I had a storage with Simply Self Storage and they signed me up to pay 12.00 each month for insurance with Safeguard, and mid year Public Storage bought them out. Fast forward I moved my things out 03/30/2024 and there was rat feces everywhere. I submitted a claim with Orange Door Insurance and they told me I had insurance still under Simply Storage and not Orange Door, I cannot find one number for Simply Storage however I have paid 12.00 each month for insurance and now I cannot even find out where to file a claim for my damaged property. My property manager at the storage was not helpful, she sounded very nonchalant like she didn't even care and did not try to assist me in trying to get this resolved. My concern is who have I been paying insurance to each month and why can't I find this information anywhere. Also when Public Storage bought Simply Storage out why didn't our insurance automatically stop and go over to Orange Door.

The most shady company you can find! Run away!
They don't honor the contract. Bill you for different amounts. You can't get anyone on the phone to take ownership of the wrongly bills amount they charge every month.
On top of all of it, their super safe, 24/7 under surveillance facility allowed ppl to go on my boat to have food and drinks and leave a whole mess on it.

Awful Awful Awful. I paid for a refrigerated unit that for the first few months was fully functional. Cool unit below 40° Fahrenheit. When I came to get my things my unit was above 90° RAT INFESTED all my clothes destroyed babys mattress destroyed and when I brought the issue up to the very unprofessional employee Miss. Jessica she was more concerned about a refrigerator that was under the parking garage than my destroyed property this was on the same day and time as a tornado warning. This place should be shut down immediately at least til all the Rats are exterminated

The pretty lady at the front desk helped get us a storage unit expeditiously, was very professional and respectful as well. The property is well kept, organized, and secure. The employees even go around with a metal debris magnet to ensure clients don't run over nails, etc.

My unit was broken into and they didn't care. The area isn't the best, they are slow at fixing stuff. The price isn't bad,but the storage lot is a bit trashy! Doesn't have good ground keepers. Just be careful make sure your unit is covered more than the standard policy of $2000. I regret storing with them.

Let me start by saying Dijour, I believe is how you spell it was extremely helpful working with. I don’t think he usually works at this location but he made sure I received great customer service! He showed me different unit options and gave a helpful opinion on which unit would fit my needs. We were having issues with my code opening the gate but he worked to solve the issue while I was there so that it wouldn’t be a issue when I came back with my belongings. He also got my a great price for my unit which I really appreciated also! He was all around very pleasant to work with.
