Very smooth process Scott was very helpful and nice !!
Don’t rent here. There’s no place for your vehicle to park in the building on moving days, there’s no parking outside of the building, and you still have to carry your stuff into the building to store it in your unit, and the workers aren’t helpful at all.
The design of this is storage place is ridiculous! .
Awesome Service!!! Thanks Scott!!
Ben did amazing!
I usually never have a problem when I come to the storage and my apologies if I was wrong in leaving my car turned on. I did not know we could not do that while we were there, but my point is, as I was walking out from grabbing things that a needed, an older man that works there came up to me yelling at me that I could not have the car turned on and to turn it off immediately. I did what he asked, but he had no reason to come up to me yelling that way, and as I was leaving my mom who was in the car with my baby (the reason I didn’t turn off my car) told me that a couple seconds before I had my encounter with him, he came up and knocked aggressively on the window and yelled at her as well. This really made me furious because he could have simply said something in a well mannered way!
Jose was very helpful at move-in and took the time to show and explain everything to us!
Wonderful! Rachel is such a friendly helpful person!
Very inconvenient, especially since the elevator has been out for a week. The woman who works at the front is also extremely racial and frantically yelled at me and my movers claiming that we could not be there although I am a paying client and it was during business hours- I am just saying that’s no way to approach clients. Not once did she talk like that to any of the other guest there, who were all Caucasian.
Management sucks, there’s not enough carts elevator gets broken with slow repairs, office is closed at the worst times making you unable to even get a cart. Pests and theft.
And they will extort money from you even after you move out, hostile phone calls. Renters beware.
They will also sell your unit and continue to charge you. This is just a money grab with almost non existent customer friendly service. The amount of times they increase fees isn’t even funny.
This is the worst possible place you can rent from. Don’t let the building fool you, management is hostile.
They do everything in their power to extort money from you even if you’ve already moved out.
Despite how big it is they can only have 2 carts available, and at times there’s over 10 customers all trying to use them forcing you to wait hours or carry everything by hand. Not to mention theft and pests.
I can’t warn you enough not to rent a space from here.
This is the worst possible location of Public Storage you can rent from, I suggest you use the one a mile away. There’s a reason these ratings are so much lower.
Management is very hostile and will demand payment even if you already moved out, they are completely unwilling to be decent or understanding, and there’s theft issues on top of them rarely being available to give you carts which there are only 2 of.
The older lady in the office is the only redeeming quality this place has. But I wouldn’t trust them with your important belongings.
I was already moved out and they still called trying to extort money from me, after failing to verify my vacancy ahead of time.
Rented with them for 2 years and it’s been the most insulting and humiliating experience I’ve had with a business. I will be filing complaints with the BBB. This isn’t how you should treat customers who’ve been loyal for so long just to profit a small $166.
Not to mention them suddenly raising storage fees by 28% while making no improvements to anything. $125 to $166 for a 10x15.
Nice clean facility but Bluetooth access does not work. You will have to manually type in the 10 digit code at each door and elevator.
It was well worth every penny.
This storage facility was amazing before Public Storage bought them out. Now there is never any office staff at this facility, the facility is always filthy, there are never any carts to help you get your items to your storage unit, the frequently raise the rent (at least twice in the past year). and if you have any issues or concerns they basically tell you that they aren't going to do anything about it. Public Storage persistently go out of their way to offer subpar customer service and provide the utmost bare minimum while charging you as much as they possibly can.
This is the most inefficient storage facility in the history of storage facilities. One way in, one way out. Two (2) tiny elevators for 10 vehicles and two are commercial moving trucks. There are three (3) parking spaces in the parking lot... whoever designed this place should be immediately fired and sent back to grade school. This is a painted cash cow, and nothing about this place is service friendly. Way more stress than it's worth. Go to UHaul, rent a garage, anything but this place ever again. 1.5 hrs to bring 10 boxes to the 4th floor. Terrible.
I really enjoy having the larger space and the easy access. However the rate increases are so much higher than other storage facilities.
