Love the space. Huge drive in space and very clean. Great to access. Saw great reviews. Moved stuff from each coast because facility started increasing rent rapidly every year and was far over normal monthly rental for new unit. This contract doesn’t specify a yearly change, just a right to change with 30 day notice in contract. After 5 months was just informed of over 30% increase. Of course, now seeing this and knowing they have reserved the right to do it anytime with 30 day warning, starting to look for another option and move it again before we get shipped overseas without options. Can’t afford rent increases of this size on this timeline. Excellent option for several month storage, not considering it a good intermediate term anymore and definitely not longer term.
Fred was fantastic! Best storage experience I have ever had - makes me want to be a long-term renter. The space is new and clean and well designed. This is definitely the best storage space in the Beaverton area. Great service!

Interior lights only stay on like 20 seconds then you have to move outside, in the dark mind you to reset. Plus, it’s not the cleanest storage about.

Simple and easy, great service
Rented when moving with a large shipping container. Fred met the driver when he showed up an hour early and made sure everything went smoothly. He always returned calls and really made my time here nice. Space itself was large enough for our things, and available carts made move in very easy. Sometimes the app acted up, but was generally good.

Parking in the bay is anarchy. Just incredibly frustrating the way two cars can render the entire bay impassable for everyone else. The contactless entry via phone app is very fussy.
RATES INCREASE OFTEN.
Public Storage is another case for the argument of keeping your money local. Mom and pop will raise rent ten bucks once per year.
Mr Fred is very good at his job and we were pleased with the service
I can not recommend. Zero customer service. I've never been able to just call and talk to a person. You have to leave a voice-mail, and hope they get back to you same day. The only loading bay access is constantly blocked, and none of the moving carts are ever made available. Narrow hallways and short corners make moving household items, such as furniture, extremely difficult, and the elevator only works half the time. After being here only 3 months, our rent rate is already going up $60/month. There's just so much hassle and money wasted in time and fuel driving all the way here, only to not be able to get inside and access our unit. I've never had this awful of a time at any other storage place I've gone to. They include many hidden fees that I've never even heard of, and I just don't have any good things to say about them.

Changed to 2 star only cause I like the staff. Not happy my storage unit price increased by over 20%.

I just moved my property into a unit after online payment. The site closes at 9pm which I knew but I didn’t realize the exit gate would hold me hostage. I am locked in. The gate code machine tells me to see a manager. How??? the place is closed! I cannot log in on the app. I had to call the police to help me exit. What a ridiculous situation. I am nearly positive I saw the site manager in her black suv waiting for me to leave. She just left without offering any help.
Follow-up Review.
The general manager called me directly to apologize for the inconvenience. Despite the fact that it was my mistake on misunderstanding the gate hours. From 1 star to 5.

The customer service and follow-up from both Fred and the woman who assisted me ( I don't recall her name) was friendly, informative and quick. The facility is huge! It is very clean and you can drive your car into a bay area, and get right into the oversized elevator that takes you up to your storage space. There are maps on the wall in case you get lost, and plenty of carts to assist with your move. The space itself was nice.👍

I was very pleased to discover that the entire rental process can be navigated online. Downloading the app was effortless, and there was a very congenial employee in the office to show me exactly where my unit is located and answer any questions. The building is located at the end of a very quiet street, so I never felt rushed or stressed. This is where I will go next time, and I will certainly recommend it to anyone else who needs some storage space.

They will lie to you when you rent a storage unit. I, and my wife were told that the price would never increase as long as we rented the unit (because they were having a sale). Less than a year later they are not willing to uphold their agreement. Don't trust this company.

I rented a storage unit for 2 years. I can keep talking for probably 20 mins about how great my experience was with this location and the great staff. I was really satisfied with having my home stuff stored there and every time I needed something, it was accessible 24 hours 7 days a week. The app works amazingly and has everything you need such as your unit location, your storage direction, phone number, contract, your next payment amount, the auto pay , your passcode access, and many more.
Darren and Fred , they were extremely helpful. Darren helped me with finding the right spot for the moving storage company to come and drop off the unit in order to move out my stuff. And Fred helped in every single call I made to answer my question and the driver who picked up the moving storage unit and making the life easier for me and the driver. I highly recommend Public Storage on this location and if one day I had to rent a unit again in that area, this location will be my only choice.

