I moved out 11 days before my bill was due and when I moved out they billed me $200 that afternoon. Tried to call several times and was told to call the onsite staff members about their error and never received a call back. Also had issues bc my garage door was HORRIBLE, like was kind of crooked and made it hard to open and close also got off track. I was there for like 15 minutes trying to close it and in tears. Asked for help they told me to just leave it open with the lock near it and they would lock it later. Like leave all my possessions unguarded and hope for the best ? Then with the door Their solution was “just step on it and wiggle it back and forth “ when it was jammed instead of correcting the issue . Also, they don’t have any loyalty to ongoing customers. My friend had two units that she got on special, special was still going on for new customers only and after a few months they raised the cost $50 each so we end up getting a new unit with the special and having to relocated to storage units 🫠

I have had a unit there for several years now. I recently transitioned to a larger unit and the process did not go smoothly with this new automated program they are trying to force onto people. It's hard for seniors who do not drive, use smartphones or apps. However Emilio helped resolve the lingering issues and hiccups that resulted from the changes. He is always so happy to help and truly undertstands customer service which is a rare thing nowadays. Keep up the good work Emilio!

Emilio (the property manager) and the team up at this Public Storage location are simply the best. They handle their business and customers with extreme care. Our belongings always felt extremely safe and any questions or concerns were always answered immediately. We had to move and no longer needed our storage space. Unfortunately the elevator in our building had problems right as we were trying to move out. The elevator parts were on back order so it took a bit longer than expected to have fixed. Emilio made sure that we didn't have to pay a dime during this period with the elevator down since we couldn't move move our larger items down the stairs. He would always call to give me updates on the status of the elevator and more. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will be going straight back if I ever need to rent another space again. Thank you Emilio and the entire team at this location. You rock!

I could not have been more pleased storing at this location! The property manager, Emilio, and the relief manager, Lucy, were always so kind, courteous and attentive. We always felt our belongings were kept safe and never had any issues with either of our drive-up units. I simply couldn't be happier with my choice of storage locations. Public Storage is always a great place to store your belongings, but the live-onsite Manager Emilio truly takes this location to the next level. He also trains his staff with the same friendly, customer oriented attitude that he has mastered over his 20 years here. This is an older location in need of a face lift here and there, but don't let that fool you. I would definitely drive out of my way to continue coming to this location for my storage needs.

I've had a space for 4+ years at MoPac and it is ideal for me. Recently I had a problem and poised it to the attendee. She said she couldn't do anything (I was expecting that reply). A few weeks later I happened to bump into Emilio. I poised the same request. He said let's work on that. Through Emilio's magic, we found a solution. The day I had to move my things in I noticed there was signs of animal abuse from previous tenants. Management wouldn’t do anything about it. Even though the unit smelled of dogs and there was dog prints on the floor in blood and feces. Management denies this regardless of my photos. They raise the rent every few months to ridiculous prices. Manager is rude and unhelpful not considerate of tenants things and apparently of animals as well. Will be reporting to animal control for investigation.

Emilio did an amazing job getting me situated after a very tough time. He was efficient and funny individual. I wasn’t all there and he took so much care of me with delicacy and professionalism, he will never truly know how those laughs made me feel. Thank you Emilio !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had a long term rental for office purposes in Building B. The elevator has been out since at least before Halloween. This is getting ridiculous trying to haul equipment up and down stairs. How long is long enough.

Right after reserving my space online I received a warm welcome via phone call from the property manager, Emilio, which was very thoughtful. Upon moving in, I discovered some issues with my space and Lucy—the relief manager on duty that day—immediately responded to my call and went above and beyond to address my concerns. She was kind, reassuring and saw to it herself that everything was resolved quickly. The facility offers gate access via their app—so convenient—and the grounds are well maintained, plus there's plenty of lighting at night. A good place to store all your belongings

Emilio is fantastic and the prices were a deal. Was able to leave the city for a few weeks and felt safe with my items under his care. The moving process was an easy transition and the tools/carts provided made it much easier to load and unload. He ensures your items are stored and secured and is incredibly friendly and easy to chat with. Strongly recommend this location if you’re looking and the app is easy to use.

