Public Storage does not prorate for partial months should you leave mid-month. All outside entry and not easy to drive through the tight alleyways of this location.
Would not recommend choosing them with all of the other options.

The process to reserve a unit was extremely easy. The 10x15 unit is less than the 10x10 unit I had at Extra Space Storage. I wanted to move my reservation up a day so called the facility. Jason was extremely pleasant and helpful. I am honestly not use to this great of service.

Just reserved a 10×10 no less than 15min ago... after submitting my card info (through the website as directed) the reservation was taken. No warning nor explanation told. Just that the space was no longer available. No others options to assist. Thanks for nothing Public Storage in India Land/Fort Mill Hwy.
The gentleman who assigned my storage unit was such a sweetheart. He was very accommodating for me and really eased my worries about moving out of state and having to leave most of my belongings there. Definitely would recommend! Very happy with the service and his great attitude.
Expensive but needed. The gate was stuck wide open- I don’t know if they did that on purpose to make it easier to get in and out of there. I just hope it is closed while there is no one in the office!

Great experience! Crystal, the manager, helped me choose a unit that was best for my needs. She walked me around the property until we found one that worked best with my physical limitations, answered my many questions with kindness and offered solutions to my concerns. She helped me deal with the paperwork line by line until everything was in order. Crystal helped me download the Public Storage app onto my phone to make gate access easier and explained different ways to pay the bills. As a Senior, I appreciated her patience and helpfulness. She made the whole process easy!

They don’t prorate the last month. It’s in the contract you sign but it is miss leading when you use the app to set a checkout day. They say you could be fined if not out but how when you’re paying for the unit until the end of the month anyway? Just keep the lock on until the end. You’re paying for it until the end of the month either way. No one ever seems to be around in the office

Storage units are significantly smaller than advertised. They are run down, dirty. Layout is poor. Go somewhere else.
There was a mixup with my original reservation when I arrived with my moving truck. Per the reservation on the phone with central public storage, I was supposed to have climate controlled roll door and instead it was a regular door - not acceptable for my movers. In addition, on the phone they said it would fit 5 rooms and was too small. Linda provided great service at the 9896 charlotte hw fort mill location and got me into another unit, not climate controlled but I was in a bind and she did her best to accommodate me!
