I scheduled a move out of my Unit October 24th 2024 online and notified the office everything was moved out. Their employee forgot to take me out of the system. Come November 2nd they are still charging me for a storage unit I no longer use. The site manager says that they're sending my fraudulent bill to collections and they can't fix the error that they created. They are hitting me with late fees now. I reported this location to the Better Business Bureau. Do not do business with this company.
Great customer service from a lady named Medina and a gentle named Darien, both super helpful and knowledgeable. These two were great… definitely keepers.
They use scam publicity, they say $1, but then they charge you $60 and is not any option to cancel. They are scammers. Do not do bussiness go other sites.

Upon visiting the West Chester Public Storage I was mesmerized by the customer setup that this place offers. Rows of storage spaces, parking spaces, an array of different sizes and by far one of the cleanest storage facilities in the county. Does it offer everything? Possibly. Another aspect of this business that goes without saying and is very underestimated is the senior level customer service that is offered by the Staff. Meet in person or schedule an appointment with them at any time such as I did and you yourself can be found star struck by what this location offers
This was my first time visiting this location. I was a bit nervous but Karen made my experience here simple and easy. She is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I appreciate all the help she provided.

Don't use this property. I moved out by the end of the month several months ago and gave a months notice and a second notice the night of the move. They charged me a full month for the next month and stopped taking my calls. Now I have a collection that I don't actually owe. I was paying upwards of $150 for a unit each month for about 2 years. They are horrible for treating me, a loyal customer, this way. Take your money elsewhere. If by chance management replies to this comment please leave your direct email for me to contact. Have some integrity, thanks.
Been over a year, and they still haven't fixed the wireless exit forcing you to use the keypad that hundreds of others have touched

PLEASE rent a storage place somewhere else. There are many better storage facilities in the West Chester, PA with better service and rates. We were paying $471.04 a month for a 10 x10 storage unit. (It was actually an 8 x 8. We measured.) We had already paid for the month we moved out. We moved on the 5th of the month. We asked for a prorated refund and were refused. The person in the office says they don't give refunds and that we would have access the remainder of the month. This did not happen. We were locked out that day. The unit had become mold ridden and the ceiling was crumbling. Photos below.

I am not usually 1 who leaves reviews, but Tiara at this location has been professional & helpful going above & beyond to make sure I was taken care of & sorting things out - huge shoutout to Tiara from the Public Storage Team.
I had been asking the business for over two years to fix the door to my storage unit. They never did. They raised the price of the unit with no notice. I was leaving because of both incidents. The manager did take off 50% because a male employee could not get the door opened. I was told that the door needs to be replaced because of the rust and corrosion. But now the company is calling and saying that they are putting a lein against me if I don't pay the 50% that was taken off by the grounds manager.

Excellent service as usual
This storage facility is awful. There is an active leak in my unit that has ruined my new couch. I have called the property manager 4 days in a row to see if they could work with me to get this resolved. Nobody has called back and I have stopped by the office during the day multiple times but there is never anyone there. While all of this is going on, they also sent a letter to inform me that my rent is increasing by 28% after only being there for 5 months.
Tiara has great customer service and office is really clean i also love the security of the facility.
The place is well organized and it was easy to access. The staff is the best because they are very professional, personable and accommodating. The storage space is good for the price so affordability is another plus. I highly recommend. Shoutout to Jay. He’s amazing.

Incompetent and unreliable is what comes to mind with my experience with this place. I was supposed to meet the manager to finalize everything after scheduling a time just for the office to be locked and the manager not answering the phone for almost an hour I still rented a unit and when it was time to move in there were multiple locks on my assigned storage space and when I tried calling the manager I got no answer even after trying countless times for an hour AGAIN and this was during business hours. I was forced to spend more money on a different storage place because of my time constraint of having the U-Haul truck. This place is a prime example of finding the cheapest option and getting what you pay for. Unacceptable attitude when I finally got a call back days later about how I just wanted to cancel and get my money refunded. Unprofessionalism at it's worst.

Their rates are insane and I've been a huge customer. They haven't done a thing they've said they would do and I've had all of my storage damaged and I can't even get into a present unit bc they were supposed to cut off a seized lock months ago and still haven't. I've been lvwr charged on months they promised zero rent and to top it all off th property manager won't even return my phone calls. I'm disabled and it's very hard for me to get to the property and once I finally did I of course wasn't able to get into my unit because of their mistakes. Utterly ridiculous all around. Just stay sway period.

Easy to get in and out
This is very late, but I wanted to thank Jay for his work ethic and kindness. A few weeks ago, I was moving things into my storage unit and dropped a box on my lock with the key still inside. I discovered that the key broke off inside the lock, so I went to the office and Jay was there. He tried helping me push the key out from the back through the pin-hole, but the key was bent in such a way it was NOT coming out. Jay gave me a lock to put on the storage unit while I went out and bought my own (saved two dollars but I prefer this lock anyway). When I came back, I discovered that Jay was in a medical boot!! As someone who was in a medical boot for his first two years of college, I immediately regretted the series of events that led to him needing to walk on his boot and cart his way to my storage unit. Those are NOT comfortable to walk in. However, Jay had a smile on his face the entire time and even cracked a few jokes with me. I read in a review that Jay is a manager - GOOD! We need more managers like Jay.

Went today to get a storage unit. Tiara and Jay were very welcoming and friendly! They walked me thru the paperwork, etc. And made everything feel very easy which I really appreciated. Then Jay walked me to the space personally while thoroughly explaining everything I need to know about how to actually get in the building using my special code. Even made me practice in front of him to make sure I could do it!

Tiara and Jay are really good customer service reps. Both are so accommodating! My reservation changed from outside to inside at no problem. The facility is clean and bright. It has great security with locking outside doors. It’s so rare to find a company that has great customer service personnel and fair rates. This is my 2nd time using this location.
Harry did a great job. He promptly left one location to cover at the west Chester location to ensure that my reservation was complete!
The people who work there are nice. There needs to be improvements to the facility. No toilet paper in the restroom.

I'm sorry this is late Jay. Jay was very helpful. I was moving out and I observed Jay helping another customer very professionally. I had an issue with Ice in front of my unit and Jay (a manager) dropped what he was doing to clear it up. As I was closing my account, there was a charge on my account from another unit and Jay (with some help from Violet) cleared it up and I was on my way in a timely manner.
I moved in on Thursday, 02/24/22 and dealt with Jay and Tiara. The whole process went smoothly, Jay walked me through from A to Z, the facility was nice and clean. I’d definitely recommend this place.
We went in on Thursday, 02/17/22 and dealt with Jay and Tiara and they were so professional, extremely nice and most of all helpful and made sure they went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we needed with our new storage unit space. The entire storage facility is 5 stars including both of those two staff members and I highly recommend if anyone moving for them to take their belongings there and deal with Jay and Tiara. Made such a long process so short, simple and easy for us not to mention they had the greatest attitudes and with excellent customer service skills! We need more people in the world like these two. Thank You both again and we will be seeing you guys again soon to move all our things in as soon as my stepdad is available to help us with the move and we'll bring back the lock with us. Thanks again so very much!
The 2 customer service representatives a gentleman by the name of Jay and the lady by the name of Tiara were very helpful and knowledgeable of the property and their units.