I would definitely recommend this Public Storage. Emillio was super helpful to help me move my stuff from the storage unit. I had an issue with my keys to the lock and Emilio provided me with locksmith contact who was available on a Sunday and also arrived in 40 mins. I would highly recommend this place, the people who work here try to offer their best services to you.

. I got charged a whole month because I was told to get in autopay . The autopay withdraw on the same day regardless if you already have paid the month. I got charge random charges and was told to go to the office to “upload” them, but never informed I had to print it out. After all this Emilio and his team help me to fix my whole situation! I have had one personal unit and one business unit. The staff at the front desk are always polite and professional. One time one of my units auto-failed because the credit card expired and instead of foreclosing, they simply did me the kindness of calling. We're obviously keeping the other unit, but if you have a choice in North Austin, this is the best Public Storage (imho). Safe, clean, private, and great service.

Emilio is wonderful. The facility is well maintained, the prices and location are great, and Emilio takes excellent care of his customers. He made sure my unit was ready, answered all my questions, and provided information on how to keep the unit in good condition with wrapping and moisture levels. Highly recommend this location!

Emilio, the owner is awesome. He is a cool and funny dude. He is very responsive and called personally when my unit was ready. Property is clean and the units are very accessible. The carts are well maintained. Even the shadow creatures on the second floor of building C are not as spooky as other storage places and are well behaved. 10 out of 10.

My name is David and I am paying $300/month for a 10x20 space(04/22). My price when I moved in a year ago was $179 (11/20) (edited: I had the wrong size) Update: I am changing the rating for a couple reasons. I take my contribution here seriously and I rarely change my rating unless there are misunderstandings on my part or the company goes out of its way to address my concerns. I did get a call from Emilio, the manager of the specific property of whom I think very highly. He is the one I referenced in my original review as being friendly and attentive. Emilio laid out some options for me and told me what the typical market rent was for my unit in the area. He also gave me some options to lower my rent if that is what I need. In my case I am fine with the rent but I am not ok with it continuing to increase at this pace. He expressed some concern over my issues and genuinely wanted to help. If Emilio would have been on the the other end of my initial phone call this review may may have never been necessary. I raised my review to 5 stars out of a concern for the local staff. Their corporations policies should not reflect on how they run their specific property. I am going to move my 3 star review to the Public storage corporate page. The review below still stands but if you have to use Public Storage, this property is very good. Original Review Well, reviewing storage units is a little like reviewing a towing company. What is good and what is bad is a little situational. In short, the staff here are fantastic. They are attentive and nearly always present. They are accessible and really nice. On the other hand, the company has raised my rent $100 a month over about a year - which sucks... I called corporate CS to ask if my rent was going to continue to go up at this rate indefinitely and the guy said, "It says in your contract that your rate can go up at any point. Maybe try downgrading to a smaller unit." It was bitterly unhelpful. As far as the facility, it is fine. I am pretty sure there are rodents because I can smell their urine. It is not a massive deal for me, but it might be if you are storing furniture. The access control is well structured and there is nearly always someone around to check on things. The campus is clean and I feel like my stuff is secure. The questions you have to ask yourself are: 1 How much is convenience worth to me - location can make a huge difference in price. If you are not planning on accessing your stuff frequently, get something out of town. Also plan on your initial price doubling over the course of a couple years. 2 How much is your current garage space worth to you. Right now, I am feeling a little guilty. My garage is dirty and I am paying nearly $300/month for a 5x15 space. TDLR: Local staff is great and facility is fine. Corporate is very very greedy.

Just wanted to say that during these times of inflation, it really helps to have a public storage with a manager thats attentive & very respectful. Since my first day of being at this location he has made my time here very comfortable. The property is always kept in great shape plus when he sees you he checks to make sure everything is up to high standard.

The convenience of this location is nice and the facilities are well kept. However, the key differentiator is the commonly lost art of personal customer service the site team regularly demonstrates even while enduring the constrained COVID conditions over the past couple of years.
