I had a unit here which I vacated in June 2024. They have continued charging me (its currently November), when I called to rectify the problem I was told I was being transferred and was hung up on. When I called back I was sent to voicemail. Making a claim with my bank to hopefully recoup the over charges. They are running a scam.
Do not store here. By all means. I mean DO NOT RISK LOSING OR HAVING TO BATTLE IN COURT THIS ORGANIZATION. THERE IS EVER ANY personal on site..

I went buy this Public storage store to enquire about a space to store my stuff with a move from Houston. I was greeted by the property manager Reanna and she answered all my questions without hesitation. If this move happens I'll definitely be coming back to store my stuff. I went by a bunch of times and no one was ever in the office, all the stuff I left in the unit smelled really bad after a few months, not sure what is going on with that.
Be careful on the bait and switch. I moved my stuff into a unit here 3 months ago, moved out of the city and they sent an email they they’re raising my rent from all in at $206 to $256.
This place was below market when I moved in and I put up with multiple homeless people living out of nearby units with dogs who chased me. I’m not talking see one - I saw 3 different homeless people clearly living out of their units the 5 times I visited. Multiple cars nearby had broken window and there was clear homeless trash near by. I wouldn’t be surprised finding my stuff stolen by the homeless people when I check.
Move in 3 months later, raise rents randomly by 33% in the heat of summer - the Ben White Public Storage of Austin investor strategy to bait and switch consumers.
my storage unit was exposed to vermin who ate the little food that was there and pooped all over the place. my bad for leaving food there, but I thought a concrete building would be able to prevent vermin. they have tunnels in the facility for sure, the place is not rodent safe. it's amazing that no one has mentioned this in a review.

I have to update the negative review I gave previously. I complained about no one ever being in the office when you need them. I suppose it was just coincidence no one was in the first couple of times I was there. Since then, someone's been in the office every time. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I would store with them if need be.

Just recently I had to rent another unit Due to a relocation problem with my place of business so I went to the same location to rent another unit and talked to a new employee by the name of REANNA that topped the customer service list, for top of the line A+ SERVICE this employee truly knows the meaning of customer service and facility management, she definitely knows her business she took the time to show and point out the details of the unit sizes. She’s very KIND, PATIENT, and HELPFUL throughout the process and as well as after should you have any unanswered questions. I definitely give her an A+ 5 STAR RATING.

2 days ago a very nice women named Reanna helped me set up the Public Storage mobile app for my phone. She let me know that I could actually use the app to access the property without having to use the 8 digit code they provided me with (I have terrible memory and I am not very tech savvy). I didn’t even know about it until she told me. Her customer service was unmatched compared to other storage facilities I’ve been involved with. I felt like they (Public Storage) actually cared about my needs and where able to help a needy old lady such as myself with the issues I was facing. I will definitely be recommending this location and Reanna to my friends who need a good storage facility. Thank you again Reanna if you ever see this! You rock!

Richard at the Public Storage location 5601 Ben White Blvd. in S. Austin provided excellent customer service. He made our move simple from start to finish and was professional and accommodating.
DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. All my things were burglarized here. They provide no protection for your stuff. There are no cameras inside and the ones they do have they don’t use. Put it like this, anyone anywhere right now a can find a lock cutter and steal all your stuff and not get caught easily. If you stuff in there right now it can get stolen, this place is a joke. The owner don’t care and hides his phone number.

I attempted to get a unit from this place 3 times. The 1st time was online. I went through the entire process down to seeing what my unit was after paying and the system kicked me out, said I had no storage (only a reservation) and took my money which was held for 4 days. I visited the actual office twice on different days and each time the doors were locked, lights off, and no one around to help you. I went with another company.
