Milwaukie Climate Controlled Storage Near Highway 99E
Storage units in Milwaukie are just off Highway 99E, a couple miles west of I-205. All-indoor climate controlled storage units in an assortment of sizes are available on-site.
Golfers who frequent nearby Eastmoreland Golf Course can tuck away their clubs in a 5x5 storage unit after hitting the fairways. The historic public course dates back to 1918 and offers lush surroundings and vistas.

Pearl is an amazing employee you have, she made me feel welcome and comfortable and that is very important in your line of business. She is the first one that has made me feel comfortable, so friendly and i am in customerservice. I have another storage unit at another location but dont feel comfortable going there so when i looked at this location and met her i decided to get a smaller unit for her location, it is always clean including bathrooms, she is always in the office and if she is inspecting units she is easy to find. But when i show up she is in the office so so important and so so nice! I dropped by in the afternoon hoping to rent a unit. No one was in the office so I called the number on the door. After speaking with someone I was told that I’d get a call back in 10-15 minutes. I made sure to let the person on the phone that I was on location. After about 50 minutes sitting in my car in 90+ degree weather no call. I returned home. Finally got a call over an hour after the first phone call. I began explaining what had happened and the call was disconnected. No attempt to call me back. I called back the number on the door and spoke with a couple other representatives who were unwilling to make things right and continued to try and “close the deal” I’m sorry but wasting an hour of my time is totally unacceptable.

Well we were robbed by staff the insurance has never came through they raised the rent to triple then the manager ends up with our stuff basically they do illegal practices and we're taking them to court our source there ex employee said they got into over 40 units in a week he's now in jail for other crimes. Bottom line they are theives

If you value your belongings go somewhere else. My storage unit was broken into. They wouldn’t let me see the security video , and wouldn’t tell me how they gained access to a secure building .In my opinion it was an inside job and that James was involved by the comments he made to me . It been over 4 months and there fly by night insurance has still yet pay the claim. On top of that they raised the my unit $50 per month. This place is ridiculous.
Update 2 weeks after this post my storage unit was burglarized again . This company's failure to secure the building is complete negligence. If you’re storage unit was also broken into please contact me to form a class action lawsuit against Johnson creek llc .

My main complaints are there are never enough carts during the weekend, security seems light as I saw two guys wearing Halloween masks leave quickly on bicycles, and they raised my rates 20% after 6 months.

Our storage unit was broken into and Public Storage waited until 10 minutes before closing to let my husband and I know. They deflected any responsibility, noting that this could happen "anywhere" and they have consistently raised their prices since we moved our stuff into the storage unit over a year ago. This place does not care about your valuables--they care about their money and liability.

I’m experiencing some issues with an unrelated moving company. I need to do some research and understand which items were not delivered to my unit here as they should have been. Leaky roof.. they don't care and won't change my unit. Rent was never what it was supposed to be 97. It went straight to 160 and its my first month
Had to move locations due to behavior from James the building manager. Purely combative and dismissive. Also, after a 3 minute interaction, if he doesn’t agree with you, he is fully prepared to escalate. Due to his lack of action and response the building isn’t secure at the moment.
Public Storage district manager Monica helped me out with the situation kindly and solved the issue super quick. I think Public Storage is actually pretty great, but not this location at this time.
I'm happy with the personal customer experience with the employees. But I am not happy with the fact that I have only had the space for 3 months and it has gone up $30. Therefore I had to move my whole storage to the same size space which was cheaper. Makes no sense!
My unit was broken into and several item stolen. Facility seems unsecured. Spoke with several other renters as I vacated my unit and they also had burglarized units. Manager already know cop on my police report from previous break in. Dont keep anything you value to this property.

I discovered that my lock had been cut through and replaced by thieves, who ransacked my space. This is NOT a safe place to store things despite appearances.
Thousands of dollars worth of personal and irreplaceable items were stolen out of my unit, all under the watchful eyes of Public Storage. I had been a paying customer for years. Never again.

The person on duty at the Johnson Creek storage this morning ( 12-18-22)was extremely rude and unhelpful. He has no business interacting with the public.

The District Manager was responsive and empathetic to the concerns raised in my initial review. He made arrangements to honor the employee's promise of a refund and to compensate for my inconvenience. (This weekend I helped other friends move into a different Public Storage unit and all went well).
⚠️ ⚠️ My storage unit at this location just has been BROKEN INTO, and ROBBED!!! The was a lock on the door provided by the facility, but it didn't stop the thieves.

Definitely would not recommend! Aside from the frequent break ins general lack of safety, i have not been able to get in the building (to get to my stuff) on multiple occasions. I plan on moving my stuff out as soon as I can.
The only good thing about public storage on Johnson creek in Portland Oregon is the manager Shawn. He was nice and help full. My storage unit was broken into and in the mess of me cleaning up and moving stuff out of my storage I forgot to stop the payment from being pulled. I was refused a refund for the month . Later a manager called me and she was amazing and kind just like Shawn. Thank you Monica for helping me feel like public storage is not a bunch of crooks.

