With its warm weather, top-rated healthcare and plentiful amenities, the city is considered one of the country's best places to retire. Georgetown was chosen as the first Texas city to host a Sun City retirement community, which has drawn several thousand retirees to the neighborhood. Sun City Texas stretches over 5,300 acres and offers both single-family homes and duplexes, as well as community amenities like swimming pools and group activities.
