Safe and secure. But very expensive. $268.00 a month for a 10x10. It was only $144.00 a couple of years ago. With no improvements or upgrades.

Grate services
Staff is kind and attentive, but the pricing policy is a scam. If you don't prepay they will raise your rate $40-75 every few months. The 10x20 unit I rented started at $200 a month and is now $390 a month. The staff doesn't control that so I don't blame them personally, it's just another example of corporate greed.

Later After being in the unit, I observed Mike cleaning the halls and being very nice cleaning and working around customers unit stuff in the hallways and said he’d come back later to get that area. Rates have doubled in a short amount of time.
I am not one to leave bad reviews.. But I can’t let others go through this. We chose this place about 4 months ago because the great pricing. We thought, a farther drive, but the price is worth it and we don’t go to it often.
They’ve now increased the pricing drastically, $45-75, during that time.
The facility is clean, yes, but if you’re choosing it because it has good pricing, don’t choose here! They will increase it continuously for no reason. Who knows, maybe in a year I’ll be paying triple!

I've used this location for about a year. The change to public storage has been awful. They're very overpriced and very hard to communicate with. They won't give any details in a message and when you call back you have to wait on hold and leave them a message. Just email the info. There are better options very close by
Ed is the perfect onsite manager. Always friendly and personable.
Don't rent here. My previous unit in B building had the lock tampered with and approx $1000 stolen. There's no cameras inside. There's a fire exit to the street with no camera. They could not help find the criminal and I think it may have been an inside job. They ask what contents you store and then poof value item #1 gone! They are bait and switch with rates! every few month try to raise by 90%! My stuff still gone, my heart still broken!
Just this week (10-28-23) I am seeing several reports on Nextdoor regarding this location that several trailers were vandalized and many valuable items stolen. Don't trust your items will be safe and secure here. They don't have enough cameras and really don't care.

Facility is clean and in good repair. Easy access and a nice location. The cost of unit went up every 3 months. Over the two years of renting a unit here, the cost tripled. At move out I saw a LOT of empty units. There are many other storage options available with locked-in pricing. Pick one of those unless you only need it for a month or two.
Was able to reserve unit online, super easy process from start to finish. No issues with payments, access, etc. Facility always seemed to be clean on the inside. Outside could use a little help as far as trash on the ground here and there. Move out was a breeze as well. Overall had a good experience. Would recommend and would use again myself.

We rented a unit here for several months. Getting it set up was very easy--even when I called back to switch to a bigger unit. The unit was clean and the area well-lit. It felt very secure. It was also easy to cancel when we no longer needed the unit. The person onsite during the daytime is very helpful and great to work with.

During my years of having this rental unit too many things changed for me like the access hours limited and the rate kept going up that seemed like monthly and it just became unaffordable.
Extra storage has been a great place to store all things . They are very accommodating and easy to work with , the storage containers are clean and I have felt very safe keeping my things stored there.

Ed who rents out storage units here at the witchhazel site is amazing... For some individuals it's not always present having to rent one and sometimes can be down right nerve wracking... That was me but Ed helped in every way he could to help my situation and in the end I walked out feeling taken care of regardless my situation...so thank you Ed you rock don't let anyone tell you different....

The monthly rent did not state that it was a promotional rate. The rent doubled after 4 months. The unit needed repairs before I rented it. They requested that I leave a key for them for the repairs. They had me sign a cut lock form even though it was not me that requested the lock to be cut. When I did give them a key, they had me sign a hold harmless form which was meant for allowing the employees to open the unit for deliveries, but it was not my request but theirs. I should not have allowed them to do any of these things.
Property manager Ed Fox was so kind and helped me to find the right storage size. He also gave me clear instruction of how to operate the gate, completed the renting contract quickly, tried different discount options to fit my budget, and to save me 1 month free. I highly recommend to come to this location and work with Mr. Ed Fox to have a good solution for your storage needs.
Quick and easy online setup. Esign documents. Easy pay so you don't have to worry "did i pay my storage bill?" And to top it off bigger than expected locker to store the stuff.

Overall had a great experience with extra space storage signing up for a 10x10 storage unit price was decent and customer service was excellent I would definitely recommend this storage for anyone who needs to store their private property

Facility was always clean, staff is friendly, respectful, helpful, and fairly easy to get ahold of. Staff was respectful and caring when hearing we were moving out and helpful where they could be, 9ncluding locking open doors etc to make moveoit easier.
The storage space was clean and easy to sign up. The reason for the low rating was two months into renting the space they increased my monthly fee from 126 to 200+ dollars, effectively raising the price by over 40 percent. I felt this was shady and unprofessional. Using low prices to get you in and then raising them once you moved all of your belongings in. It seems they’re banking on you either being too lazy to move your stuff again, or possibly not being able to move it out at all. I won’t be using them again.

Inflation from the fall of 2021(when I started renting the unit) to today is 6.2 percent. You raised my rent by over 7 times that amount. And contrary to your statement “we raise rent from time to time” I’d encourage you to read the pages and pages of reviews where many people report the same behavior as me. You would think a company worth 24 billion dollars would stay away from the shady business practices but clearly they can’t. Save yourself the hassle and take your money elsewhere.
The facility is relatively new and well maintained. And like all Extra Space Storage locations that I have utilized, the staff is very polite and accommodating. Compared to other storage options in the area they have the best prices -- at least for the first 4 months anyways... That's the Extra Space Storage secret. Whereas, most other facilities will lock in the price for the first year, ESS will raise the rate after 4 months! The fifth month you're there plan on your rates going up by about 20%
UPDATE: The rate on my 10' x 15' went up substantially a while back and I was considering my options. While talking to the facilities manager, Ed, he stated that he had a 10' by 10' a few units down from mine that was considerably less expensive. I opted to downsize and use the opportunity to get rid of a bunch of junk. It took me longer than expected to move out of my old unit and get everything into the new one. During that time, Ed was extremely understanding and accommodating. I can't say enough about his assistance in making my transition as painless as possible. Every employee of ESS that I've had interactions with in the past have always been very pleasant and accommodating, but Ed's understanding and patience went above and beyond. Thank you very much Ed!
Bad experience with web site/login, but a rep called and walked me through completing the rental agreement on the phone and was very helpful
They were incredibly accommodating when I needed to downsize my unit yesterday. I've had storage units at several different places in town and this has been the most helpful experience I've had.
Aaron helped us get set up for an rv storage spot. He was great and the process was quick and easy. This location is well designed, clean, and secure. It’s easy in, easy out, and less expensive than the place down the road.
1 year later update: Extra Storage raised the space rent by over 30% about 6 months after moving in. There was nothing about their costs or the economy at the time that justified that, except that could. Beware!
Ed, Markus, and honestly the entire team at Extra Space Storage (Witch Hazel) was phenomenal. I work in the service industry myself, which just means I’m super picky about customer service— and their customer service was hands down, worthy of 5 stars. They were so easy to work with, and were so accommodating when our storage needs changed. They made sure we had the right sized unit, and helped us find one that fit our budget, as those needs changed. I will definitely be recommending Extra Space Storage to friends who have storage needs!