Love renting here with Rachel she was very kind and helpful to my storage needs. Made sure I had what I needed called me to set up a time that worked for me and haven’t had any issues at all! Anything I needed she got it! Thanks Hun you rock!
The space was clean, and easy to set up/move in online.
I was overcharged my card for one additional month after the move-out. Local staff can't help and the call center you get routed to for billing questions is abysmal. Renters beware!
The two people on staff made everything super easy and took the time to explain everything. The cart we were able to use was very handy and the facility was clean and in good condition. So glad we decided to store our things here!
Well since y'all want to raise rates almost every month on top of being almost completely inaccessible I'll be taking my business elsewhere . Smh. Do better
The property manager has a very nasty attitude and was very rude wouldn’t recommend
Honestly the worst experience with a storage unit facility I have ever had. The indoor parking is designed in the most inconvenient way, with only 4 parking spaces that are only made to fit small-medium sized vehicles, you are constantly blocked in by moving trucks and larger vehicles. You have to enter your pin to get into the elevator EVERY time you get in from the ground floor, not to mention the doors only stay open for about 2 seconds, which is obnoxious when trying to move. (You are not allowed to hold or block the door) But the WORST thing about this place is the fact that they only offer the 1 or 2 carts they have during office hours. You must sign them out and in. When I asked for a cart 30 minutes before office hours closed, I was asked how much stuff I have, and once they found out I had “more than a few boxes” I was told that I could not use a cart. So now we have a large load of things we will drag up the obnoxious elevator (the one out of two that are working) to the 4th floor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHATSOEVER, IT IS EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT!
They don’t have customer service here. I do t mean it’s bad I mean it actually does not exist. You cannot get connect to anybody when you try to call this place for help. Will be canceling my unit. They upped my rent from 80$ per mont to $140 without informing me.
Raven was extremely helpful! The facility is clean and well organized. The process of renting and moving our items in could not have been simpler.
I have been at this place for multiple years - since it was “All Storage” - since Public Storage took it over it has gone down hill majorly… the price of my unit has doubled, there is always trash around the parking spots and elevators, and there is only one cart to use to move your stuff - for everyone - which is a major issue when everything has to go up and down elevators. They said people were stealing carts - there used to be four when all storage owned it - and won’t be replacing any. And you can’t get the cart unless the front desk is open, which has very limited hours. They also are quite rude when you try to talk to them, refuse to negotiate on rate (my same unit is being offered at $50 less a month than I’m paying right now for new customers and they won’t budge in any way.) Just generally, it’s a decent storage place but don’t expect any bit of convenience or respect when you come here.
Sold my unit out from underneath me even after taking my money won't give me money or my piano ($3000) plus ROTC awards as well as laptops and a lot of other things only valuable to me. They kept taking my money even after they sold my unit for a year didn't learn about it till today. Reported them to the police and still trying to get my account cancelled
I was assisted by Ms Rachel, she is very professional, and extremely helpful .. thank you so much for helping me out to pick the right unit for me ! She deserves 10 stars
I enjoyed storing here. Raven and Rachel are incredibly helpful when I needed it.
This is the worst place, they constantly raise the price on us, and auto-pay frequently breaks which results in extra charges. The staff is always rude whether on the phone or in person and there are no carts unless it’s office hours which are unpredictable because sometimes the office is closed with no warning. 👎👎👎
When we first got our small storage locker, we were paying $80 a month. Since then, they have hiked our monthly payment to now, starting Feb 1, it's $149! That is ridiculous and outrageous for the small size we have. I understand that it's inside a climate controlled building, but half the time the gates never work, there's never any parking, it's always cluttered and filthy and at least one of the elevators aren't working. What are the price hikes for? What more benefit are we getting to pay more? So far, we haven't been anything but disappointed and frustrated with this company. Will never recommend to anyone else
Initially when I decided to rent here I was worried. This facility has a mix of good and bad reviews. After renting here for a few weeks now, I decided to go by the office with some questions and the interaction moved me to make a (long!) review of my own.
