The public storage was amazing but we have mice poop on the floor and our old jackets and some reason the mice poop was on the old mattress even our old tv.

I’ve rented there for over a year with no issues . Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to leave my unit Carter And Brendan were Helpful and accommodating while i retrieved my things. I recommend this Storage Facility to anyone, and once again, thank you Brendan and Carter For your help.

This company is fraud. They show you whet you think is going to be a good deal and then charge you twice. The reps at the storage facility are very rude and disrespectful. They don’t know how to talk to people and actively listen to peoples concerns. Apparently they are mind readers and know what everyone is thinking. Clearly they should be billionaires because they know everything except how to speak to people. Don’t rent a storage unit from this place. They also have rats. The owner has no intentions on getting rid of them. They also double charge your account. Do not rent from them.
My first experience with using a storage unit- Lizz was amazing! She explained everything to me in detail, and helped making the decision on the size that I needed easy. It was busy in the office during the time that I was there. She politely handled a challenge that a customer was having with making her payment, and got to all of us in a timely manner. I truly appreciate Lizz's help.
*Unfortunately, I have to change my review from 5 stars to 1. The ONLY good thing about this place was the initial rental process. Within a year, my rent changed from $285 to $354 to $420. If the spike in rent wasn't bad enough, my unit was infested with mice droppings. I reached out to them several times about it. First, I was told to come in to meet with maintenance. When I arrived at the time they said, I was told that I was given the wrong information and that I needed to meet Terminix at my unit. I never received a call to let me know when to meet them. I tried calling. emailing the CEO's office, everything....nothing was done. When I was preparing to move out of the unit in August, I had to throw out boxes of merchandise as well as my some of my personal items (that were both worth a substantial amount of money) because there were mouse droppings in them. When I finally reached someone on the chat about it, I was told, "Put in a claim with your insurance company."
In a year, that place really went down. It claimed to have climate control but was extremely hot this summer. It smelled horrible inside the building and was dirty often.
Normally, I do not leave negative reviews, but this had to be said. For the amount of money that they charge, they HAVE to do better!
Liz assisted me today with storage rental. She was very pleasant and assisted me to make sure I was doing everything correctly.

I had a pleasant experience at this storage facility and would recommend it.
Facility is kept very clean and secure. I have witnessed employees, specifically Brandon, making rounds throughout the facility. Various sized spaces are offered at this safe location. Management of your account is easy and seem less through the website. Reminder emails are sent out to ensure timely payment for space.

This public storage place is disgustingly filthy, dirty and unfit to hold people’s possessions. The elevators don’t work properly one works and they don’t have enough carts to assist with taking your items to your unit.
WHAT A PIT!! It’s a shame really because it’s a brand new building and the building itself is beautiful. But the amount of garbage that people are leaving around mattresses, literal trash, etc. The next time I go back, I will be taking pictures and posting them. This is disgraceful people are disgusting. Why don’t you lit your own properties this way. It’s definitely gonna attract mice and bugs. I just started putting stuff in a unit there and I rented one of the bigger units and I’m literally ready to take my stuff out and get a refund. In the office, see this all going on and they don’t do a damn thing about it. it used to be for about a hot minute, that you had to give your ID to get a cart. Well, not anymore and you’re lucky if you can find one. Saturday afternoon the entire day people were there running around with their children running around in the loading and unloading area , clogging up the entire place couldn’t find a cart around at all. It’s disgraceful
Please, if you’ve just brought unit space in an auction on June 19th. My Sons bday was June 18th. I’m begging you, please can you keep all of my kids baby pictures and ultrasound pictures. I’m completely devastated. I’m a single mother and I lost some hours at my job eventually leading me to fall behind on payments. I can’t think straight and have been crying for the past three days straight. Please I’m begging you, I don’t want anything other than my bible and my kids personal things & pictures of my grandmothers, please, I cannot replace these things 🤧 😓😭I’m terribly distraught. I don’t know what else to do. Everything we owned was in that storage. We’ve lost everything.
I rented a unit for the first time so I wasn’t too familiar with room sizes and how many/type of items a unit could hold. The manager on duty was Cindy and she was great helping me choose the perfect unit for the items i needed stored. I’m glad i chose this location, the facility is clean and the customer service was excellent. Thank you for help today Cindy!
The facility itself is pretty ok. But what brings it down is the fact that the Entry/exit gate is always broken. You have to leave your ID just to get a cart, and the carts are limited because some days, it can get pretty busy around there.
All in All, it's ok. Not a bad place to store your things if you have the need. With all the malfunctioning, I am going to request a discount on my rent.
The Overall experience is ok.
AVOID at all costs. Staff is rarely there during scheduled hours and you can not sign out a cart without them there. Always filthy. The main doors have been broken for atleast a year. Climate controlled is a joke, hot in the Summer and cold in the Winter.They raise the rates every few months. And there are mice. Calls to management have never been returned. It’s horrendous. Don’t waste your time or risk your stuff. All of the customers I’ve talked to there are also upset and in process of leaving.
Today was a great experience to meet Lana. She was the best an help me with my situation. As of today I will leave my belongings in the unit. The staff that was there was the worst. Rodent I tested and they didn't care 1 thing about. Again very grateful for the help I received today. Thanks again Lana & Chris

I have my storage unit there for a little over two years. They went up on the price at least four times while I was there. When it was time for me to move out just recently mice got into one of my boxes. Luckily, nothing of importance was in there, but it ate through all the paper, they don’t keep the building itself very clean at all .
One thing I don't like is they don't really clean up here. Had issues with mice in the storage. And their prices are expensive.

