My storage unit was broken into and the staff added a lock to my unit and the insurance denied it for lack of evidence of a broken entry. The staff added a lock to my ransacked storage unit intentionally and emailed me saying they accidentally broke my lock but replaced my lock with their own. It's a classic theft ring and the employees cover themselves by putting a lock so that the insurance company doesn't pay the customer out. The insurance doesn't have to pay anyone so they don't have to initiate an investigation and the police don't do anything because according to the storage unit insurance "there was no theft".
All my boxes that read Master Bedroom, Jewelry, Purses, Electronics, Computer, Living room, kitchen silverware, were either missing or ripped open. Only the ones that said bathroom, kids toys, and pet toys were left completely intact.

I have been renting with them since 2019 and my rent went from $104 to $135 to $157 to $191 to $248 same unit. I can’t afford it I need to finally move my things out and rent elsewhere
i was impressed with the very patient, very courteous customer service by Public Storage representative Laryssa. She alerted me to the location, waited for me as i arrived late behind schedule and she showed me the workings of storage lockers and freight elevators, took it slowly step by step and watched an guided me as i operated the lockers/elevators. She made it a comfortable visit. Thanks
The employees broke into my storage unit. They called me to let me know they "accidentally" broke our lock because they got the wrong unit number. I came to pick my stuff up and it was ransacked and left with empty moving boxes. They never reported that it was broken into. They gave us a key to the lock they installed after they accidentally broke our lock.

Used the storage while I was moving from apt to a house. They had great deal during that time witch I took advantage of $1 for the month, cristal the staff member there help me out at the time, she did a great job in Assisting me with my unit, she answer all my question and had great attitude 👍🏼 will definitely come back to this location if ever I’m in need of storage space !

I’m moving soon and am looking for a storage place near this location, I am so happy I didn’t end up using this location.. My friend currently is using them after her recent move as well and she’s been given terrible service and has had a bad experience with this location. I’m not sure if they’re all like this but, if you do please be sure to double check everything. It seems like it’s so hard to get to someone on the phone as well. Glad I didn’t use this place as my storage unit, Save yourself the headache!

I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft too and she did everything she could do to help me out of that mess. It is at 2861 Walnut Hill Lane they have a great people running the warehouse the managers are real nice and very polite and always ask you if you have any problem to let them know Ellie is one of the managers I deal with a lot and she's pretty good in doing things and I watch her cleaning the area and always doing something so I give her five star to this storage place that's all
I was a tenant about a year there. The manager kept the place very clean and was great to deal with. I'd still be there if it was closer to my house. I had such a good experience I rented with another Public Storage closer to me. Sadly it doesn't seem to be as well maintained.
The manager promptly took care of any issues. I highly recommend this location and the staff managing and operating it. Only downside is the hours are a bit tight for when they are open.

They don't have enough personal, I had been trying to make a payment on Saturday October 1st, Sunday Oct 2nd and Friday October 3rd and finally on Friday after waiting for 1 and a half hour someone appeared and could make a payment.. I thought they would change a late fee.

My space was at 2861 Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas, TX.
I moved in during December 2021. The light in the storage unit was not working. They told me there were electrical problems and it would PROBABLY be fixed at the first of the year. It's May 2022 and it's STILL not working.
I made one late payment one day after due date and they charged me 50% of my monthly fee as a late charge.
Horrible business! 0 out of 10 will NEVER recommended!