Today I had a long talk with the manager on duty (raven i believe) about my unit and the facility. She seemed very knowledgeable and polite and was happy to answer any question I had. I asked a lot of questions about the issues in the reviews (what initially worried me).
I asked about the carts. She acknowledged they did only have one and that it was able to be checked out in the office. She said they’re happy to hold it for you if you call ahead (if possible) or even call you when it’s done being used. They’re trying to get more carts but she said it’s not very easy to get it approved.
I asked about the drive up bay issues (busy, not a lot of space, getting blocked in). She explained that since they’re one of the biggest storages in a city with 2 colleges, even in their off season they’re usually pretty busy. She gave me times to avoid during the month so I wouldn’t have to worry about that. She said if I ever get blocked in to call or come by and they can try to direct traffic.
I asked about the cleanliness of the facility. I had noticed piles of trash or items a few times, but admittedly they did disappear quickly. The manager explained that they don’t have a dumpster for customer use, so people will abandon items or trash or whatever they want and it’s up to management to clear it out. So the trash isn’t due to lack of cleaning, but lack of manners from other renters. She says they clean daily, but people will leave junk after the office closes so it sits there overnight, which then other people see and add to because others did.
Overall after my chat with raven I felt much better about my decision to rent here. The facility is secure, clean, and run by two sweet women. It would have been 5 stars but the lack of carts is an issue (but not the worker’s fault).
They do not provide carts. The facility is dirty and smelly and is not being maintained. Access is often blocked by trucks. Your introductory rate will be doubled soon after move in. Public storage operates through “regional management” so no one accountable for the incompetent operation of this location with whom you could address your issues will ever be on-site. You’ve been warned.
I reserved online and am really happy I decided not to go through with renting here. The side doors were locked, and so I tried opening them. And I guess i'm too strong as a woman, and it made a loud noise and scared the manager Rachel with face tattoos... You'd think you'd be a little bit harder than that, if you have face tattoos, you wouldn't be scared of a woman trying to open a locked door. Anyway, I walked into the place, and she called me aggressive out of nowhere and I said, "What are you talking about" and she said the way you tried to open that door was aggressive. And I just kind of smiled like 'what?' I didn't tug on the door several times or anything. I just literally tried to open it once, and I guess because of the noise it made She just really wanted to insult me. That is exactly how you don't get business from people. I don't know if you know, Rachel, but there are tons of storage lockers in the area all offering similar prices. I don't tolerate some rudeness. And I definitely am not gonna tolerate some lady with face tattoos all over her face, calling me aggressive for no reason. I am a sweet midwesterner who doesn't take kindly to rudeness. Business taken elsewhere. Cube Smart, and Extra Space Storage have always been kind to me. I was just trying to try something new.
Prices to high, don’t fall for the move in price they will go up after a few months. Can never get a cart, only have one in the whole place, been that way for long time. managers using it to move trash and wanted me to wait 20 minutes for it. What ever happened to customer Service. Told them how ridiculous it was and that I would leaving, just got a “thats fine” response. Very bad design, No room to get in or out most of the time. Big moving trucks always blocking everything up. Will most definitely be finding an alternative place to store stuff. Can’t get out soon enough.
It's annoying that the elevators don't work with the phones. And half the time there isn't enough space to park.
Both Rachel and Raven were a great help! They were kind and awesome when I had some issues. I'll be recommending this facility and these managers to anyone who needs storage!
High prices, locked down now like Fort Knox because of theft. Carts are locked in the office because of theft. You can't even get them until 11 am.
I wasn't expecting a lot of attention or help going into discussing a potential unit in a very last-minute, tight-budget situation, but Raven was extremely helpful in letting me know what my best options were across multiple locations. Thanks to Raven, I'm looking at a massive savings, and my apartment-to-apartment move on an extremely tight budget and a two-day window is saved. To Raven - Thank you so much!! You were a delight to talk to and brightened my day immensely!
Great
Horrible design. Hard to get in and out of. The drive through portion is designed for small cars. No carts to get your stuff in and out. Part time office hours.
