I live in the apartments next door so this was very convenient for me, I had this unit for about 5 months. Since I move I report a hole in the ceiling on my unit that when it rained was always dripping, never got fixed and I report it like 3 more times.
The gates have long time of not working and they don’t look like trying to fix them. So anyone can go in at any time.
I start noticing a weird smell and after moving some stuffs I notice A LOT of rat poop and pee, they said unfortunately is a problem they can’t solve. And the last thing that make me decide to move was the rent prince increase. Around 30% extra a month, and with all those problems is at all not worth it.
Love it. Easy set-up, hassle-free, and convenient.

I rented a unit online at a rate that was reasonable for my budget. With in the 2 yrs I've been renting, management raised my rent twice without any notice. The units are dark inside and difficult to see inside your unit if on property after dark. They have No accessible outlet for our convenience to run an extension cord for some lighting. And the reason is, because they are being rented by individuals that live out of their units. And we are not able to use the dumpster that is on the property to toss out trash. Management expects us to take our trash with us and dump it somewhere else. $3000 is beyond enough spent on this storage unit. Shoot that money spent probably paid for that new car the manager on site is driving around in. 🤨😠

This was the 3rd Public storage I came to and Ms. Jill got me straight. She was so professional and knowledgeable about my concerns.
Jill was very helpful, but she needs some help in there because her alone having to provide all the customers with service is straining and time consuming. The process should’ve been quicker, but she was the only person trained working. She did work with us as we lost the key to the storage unit and couldn’t get the lock cut same day (it’s a weekend day) by providing us with a new storage unit (yes we paid), but she still worked with us as our movers were sitting outside waiting. I do recommend this location, once we got the unit everything else was smooth. Everything is by the app as well which is convenient.

We've been waiting for more then an hour an a half outside along with 5 other cars, no one answers the door and there is no one on the property. No sign at least saying "be right back", "at lunch" , "at another property" with a time frame or something. This always happens even when coming at different times to not be in the same situation. These other people I meet here say the same thing and even they're frustrated about this. The rep from customer service number can't never do anything about it which why in the hell is the number there for and no return calls. We will be moving to another storage place that is more organized and concerned about their customers. I will be telling my friends and family to make the transition as well.

Management was awesome (Jill) I think that was her name. After she was training and other person she did an amazing job. I been buying storage units for the last month and I have bought few from "Public storage " and I had call every store and left a message and nobody had call me back.until yesterday. I call this location at Westmoreland and Illinois and left a voice message to arrange a time to pick up my unit . I know I know you may say just go to the location and walk in to the building and that's it. But sometimes is to far away to go and check if someone is at the office. Example couple weeks ago I call some stores and some places were just a Kiosks. O no big deal. But we don't know that. That's why I appreciate Manager Jill for calling me back and arrange pick up time. Whoever is been a great experience on this ride. HOPE AND ALL YOUR TEAM HAVE A BLESS DAY. THANKS PUBLIC STORAGE FOR THIS GREAT EXPERIENCE.
This is my first time using this facility and the service was very easy, explained very well, and Ms. Latoya did an amazing job on helping me and getting me set up! Hats up to Ms. Latoya. She was phenomenal!!!

Very nice workers. I forgot too lock my unit . she call me to let me know while she was doing her rounds she notice. And put a lock on it. I was so busy I forgot. I have two 10×10 units. . the price has went up, but also everything else. I love you can open the gate from your car, using your phone. 4 year's ago they didn't have it when I rented then.
Hopefully they will give a better deal if you rent 2 storage unit

She helped us with our initial paper work when we moved our items in and has always been friendly when we go to get things out of our unit. Recently we had a question about our bill. Jill took care of the issue while I was on the phone with her. It was very helpful to have it done right then and not have to wait for a call back. If you ever need friendly help, this Public Storage is great. We appreciate the attentiveness we receive from Jill at this location.
