Horrible communication.
October 14, I signed my lease with this company. Literally a week later on a Sunday morning at 9am I received a phone call that my monthly payment was past due. I asked how if I literally just signed up and paid for the first month last week. Confused, A week later I received another phone call regarding my bill past due. Again I ask how. After a few minutes of going back and forth the representative apologized and we ended the call. November 13th I recewived another phone call that the payment was past due. (SMH) here we go again.
I asked this rep, How is it overdue if the bill isn't due until tomorrow (Nov 14) she then put me on hold and said Yes, Sorry you are correct the bill is due tomorrow. This is just a courtesy call to remind you. I said okay thank you. November 14 comes I go online to pay the bill and received a $30 late fee. When they called me today again to ask for payment of the late fee. I asked how did I receive a late fee if the bill was due on the same day I paid it. She explained that the bill was due on the 13th which was the day before it was paid which was the 14th. I asked how, I have an email that says bill do on November 14th. 3 other people called me in regards to the bill being past due and confirmed it was due on the 14th once I've corrected them. Nobody never said anything about the bill being due on the 13th. Now all of a sudden it was due on the 13th and because it was paid on the 14th I received a late fee. Then the rep says I was trying to waive it for you but Public Storage require customers to be a customer for at least a year before they waive any fees.. Ridiculous I rented this storage due to me moving my business and needed some extra space, However I will be canceling this unit and finding another storage facility in the area. To much miscommunication for me.

She empathized with my unpleasant reasons for needing storage and was so patient and caring through the whole encounter. She very quickly was able to find me a unit that fit all my needs; space, financial, and even location in the building I preferred. This storage units have rats. When we made a complaint the manager was very unprofessional and rude. He didn’t want to help us move to another unit they would be rat free. Instead he kept reminding us that we signed a contract and that we have insurance. I informed him I know. That still doesn’t mean I want my stuff chewed on by rats. Unfortunately we will have to take off and pay full months of rent of storage. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away! Plus they went up on the rent even though the are rat infested! I warn you please stay away from the place!
Gina was so helpful to sign me up and helped me move an extra cart. She DID let a piece of furniture fall off which scuffed it up. 😩 But her heart was in the right place and she's a super nice person. I can tell she deals with a lot and does a good job. Thumbs up to a great person 👍🏻

The unit itself was fine, but about a year into renting we got a call saying that a bunch of units had been broken into and our stuff might have been stolen. Their one job is to protect and secure the units. After that happened, the prices went up ? We should have gotten a few months free due to our unit being broken into (the lock being broken and our unit rummaged through).
This location is weird to be I started using their storage services by paying around 200 something dollars and so far it has gone up to 450 something which is crazy how they keep up on increasing the cost
I’ve been using this facility since the end of December 2023 up until now March 2024 and the short time I’ve been with them has been extremely pleasant. First let me start by saying this facility is well kept, clean, quiet and very secure. You really have a peace of mind in this place as far as knowing your property is as safe as can be. Darnesha, the woman in the office is so friendly, patient and extremely helpful..she’s literally made every and any concern I’ve ever had such a breeze. Then they recently hired a 2nd girl who’s new by the name Gina. When I came to The Facility today 3/13/24 she was by herself at the front and gave me a heads up before asking my questions that she is new and is still training but will try her best to assist me as well as she can. Which I respected so much and she was way more knowledgeable than I think she even realized initially and answered my concerns practically as good as Darnesha did when she walked back in. A+ to this place and the wonderful women that work here making everything as helpful and convenient as possible.

I came in today to rent a storage unit and Pearl was very helpful and explained all details and answered all my questions along with taking me to my unit and also showed me how to enter through the gate and into the building to access my unit.
Do not use this facility. Customer service is apalling. The hours are 6 to 6 and you can only visit YOUR things during those hours
Pearl provided great customer service she even called us early to let us know what time will we be arriving for our reservation that we had. She was Very professional and took the time to answer all our question she was AWESOME!

I paid for climate control, and wasn't told "our air conditioning is broken and we may not have any for...oh...the next few days, weeks, or ?"
Today I went in and found the air unbreathable because someone put ..a gallon? Of mint oil open! In their locker.
You literally cannot breathe. My husband had an asthma attack and all my fabrics, pillows and so on in MY locker are probably ruined.
With no air conditioning there is also no way to clear the air.

Our storage unit was infested with rats and mice. Feaces everywhere. It ruined upholstered furniture and we had to clean everything else that was stored in there. Management did absolutely nothing about it. This location is right next to a dump. Obvious rodent problems. Avoid at all costs.
All the other fake 5 star reviews, all mentioning great customer service, and employees by name, are ridiculous and obviously paid for. No one talks to storage unit employees passed the check-in day, or knows their names. What a joke.
This place is now locking the doors to get into the storage sheds been using this place for years and I'm not the person on the account so I have to have my mother drive over here from jersey to get in. The woman at the desk is rude af now another code to have. And they always close at 6 another annoyance. Oh and the mice and recent bedbug infestation don't help.