The management has been awesome and I could not ask for them to have gone overboard to try to make everything right for you there, please applaud the managers (Rachel and Raven) they are outstanding and it makes you want to stay there. I just rented another unit today because she's so kind of nice, and I've like, the size of your units. And thank you for hiring her. I think she deserves some sort of bonus. If it would be possible to offer both of these women a bonus they well deserve it. I have not recalled that I've been to a storage unit. Where the people have been so willing to help? Once you've already paid your rent so they're continuing to help people in. It makes you want to stay so I rented a second unit from you. Both of these women are so outstanding. I've asked that you please consider to give them some talk to phone and surveys, they will deserve it.
I’m not sure if the lady in the front office is just having a bad day or if she is always rude. I told her that I would be headed that way from work (Richardson Tx - Denton Tx) and I would be in by 5pm to make a $10 payment (all I owe them is $10) and she said and I quote “we don’t wait for anyone”. I arrived at 5:01 pm and she wasn’t joking she locked the door in my face and pointed to her wrist and then held up the number 1. Then she proceeded to BAN my storage treasures account. This behavior is ridiculous and I don’t know how public storage can allow their employees to treat people so poorly. I hope that manager gets the help she needs and maybe becomes happier in life.
Get ready for the lawsuit public storage
Great service from Ashlyn!
DO NOT RENT Here unless you want your stuff to be STOLEN !! How ironic that other reviews have said the exact same thing about STOLEN items. Not only could management not identify my account, and took months of calling various people within the company to get my issue solved, but when I finally did, I was completely shocked to find multiple items STOLEN! You pay for your things to be secure, with cameras throughout the storage place, yet management claimed they could not access cameras! How ironic! The manager even told me that they were the ones who took my OWN lock off, and replaced it with theirs, yet when I asked her what could have happened to my stuff, she acted clueless, and said my only option was to call the cops! Staff and Management ABSOLUTELY STEALS from clients storage units!! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT rent here! The ABSOLUTE WORST STORAGE PLACE with garbage management!!! Would have given 0 stars if possible.
Very friendly and helpful
Absolutely horrible place, horrible employees.
clean and organized! the staff were friendly too, had a nice experience overall:))
Nice staff. Very helpful!
Great customer service! Shoutout to Abby for the help!
Needed a short-term solution and went with Public Storage.
They no longer have moving carts because of theft-you would think Corporate could figure out to hold a driver's license long enough to use a cart. Hopefully you didn't move anything heavy in when carts were available because you now get to figure out how to unload.
Go early and you can find people sleeping on mattresses in the halls. Trash piles up in the elevator area-sometimes for days!
The interior on the inside needs to be bigger to allow more the 4 cars for a 4 story building. The facility is well maintained and everything can be done without having to interact with the front desk so that's a bonus.
Good location and good affordable price not too much like it to so clean good video security make sure I'm safe love it just got it yesterday My storage good deals
This place is a 4 story building with hundreds and hundreds of storage units. They have 4 rolling carts for the entire thing. They need way more carts to help people load in and out.
If you want to move out on the 1st day on the next month, you still have to pay for the entire month. They will not prorate or refund you the extra paid for days. So, this caused an incredible jam of people trying to move out at the end of the month. All to try and make a few more bucks.
Lastly, they require a 9 digit code to enter the building and to get the elevator to take you up to your floor. It’s not user friendly. Slows everything down.
Very smooth move-in experience! Abby and Raven were very professional and ensure all my questions were answered. They gave me a great deal on space that works for my needs. Love the security features. Thanks!
Went in to get some boxes and the staff was so friendly and conversational! Real professional service, A+!
Great customer service! I didn't end up using them, but they answered all of my questions and were super nice. I was very impressed, thank you!
