Where to start. The prices go up and up (now at 230 for a 10x10), we've witnessed assaults and verbal altercations in the building, the lobby is often closed and no one available, and most recently our unit was broken into and items stolen (the lock *they* sell and recommend was cut. I noticed 7 units on our row are now empty and when I walked just our row, there were 15 locks obviously damaged), the doors on the ground floor are constantly propped open - sadly, the staff doesn't do anything about this, and the elevators often don't work. We're moving ASAP. We should have done this ages ago, it's just so much work.
This is *not* the place you want to store your possessions.

This is the worst PubicStorage I have ever used. It is not secure, constantly vandalized, there are DRUGS on the ground, and there are never any carts.

I cannot get anyone via email, chat or phone. I vacated my unit over a month ago but I am still being charged. They never refunded me for the lock I didn’t use. Buyer be careful
“Climate controlled” means 82 degrees. It’s technically not in the direct sun, I guess.
They messed up my drivers license making it impossible to pay online. I now have a fee but no way to pay. The customer service is abysmal and don’t expect the office to pick up their phone ever. The u-haul storage at Ben White is miles above try there before coming here. They contacted me and helped me fix all of these issues. I really appreciate Nan for all of her help.
They raised my monthly rental fee by 43% after only having a unit for 6 months. I would price that in to whatever rate they give you (and probably just find another storage company that doesn't do sneaky things like this).
I Was having issues contacting someone from the office but Jessica helped me arrange a time for me to come and made sure to follow up with me thanks.

Pros: building is indoors with keypad entry for front door and elevator
Cons: there’s no property manager unless you’re trying to rent a new unit. They messed up my unit- called 3 times leaving 3 messages over 3 days with no response
The code never changes so anyone who helped someone move or saw the code for any reason has it forever
Danielle is very helpful and friendly. Fix my problem I had trying to get access to my unit. Would definitely recommend coming to this store
Super dirty property, smells terrible in the elevator. Website said I was getting a ground floor unit only for it to be on the 4th. One hand cart to move stuff up and down the elevator, so if multiple people are waiting, you get to either wait or lug one box at a time around.
Brenda was really respectful and helpful to me throughout my 2 years here and helping move out thank you.
Deanna continues to help me whenever I have a question. She always has the answers I need, whenever anything pops up that I am not sure of. Always ready to provide me with excellent service!

Customer service (public storage account support) is aweful. Auto pay failed (I moved, address didn't align) was told updating address would solve the issue, updated, failed again and charged 25% late fee for the month. I was told by the location that account management would remove the fee if I explained the situation, they instead closed it with no ability to remove the fee. Mind I had already turned over the space back to the facility, and there was still 23 days left in the month. Egregious nickel and diming.
If you need extra space to store your things and in the South Austin area, the Public Storage on IH35 and Teri is a gorgeous, spotless and air conditioned facility. It feels like a condo of storage units!
The storage manager, Shai, was thorough, explained everything and gave me a tour. I had questions and she took the time to answer with a smile, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She had many other things going on at the same time, but made you feel as you were the priority. It was a great experience from the time I walked in -- until I left.
I hope she gets a much deserved raise -- she is definitely an asset to the company and a rare gem. Hands down one of the best experiences with a business that I have had in a long time.
It was very quick and easy to get my unit at public storage. Shai was nice and very helpful in explaining everything I would need to know about the unit. She gave me a walk through of the building, walked me through their mobile app that makes everything convenient, and she seemed to care about her job which is hard to find these days. The unit was clean and the price was good. Overall a good experience. Highly recommend

My experience with this location since it switched from LifeStorage to Public Storage has been a HUGE improvement. Shai at the front office has helped me every time I've visited my unit and is always so friendly, funny, and awesome at answering my questions because I am the worst at managing my unit haha.

Daniele was super helpful and friendly at this location! I was stuck in a stressful situation and she was extremely communicative and supportive and always made me feel like a priority.
Elevator was broken often, so made it harder to access the upstairs units when the other elevator was all the way on the other side of the building. There is no stair access. The employee was often snarky and passive aggressive in her responses to questions. There were lots of rat traps/poison all over, so there must be a rat problem.
Danielle is always very friendly and willing to answer all my questions.
She has been this way from the first time that I came in to pay my bill.

There are many public storage locations I could have chosen from but because of these two ladies customer centric approach, I chose this specific site. Highly recommend!