I showed up to use the unit I payed money for but there wasn’t a single employee at the location. Called the manager only to get a voicemail. Can’t get into the gate without seeing the manager, but the manager isn’t even there. Yet they say business hours are from 9:00-6:00. Have to wait for someone be else to open the gate to get in. Customer service numbers are useless. Not sure how this place has 4.8 stars. Unreal.

Fred will restrict your access to the building if he wants to talk to you and can’t reach you. Your car will get blocked in for hours, or he will change your locks, and you are locked out of a storage that you're paying for at his discretion. Also, beware, there are drug addicts practically living in the units on the first floor. If you turn your back for a moment, your stuff is gone. Highly unprofessional behavior and not worth the promotional offer.

We have rented a unit here for over 2 years and have had the best experience. We have never had any problems accessing our unit when we needed to, and the property manager is so kind and helpful. This location is also tucked away, so it doesn't get very busy, which makes it a lot easier to get in and out.

The loading area is a bit of a pain, though, and should have been built with three lanes (one on each side for loading and one in the middle to get in and out), and the facility needs more carts.

As a first time public storage customer I have had and I am having a very positive experience. Fred is an excellent manager and host at the 5353 Beaverton location. He has helped me navigate seamlessly from the beginning of this journey to current. I made a long distance move with Pods and I am very happy to say it has been perfect moving my storage in to it's temporary home with public storage.

I’ve recently ended my use of storage services at this Public Storage location, as I’m moving out of state. This location is clean and safe; my experience.
When on-site during service supported hours, Fred and associate(s) were always accommodating and helpful; meaning the staff is great.
I did have 2-units for a duration and reduced to 1-unit as the price appear rise every 6-months. My hope is the staff gets raises in wages every 6-months!
Location was worked for me, faculty is solid, and Fred & team are there to support the process of storage.

A clean storage facility with friendly staff
My unit was burglarized, and I lost everything I had in it. Security is non-existent with cameras ONLY on the exterior of the building. Of course, the public storage takes no responsibility as once you sign with them, they throw all their liability out the window. This is NOT a secure facility. I would recommend going elsewhere if anything.
Clean, climate controlled storage facility with wonderful staff. We’ve been customers of this location for over a year. Recently, we had to downsize our unit and they made the process a breeze. The app is very helpful as well!

The site manager, Fred, is on top of seeing all current customers and potential customers have a great storage setup experience. He is very nice and kind, yet holds true to maintaining and upholding the rules set for this facility. I see him out on site often maintaining the grounds and helping people with they're questions. I highly recommend this location just off of Allen Blvd on 107th for anyone looking for a great storage experience.

It's very clean but the loading area could use a redo. When I got there to unload my truck there were 4 cars in the inside loading area. The wait was about 30 minutes. As I was unloading the cars outside waiting for their turn were extremely impatient to the point of making rude comments. Trying to get out was difficult. I eventually had to go outside and open the entrance door and back out. One more thing. For all those people and as busy as it was, there were only 2 carts, they definitely need to at least double that.

Rented a unit online for this location 5 months ago. It was initially a great rate. Got there and realized I needed a bigger unit and the switch was an absolute nightmare. No one was there to assit, so I called the customer service number. Was on hold over an hour and no one could help once they came on the line. Once the attendant got there, they kept what I had already paid for the first unit saying they couldn't apply it to a new unit, and they charged me again for a lock. They charged me at the returning customer rate, which was significantly higher, not a first time renter rate, although I was definitely a first time renter. All I did was look at the initial unit I had reserved 24 hours prior for less than a minute. I had not used it at all. Their reason was that they couldn't override the system. BS. People make computers, not the other way around. Had I not been so tired, I would've gone somewhere else.
Also, for the past 5 months, my monthly rate was 126.00. As of this month, my rate is 170.00. Why and why such as steep increase? There is zero reason, other than them raising the rates to whatever they want without adding any value.
Five stars for the cleanliness and overall security. A hard zero stars for everything else.
I just started renting my unit and on move in day my access code did not work at all. The employee tried twice to change my access code and finally just entered in his own code and made me place one of my boxes down to hold the door open. He approached me at my unit after awhile and handed me a post it with my new access code and said that it should work next time I come in. I’m not surprised the last code given to me isn’t working and of course the app also only works for gates not doors. I have never had this many issues with a storage business and it is incredibly frustrating having to extend my UHAUL rental because they couldn’t give me a code that actually gave me access to my unit. Luckily I won’t be renting for long, but I am never coming to this location again and do not recommend renting a unit here.