Sandy and Abby and Rachel is very professional very good. Customer service service they take good care there customer we will recommend this facility to all ours friends and family
I have consulted a lawyer, so if you're interested in a class action lawsuit, get in touch with me. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY if you want to keep your items. They've had over 100 separate reports of people's units being broken into within the past 2 months alone. Their front gate has been broken for at least 6 months now, and they keep the back gate open all the time so anyone can come and go. They require no code to use the elevator, and no code to enter the facility in general. My unit was robbed. I went to drop something off, and noticed that there was a different lock on my unit. It also had a public storage sticker on this new lock. The property manager said someone must have peeled the sticker off someone else's lock and put it on that lock. I find the whole thing really really fishy and suspicious that she came up with such a silly excuse so quickly as to why there would be a public storage sticker on the lock. I also found a piece of broken latex glove in the unit that they used to cover their fingerprints. I wouldn't be surprised if Public Storage uses the same gloves in their maintenance. As far as any maintenance does go, that's a complete joke, there's trash everywhere and it's been like that for months . I believe their employees are working with people to Rob your units. Steer clear of this location and any public storage in general, they are nothing but Crooks and thieves.
Update: Just days after I initially left this negative review, I was notified by public storage that my rent went up more than $40 per month. This is an obvious attempt at revenge from my review that they immediately had responded to, and an attempt to squeeze me out of their horrible property. I will be contacting the better Business bureau about this today.
I don't know who's running this place but it is out of control. There's always trash everywhere, the front bay door has been broken for a couple of months, only allowing for one bay door entry, and causing a huge bottle neck of vehicles coming and going from the inside of the tunnel. There are frequently no carts available to bring your items to and from storage. I have been using this place for several months and they have never attempted to sweep the hallways. The management is horrible here.
I first signed on when All Storage owned the place but since Public Storage took over, the safety and quality I was paying for is gone. Not to mention recently I was told my rate would be going up without reason. Definitely looking elsewhere to store my items.
This place is a disaster. I am not w happy person. For one when will the gate get fixed or is that not a priority? Ive been here since June and it is still broken. I have seen roaches in this place are they not spraying? This is ridiculous for the price that I have to pay. I have never renter from a storage place that is this nasty and not kept up. I will be contacting the front desk but not sure if that will help after reading others reviews. Please do better and take care of this facility.
Very friendly and helpful and fast rented my space today.
It has been 3 months that the locked entrance was broken and the drive through has been opened all day. With average temperatures above 100 degrees during this time it makes our very expensive unit not really climate controlled. Calls to the management go unanswered. Given the price I paid I would expect more service but this is a poorly run business and would never recommend them.
Very sweet and very helpful beautiful person!! Outstanding customers service!
IF you are able to move everything you own in a car, you are good to rent here. IF you never have to go here on the last weekend of the month, you are good to rent here. But I want you to look at the way this place is laid out. There are 4 parking spaces big enough for a car inside the building where you drive in to load/unload. I used two 26' U-Hauls for my last move, both of them pulling trailers. Where are they supposed to park to unload? I guess they are supposed to pull in nose to tail on one side of the interior space. Big enough for 3 trucks total. But, remember that one "drive through door" has been broken for months, so that means you have people who have rented huge trucks (IE can't drive them worth a flip) trying to BACK them around a 90 degree corner to enter the building, then back them down one side of the interior and parallel park them between other trucks with ramps down. I had to wait 2 hours sitting outside waiting for trucks to finish unloading so I could even pull in. Professional drivers in big 26 foot Penske trucks were having a very very hard time doing this. There is no other parking for unloading, so after 4 cars fill up the actual parking spots inside, everyone else parks in the fire lane which rings the building. You've got big U-Hauls, big trucks with huge trailers all lined up on both sides so it is hard to even drive through between the rows of cars. People were parked on the SIDES of the building and having to carry all their belongings around the side of the building, halfway town the back to get to the big door, then halfway through the interior to get to the entry doors to the sides that have the actual storage units in them. WORST DESIGN I'VE EVER SEEN. Make sure you never ever have to access this place at the end or beginning of the month like I did or you will decide you would rather burn everything you own in their parking lot than deal with this disaster. BTW, no I didn't rent here. I was smart enough to look at the design and see it was idiotic. I was stuck helping "a family member" who needed someone to drive the truck and load/unload and THEY picked this disaster. YOU have been warned.