RAMPANT theft - back door is broken and mgmt does nothing. People come in/out as they please, security system never works, many, many units broken into lately with thousands in stolen property. MGMT does nothing. Avoid at all costs.

Extremely disappointed with this business since the change over from Extra space Storage. Multiple issues with billing, etc. Currently trying to get my things out and my unit has been padlocked. Why? Because I didn’t update my new CC so they can charge it for October. Ridiculous considering I won’t have anything in unit. I am moving out of it September 30…. Omg. Such insane behavior and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

This place was not great. Out of the 2 elevators only one worked, and that is still a stretch of the word. Very slow. Added 40 minutes to the job.

Rented a small unit a few years ago when this was owned by Extra Space. Never had to think about it, never a problem. We were able to access our unit after business hours, which was nice. We are going to be moving and went to the unit at 7 this evening to pick up some of the boxes and other packing supplies that are in the unit. Our gate code was accepted, but failed to open the doors. We attempted multiple times. Another customer was in the parking lot and said he had the same issues. The access hours posted right above the keypad stated that the access hours were until 9:00. No one was in the office, and calls to multiple phone numbers on the Public Storage website - which claimed it had customer service agents available until 10pm - led to the same phone tree that terminated in a notification that their agents were only available until 6pm. There are other storage companies around. Go with literally any of them. If Public Storage buys your current storage company, immediately cancel and put your stuff somewhere else. Heck, live with boxes piled in your studio apartment. At least you'll know where your stuff is and be able to access it at any time.
Not only was my unit broken into and everything taken but the company just replaced the lock and I was never notified of the break in.
I was made to feel it was my fault because I had not been there in 3 months.

After being a faithful customer who was broken into once and always pays on time they had the nerve to up my bill by 35% for no reason this month and since. I visit a few weeks ago to get into my unit and my lock has been changed with zero notice or explanation because my unit had been hijacked by theives again! Over half my valuables items have been stolen from me casually because I was the one who informed management of the break in once I found out weeks after it happened originally, they had no clue. They provide minimal video surveillance and a convenient mandatory insurance policy to cover their lack of security. I hate Public Storage and hate that they took over the place I went to after leaving their terrible company to begin with. After talking with a local PDX officer this is commonplace amognst all public storage facilities as in 1-3 times a week so there will be a class action lawsuit to follow 😏 stay tuned
They apparently changed the locks for the whole building without notification that they would do so. They raised rents. I pay my rent every month and haven’t been there in months and went to get my stuff tonight and couldn’t get into my unit. I’m very upset. I can do work I needed to do tonight because of this.
My husband and I moved out of our home and traveled for a few months. We went to clear out our storage unit and found that someone had been in our storage unit. Many valuables, including my husband's fishing poles that were his fathers. Lots of family memories gone. Absolutely disgusted that our experience there was horrible. I would not ever store anything here again and urge others to use caution and your items ARE NOT safe.
Originally when I got a unit at this location it was Extra Space Storage. I got this unit mainly because of the access hours. I have never had issues until the change of ownership.
Since the change in ownership my storage cost has went up twice and this last time it went up $54 which I think is absolutely ridiculous. The access hours have changed which was a huge upset to customers. Today I came in as I just moved and needed to use my storage…the elevators are out of use for 2 days. I know things happen, but there seems to be a handful of issues that keep happening and it’s very displeasing.
Lynn is the best on site manager. She's helped me with several issues I've had and is promt with her return phone calls and even offers to help me move items that look heavy. She's a great addition to the complex.

I absolutely despise Public Storage, these five stars are for Lynn, as for the policy that lovely lady is required to enforce... 👎

I’m giving three stars only because the new manager Lynn is such a pleasure to work with and helped make the process to vacate my unit very simple and straightforward! She has been the best thing to happen to this facility as far as I can tell and is a model example of how to make the most of a bad situation! After 7 months in this facility, it’s been nothing but policy changes, management changes, and price hikes that have all somehow had my bill consistently inconsistent, as well as landing me several fees for unannounced change of policy and ownership. The whole experience was a joke, but again, Lynn was a pleasure to deal with, and I hope she can turn this place around, it’s a great location with a lot of potential, and the units themselves are all shapes and sizes! Good luck Lynn and I wish you the best!

New management is super helpful and nice. My move in and move out were both set up in about 10 minutes. Recommend for sure!
I was renting units at this location while it went through a change in ownership of the facility. The switch did not go smoothly, and the re-establishing of payment processes took time to work properly. Through it all, the manager, Lynn, put in a lot of energy to successfully unravel the mess left to her. She sorted it all out with computer searches and phone calls until I was satisfied. I was disappointed in the corporate change being poorly done, but very pleased with Lynn's coolness under pressure and great attitude, especially since I was not the only one unhappy. Great work! She made the difference between me staying or finding a new facility.
Great location. Lynn is knowledgeable, personable, and keeps the location clean! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She has made the transfer to public storage very easy. Always helpful and ready to answer any questions.
