The facility is clean and secure, the mobile app was a bit spotty about opening the gate so keep your code handy when visiting. The best thing about the place was that the staff, in particular Kim, where very nice and helpful. If there was a Kim at every job, the world would run better. Also, I was reading someones one star review and they were furious that they kept getting charged after their move out date because they locked the unit after they left for the last time. YOU PURCHASED THE LOCK FROM THEM! That's your lock and they don't even have a key to it, so how did you expect them to access it? This isn't some sneaky detail hidden in the fine print, it's just how it works.

Raised my rent by 30% overnight. And then they did it again, and again, all within 15 months. They exploit the fact that it’s time consuming and costly to move by aggressively and repeatedly raising your rent. It’s egregious. In addition, I’ve asked over and over and over for management to address an issue with my unit, and they never get back to me. Don’t store your belongings here.

It was very good, they(16851 Cornel road storage staff) helped us with all questions we asked. Very informative, cooperative and friendly. I recommend this public storage.

I rented a storage unit at the Beaverton Cornell Rd. location. Kelly helped me get set up with the perfect one. He was great! He answered all my questions and efficiently and flawlessly walked me through the set up process. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with the location and knew how to access it easily. Plus, I loved that it was super clean! It was a 5-star experience!

Working with Christine at Public Storage at the Cornell location was quick and simple. Her professionalism and knowledge of the process of signing up for a storage unit was excellent. Her level of excellence is something that would keep me renting at Public Storage rather than looking at other locations. Thank you Christine for the care you took helping me get a unit.

We got there on move in day and Christine was great. She helped us upgrade our unit to an outside unit after we realized we needed more space and with the whole process.

PRICE GOUGING CRIMINALS. THE FREQUENCY BY WHICH THEY RAISE YOUR RENT BY 20-40% OVERNIGHT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM.

I wish I could give this garbage hole zero stars. I used auto-payment and kept my card on file for the 12 months I used the space. Paid like clockwork. I notified them online that I would be out by the end of the month originally agreed upon. My husband moved everything out as agreed, swept the floor, locked it, and left. THERE IS NEVER ANYONE IN THE OFFICE TO TALK TO. So I called and left a message that we were moved out. We never returned as the security entrance access verified. And the unit is empty.... which means we moved our stuff out on the last day we show up as accessing the secure entrance. Duh. I started getting late payment letters and FINALLY got ahold of the "manager" who is apparently being paid for doing absolutely nothing. She agreed that it was all a big misunderstanding because my husband left the lock on the unit. HOW WOULD HE KNOW NOT TO LOCK IT AND WHO WOULD HE RETURN IT TO?!?? WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE IF SOMEONE ELSE ACCESSED IT WHILE UNLOCKED? She assures me that she will take care of it and I foolishly believe her, to my detrement. So she doesn't take care of it after all, and apparently, I am now in collections with a hefty late fee charge added. I HAD excellent credit, and now it is ruined, and I am furious@@!!@@ I did everything I was supposed to do. Can you sue a company for negligence that adversely impacts such an important part of your life? Shame on this place. I was an excellent customer and deserve better. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. THERE ARE NO RESPONSIBLE OR COMPETENT ADULTS HANDLING YOUR PRECIOUS POSSESSIONS, YOUR CARD ON FILE, YOUR CREDIT! They must have paid their friends and family for the rave reviews because they are never there and laugh when you mention it. My biggest regret is that I won't be there when karma catches up with them. BIG FAT ZERO!

They are terrible communicators and lock people out of their units for no reason. But don't not pay because they won't let you access it because then they will auction it. I had to pay for a unit for , 2 months with no word on why I couldn't access it despite the numerous calls I made .. then had to pay a fee on top of it all . If I were you I would find a different storage place that doesn't have to buy reviews to look good.

Everything went smoothly and how helpful agent Kim to provide details and every steps with smiles made my day awesome to start with. Definitely be using this location again the the future.

The door to my unit came off track on a Sunday at the end of Kim’s shift. She was kind and caring enough to help me fix it so I didn’t have to worry about my items being open to whoever passed by. Kim went above and beyond and I really appreciated her help.

Very nice clean good customer service. Only one complaint there was no airflow or air conditioning on the 2nd level where my storage unit was and it was a 90 degree day it just made it worse. But other than that it was fine. They had air conditioning on the ground level I just couldn’t believe that they wouldn’t have any kind off airflow for their customers to breathe on the upper levels.

Our stuff was safe for over a year, which is what’s important. What wasn’t fun was searching for an employee for over an hour so we can do the “move out” process. Ended up having to call corporate and leave the key in the drop box.

The unit is immaculately clean and the security is great. Jacob was extremely helpful. He walked me through the steps of accessing my storage unit and then efficiently led me through the sign-up process.

don't shop around for price, this is a name-brand facility with personable customer service.

David was very nice and personable, and helped me save money when another public storage employee failed to (at another location). David was also knowledgeable and just all-around helpful!

Normally good. Today, they decided to block the only entrance with a boom lift, UHaul van, and someone’s SUV. The other entrance is exit only. So unless you have one of the first 4 storage units, good luck. Also no employee on site at 11 am. It’s my work storage unit and I’ll likely be moving units now because of this.

Joe was extremely rude. His lack of customer service was disappointing. Shame on you. Please educate your staff on proper communication skills public storage

Looking for a larger storage space, I visited this location. Received a friendly greetings from Kelly, He quickly learned what I was looking for and showed me the exact unit needed. Signed me up and I was out the door, my entire experience was no longer than 10 min!!! Manager Steve called saying I owed money for my space. After I tried to explain to him I was paid up he told me my contract was due and I needed to pay immediately. I told him I would need to contact customer service to sort it out and his response was "good luck getting them to help." Then he hung up on me. I called customer service and was assured that I was paid in full for another 17 days. Thanks for nothing but irritation Steve.

Steve was so helpful and kind, and I’m very happy with the storage units at this location. It’s exceptionally clean, ventilated and smells great, temperature controlled, secure, double lock features available, insurance was a breeze and inexpensive, the elevator and halls and loading area are spacious and covered so rain won’t interfere with our move. Easy payments online or auto pay, and an app that does it all. But the best part was how Steve explained everything to us, showed us around and helped sort out our reservation. He was just the nicest and most knowledgeable person. Now I feel like I know what I’m doing and won’t get confused. Moving is crazy but worry free storage makes it so much easier. Thanks Steve!

I was able to rent online and I receive follow up phone calls that clarified if you questions I had. I’ve use this place several times over the years and keep coming back. Staff is friendly and helpful, place is clean in my experience.