Called the day before purchasing the unit and was told it would be $30 for the first month since I only needed it for the one month. Because, Denton apartments love to make students homeless for exactly 1 day so that services like this can thrive. Went up to get the bespoke $30 unit and was charged $209. Horrible way to conduct business and should be ashamed of preying on students with no other choices.
When my boyfriend and I got the storage unit back in January. We thought we were picking a good place to store our items but unfortunately we picked the wrong place. About a week ago we got a call on Sunday saying that our storage unit was found open with no lock and we’re asked to come in. Once my boyfriend and I showed up. the first thing we noticed was the front gate was broken so we had to enter through back once we go to check our storage unit we saw that it had a different lock not our original lock we put on. So we went to office for one of the employees to open the unit. Once they opened our unit we were in complete shock to see that all of our belongings were all pretty much gone and what I was more upsetting about was that our 70” tv was gone ( worth $700) the person who stole our items stole $2,500 worth of things. The guy told us we could report it to the copes and that they had a private investigator on the case but not just our unit was hit but also another one a few doors down. It’s already been a week and we have yet to get a call from the private investigator or any kind of update on the case. Looking at the place and seeing their security cameras where they have them located. One being right on the corner where our unit is. My boyfriend and I have come to the conclusion that who ever works there or used to work there we’re watching us carefully on what all was being brought in. Since it’s been about two months since we had gone to put items in the unit. What makes me more upset is that we didn’t get told when our unit was found opened or anything. Also their gates in the back are open 24/7 so anyone can really go in and steal anything from anyone. We also noticed that several other units had two to even three locks on their doors that just showed us that the place is no longer a good or safe place to storage things. Definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone at all.
Raven was so sweet and very Informative she answered every question I had and even let me see two different storage units before I signed anything! she had a very bubbly sweet personality and I really enjoyed her being the person that helped me out today
When I moved in the rate was reasonable and it seemed like a clean and organized place. But I quickly came to see there are problems there. Not enough parking spaces to unload your belongings inside. Not enough carts for the people wanting to use them. And now… They have almost doubled my rent with only one months notice and the door is Broken but there was no sign so I could not get in YOUR BELONGINGS ARE OPEN TO ANYONE, it’s going to be a major hassle but I’m finding a new place to store my belongings. And filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and contacting local news, clear example of corporate buyout ruins local business 🤬
All older reviews are irrelevant as this place has been bought out. Public Storage has ruined this location. There is trash everywhere and that is not an understatement. Everything is getting torn up since the takeover. The the carts are not longer reliable to use for moving most items. Just another example of a terrible corporate takeover.
DO NOT RENT from here they took my lock off and put another lock on my unit. I have my payments on auto pay & i am current on my payments. When I tried to contact the office at 1pm on a Thursday about it. No one was in the office and no one would answer any phone calls. Plus a homeless person is living inside of the place at least that's what it looks like with all of the trash and dirty tampons.
I came during the office hours to receive my unit & keys. No one was available. I tried calling a couple hours & no one picked up. What’s the point of having office hours if associate is not there to do their job?
Starting renting space here after Public Storage took over. The place is a mess. Trash all over the loading area and the employees seem be only interested in a filling a chair while drawing a check. And Public Storage does not have customer service to call - your only option is to call the location and speak to the person who was the source of the problem.
The storage facility is new and has a great and easily accessible location. The team members were very helpful during the step up of our storage and are responsive to communicate. The storage is very clean and has a very competitive price. I for sure would recommend it.
Updated:
The review above was 5 stars when All Storage had the ownership of the storage building, so after Public Storage took over I will give 3 stars because the new staff that took over was not always as enjoyable and respectful to talk/deal with, even the lady that is or was the new manager. Also, because they tried to charge me an extra insurance charge even though I had my own insurance on file with All Storage before and sent it by email to Public Storage to get it corrected, but still it didn't get fixed, so I was obligated to go in person to sign a release form. And the last reason is because they put their own sticker on my new locker without my authorization and I could not remove it without leaving marks on it, which was very annoying and disrespectful in my opinion.