This place was exactly what I needed when I was between homes and needed a place to store all my worldly possessions. When I needed an additional unit because I live like a pack rat it was super easy to put onto my account. The only negative note I can give this place is the second level has a spot the smells like someone stored a bunch of cat litter and I was worried my things would smell after several months. I’m happy to report they don’t! Now to the positives: WONDERFUL climate control, even in the un/loading area, which in the heat of summer was a miracle and made things soooo much easier. Just let them know you’re coming as they have minimal staff and lock up the office when they’re making their rounds, so if you forget your code or need something administrative… you might be in for a wait. They do have fantastic communication however so it’s easy to let them know you’re coming by. Fred and Kimberlie are treasures; they know their stuff and are a couple of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met in my life.

I don't actually know what the prices are like, but I helped my daughter get her stuff out, and this place is like Fort Knox! Their big role up door is like something out of Star Trek. Once inside that, another secure door to get into the storage areas. Nice carts to use to roll your stuff out.

I think this storage place is amazing. It is clean and neat and only left one star off because there were not enough wheely carts to accommodate all the people needing to reach their storage units.
I like all of the security in place. How easy it is to use the app to get in and out. And being on a dead end street makes it feel like an extra layer of protection.

Fred is still just the most kind, honest, and accommodating gentleman, but my rent has increased from $63 to $84 following a month that I struggled to pay. I paid late & paid the late fee. I paid the following month on the 5th within the grace period but I was locked out of the unit and the lein fee assessed. It cost me $145 to rent my unit that month after the late fees (not fee but fees, plural - why multiples Idk?) and the lein fee. I almost had my belongings auctioned off! I was always under the impression rent was due on the 1st but grace period was through the 5th. I was told it was a system glitch that caused my lein assessment& ultimately lock out, and that they couldn't fix it. Then they tried to site loopholes in the contract as to why the 5th was now considered late after 6 months. All I know is as soon as I showed a sign of financial struggle they were ready to auction my stuff - tried to add so many fees that I couldn't pay...shady business. And why cat I speak with the upper management making these decisions?

He made sure I had the right size unit by showing me more and helped me work through all the issues and logistics, and managed to still get me a great deal! He is so helpful and I really felt at ease which is sayin something for me lol

By far the least painful experience I've ever had getting a storage unit in my life Fred was amazing can't believe renting a storage unit could be so easy it's like somebody created rules and public storage and Fred decided to ignore them and actually give customer service. Places like a New York City apartment if you can get your hands on a unit you might want to hold on to it even if you don't need it just because they definitely don't have places like this at all anywhere Ive been to

Great storage place. Needed a storage place by the next day, I went and got one that day online. The place has nice access and carts to help move stuff inside an elevator to access your unit. When I was done using the storage unit it was super easy to stop renting the space. I just went to the office and they did it there for me, less than 10 minutes. 10/10 recommend public storage
This is the perfect place to store your belongings! Fred is always super helpful and will do more than just explain where your storage is located, he walks you through more than once so your comfortable with the steps required for in and out of the facility and is always available for any questions!

It would be nice of access was 24 hours a day. This location is relatively clean, and other people seem to get in and out fairly quickly so you don't end up getting blocked in.
The storage unit is large, the facility is clean, and the staff is very kind! I will go back to this storage unit any and every time. The area is safe and very secure and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

Nice and clean. Took a while before figuring out where to park (i.e., within enclosed space or outside in the open, behind the gate or before it). A sign with guidelines or time limits would help tremendously.

Great service, horrible business practices. I reserved a spot that clearly stated 87$ for the first floor. Which they have said their hands are tied and they can't honor. I even walked in to show them on my phone what I had. Still nothing. Once I go to the checkout and pay, everything was good until I got a text saying my unit was on the 2nd floor. Apparently they don't even have 10x15s available on the 2nd floor! They probably do this to all their customers, but I refuse not to speak out about it. It is unacceptable to falsely market like this.

Fred… they don’t make people like him anymore. I found black mold at Uhaul Storage, I had to find a new place immediately with a full truck! It was close to closing time but Fred stayed and made sure I could unload. Fred goes above and beyond customer service. He is kind, helpful, and really enjoyable to work with. I hope he gets tons and tons of bonuses because he really comes to work everyday and gives 250% to the customers. Thanks again for making a stressful last minute move so easy.
