept 30. They said we are good. Have a great day... That was a lie! On the 6th they added $300. They are dishonest. I don't recommend them. I have rated this place 2 times negative. Please don't give them any more money people. The have huge rent increase. They are lies!!!!!!! We are looking for any lawyers for a class action lawsuits. Also there was rat damage and water damage from the storage unit.

This is a clean and well managed facility that seems secure. My issue is with corporate with the frequency and amount of rent increases. I'll post my rent history here and you can use it to make a more informed decision.
10x15 climate controlled unit:
11/2022 - Starting rent: $144 a month, first month discounted, promotional. Promotional period duration is not shared even though it was asked for.
4/2023 - Rent raised to $199. I complain and get an additional few months at promotional rate.
7/2023 - Rent now at $199
1/2024 - Rent raised to $230. I call and complain and unfortunately there's nothing they can do for me. Meanwhile this new rate is close to 70% more than comparable storage in the area. Only solution is to move to another facility.
5/2024 - I terminated the lease
Raised my rent on the 3rd floor $25 within 6 months of being here. I talked to the person in the office and he said they increase every 6 months I’m not sure how they have high ratings with terrible practices such as this they have one elevator that closes before you can get your stuff in and expect me to pay $95 a month for this. Terrible!

If you’re comparing between the 2 Denton public storage locations, I recommend this one. Management at the other location is very hostile, insulting and doesn’t care about customers. Will do anything to try and extort money from you after you vacate.

After shopping around for a cheap unit I found this one, which though a bit of a drive but worth it for the price. Only to have rent raised by 32% after 3 months then raised again 9 months later another 32% totaling 64% increase in one year. I asked Ai if this is Public Storage a scam, and have attached the response. 88% negative reviews!
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Yall are thieves and you know it. Totally inaccessible, rude staff, plus you lie to customers about move out . Now you want to charge another hundred bucks for what? I went to Go Store it instead
Rachel is very rude and disrespectful. she does not like to communicate. i have no idea if she was having a bad day or what but you don’t take it out on customers. I will not be coming back to this location just because of her.

I setup a reservation a week ago and called to make sure things were still good to move in. After calling I found out the cancelled my reservation without my knowledge and blamed it on their computer system. I would of loved to give them a try, but not after this happening. They lost my reservation. They lost my business. Found something even better anyways.
Price for our storage unit increased almost $50 a couple months after we got our unit. To pay over $200 a month for storage and not be able to access our belongings whenever we want is insane to me. The after hours letters/texts are ridiculous.
I've used PS in another state before because of the good experience I had previously and the ability to access our units whenever we needed but after our experience at this location, we absolutely will not be back.

The property manager, Dean, printed out my account information with my name, address, phone number, space unit number and address, personal email address, personal phone number, account number, payment history, bal due, and told unauthorized persons what was in my unit and it wouldn't all fit into that persons vehicle. He also told that persons the exact date that I turned off my auto pay for my account. There was no authorization on the account for any of my account information to be told or anyone else on my account. He also lied and stated that my account was late. It was not late but one time in April when I was trying to set up auto pay and something went wrong. I fixed the issue and it never was late again. When I found out I called up there and he had me on speaker phone with that person listening. No one was on my account but me. When I asked for complaint number he gave me the automated sales nu.ber and I asked for his district managers name and number he stated that he was not allowed to give out her info!!! He sure in the heck sang out my information and I was a paying customer with good standing. Then I received an email after I filed a claim for notice of claim to auction off my property ON AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS PAID AND NOT BEHIND!! Use at your own risk. That man didn't know that person (that I know of) and gave A PRINT OUT OF EVERYTHING! This is a big corporation I'm just a low individual with no power. So idk I'm nothing tothese people

Ben was here and he explained things to me very patiently even though I was somewhat aggravated and he just helped me understand the things that were going on. And help me take care of business. Had a wonderful experience utilizing this storage. Very good customer service. Ben was very patient and kind. Only needed my unit for a month but will come back to this location next time I need to use a storage unit.
The Manager at this location refused to help me and would not call his DM to obtain assistance. He would not give his DM's name so that I can call them and make a complaint. Don't go to this location the Manager is not helpful and was lazy! He was not empathetic and did not care to assist me! I would not give any stars but this will not post without one so I add just one but it deserves 0 stars!

Don't rent if you can't pay until after the 15th. They cut locks between then and the 25th of every month. I get paid once a month and have been behind a couple weeks since they took over due to billing confusion. I get paid around the 20th so have to go buy another lock this week. They will not work with you on it.
Don’t waste money here. Front entrance has been broken for over a month. Trash is everywhere in the vehicle bay with cigarette butts and dirty diapers. They leave the back door open for people to come in and out as they please without needing a code to get in. Some security there.
Loved our experience there. Both men in the office were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Ben is the example of good customer relations and service. Given my unusual needs, he was patient and accommodating. He even managed to get me a very convenient upgrade to my original space request that I made online. My only other comments would be about Public Storage as a company. They should have a system to submit requested documentation in electronic form instead of relying completely on printed/paper. The place is very clean and the facility looks pretty new and very secure. Thank you!

Worst storage place we’ve ever gotten. I do NOT recommend. First off it’s so hard to get into this parking lot. You have to go allllll the way down and turn around just to turn in.. not easy with a big U-Haul or trailer. Secondly we got everything set up because we knew we would be arrive later and there would be no employees. We work the typical 7-5 work week.. They informed us our unit comes with a lock, so just bring ur stuff and they sent us access codes and our storage unit #. We load up a truck and trailer full, Go to site and there is NO lock… no one we can contact(it’s like 8:30). So we’re like okay no problem we’ll go get our own lock at Walmart. Go to Walmart get a lock drive all the way back. To find out that they close at 9pm!!! And you can NOT get in the gates after 9. Wow. So our stuff has to sit unlocked until we get off work the next day because we can’t get in the gate to put our lock on that we had to go alllll the way to Walmart to buy since there was not one in the unit like we were told. Just don’t even waste ur time and money people. It’s not worth it!