The entry doors have been broken forever. The place is dirty and the water fountains have been turned off . The push carts are never in place . We tenants pay a high bill every month the least we can get is good service . I am hoping corporate reads this and fixes the problems.

This place is horrible, once again the automatic doors are constantly broken. When I am able to park in the building I have to ask people to move from in front of my locker so I can get into my locker. I started renting this space when it was Beyond Storage, since public storage took over this place has really gone downhill. The worst part is they have the nerve to raise my rent without providing me with the services I was originally receiving when I first started renting this locker. This place is still bad. The drive in doors are still broken, they did have them replace once, but they're now broken again and has been for months. Almost every time I come to my storage the one door that's supposed to be closed for Security is almost always stuck open. But then they want to ask for a rent increase every year. Nope... I'm calling my attorneys again about the Security here at Public Storage

Everything was so clean and neat. I loved how she kept it together when customers was upset about the drive up doors. I was to, but they will get it fix eventually I hope lol. Door never works 😤
I rent at the Clifton Heights location, and have been there for approximately a year. At first, everything was fine. I picked this location specifically since they have the drive-in option, which is handy, especially since I am disabled.
In approximately December 2022, the exit garage door was ONCE AGAIN damaged by someone with questionable driving skills.
In February 2023, my rent was raised, but the exit door had not been fixed. As of the date of this review, the door remains broken and unusable. This angers me, since everybody has to park outside and use a regular sliding door to enter. Why do I have to pay a rent increase when the building remains on a sub-par level?
Corporate, please look into this. Thank you.
Pricing for your unit will INCREASE every year with less than 15 days notice for no reason and very unreasonable pricing.
Nikisha gave us an excellent example of customer service done right. She was polite, informative and obviously enjoys her job and meeting people. I've never used this service before and she made the rental process very clear.

The employees here are exceptional and the facility is clean which is why I gave it 2 stars. The pricing here is awfully high. I use to pay $58 a month here and I now pay more than half that amount. I use to have unlimited access to my unit which worked great with my hours at work and the ease of moving things during the after hours and now I no longer have unlimited access which I believe is insane given the price increase. I pay over $100 a month for you someone to tell me when I can and can't access the unit I am paying for !?! Nah.
This unit is far better than the last one clean and the front desk was helpful. The last place on landsdowne destroyed all my belongings and then wanted me go thru all these hoops to give me 250 for items worth over 5,000 dollars I paid all this insurance and the company stole my money . I don’t care for public storage as a company and won’t be using them but the storage place on Clifton Heights is clean and friendly.

Is this place is very good because you pull your truck in and you load it up or offload it and you are out of the heat but the only downfall is if there are too many people you cannot fit in there but overall it's a decent place
So let's change this review from 4 to 5 stars. Dealt with Brandon (I hope I got his name right, I suck at names) on Friday the 14th 2022. I signed up for a unit for myself and he was super helpful and polite. After we moved in we found a unit closer to where I needed to be (taking some stuff out of an overflowing locker into my own) qnd decided to see of he was willing to help me move units. Went upstairs thinking the worst except he eagerly swapped me over with zero issues and none of the "dude seriously I don't feel like it attitude" super super helpful. Move employees should be like him. 👍 A+++++ all around. Thanks

Rented a 10*20 unit for $181. 12 months later the cost had increased to $281, as a result of an increase at 6 months of 25% and another at 12 months of 20%. Would have been fine with cost of living increases, but could not continue with this pace of price inflation every six months. So I moved out.
I was nervous about placing my valuables in a storage unit after hearing so many horror stories. I did my research and came across public storage in Clifton. I was greeted by Brandon, the manager and expressed all of my concerns. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my list of questions. Brandon gave me a tour of the storage units which were surprisingly to my standard of immaculate. The process was easy and I feel confident about the security of my possessions. Quality of customer service has definitely declined over the years and I appreciate the staff providing a positive experience for me. I will be referring my friends and family to this location from now on!

Safe, secure and out of the elements
Once again I first rented my space here from Beyond Storage the place was clean good staff I rented my drive up locker with the understanding I'm renting a premium space, with drive up access, the old staff would come out the office and make sure if you don't have a drive locker the you park on the right of the driveway to give passage too drive up lockers. First there was the issue with the roll up doors constantly being broken, now they finally fixed the doors, now the public Storage staff sits in the office and watch people park on front of other people locker even with the second lane being clear. The young black lady told me I can't ask someone to move from in front of my locker, I told her that's her job, but since she don't want to do it I will. I'm paying for a premium space, so I can drive up too my locker. This place has turned into the hood since Public Storage took over I've spoken with the General Manager before it look like he's change staff but they're still not any good, like I said Beyond Storage people would come out the offi e and make sure the drive up storage lane remain clear, this public Storage staff just don't care

Rip offs, even the first month says pay only $1.00. that's before they charge you a $26.00 service fee. For what I don't know. And the woman in the Clifton heights location is very rude and nasty and should never be in customer service. I need help, called and got her who couldn't answer my question, told me to come in Person then hung up the phone. She answered when I called back but again she hung up and couldn't help me this was day 2. Pick any other storage and I'm sure you'll get a better experience

I think this place and the manager is awesome. The facility is clean and well lite. The manager is friendly and professional as well as being knowledgeable of the process and facility. The storage spaces are also clean, safe spacious (depending on the unit rented). I moved from a storage facility that I had to use the Buddy system because it was not well lit or clean.
