One would think that the longer you've been with a company, the better deals you get. But you would be mistaken in this case. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, we have had to have a storage unit for quite some time. The thing that sucks is they have no problem increasing our rent by more than $100 every 6 months. So every year, our rate goes up by $200. It is ridiculous! And, this place isn't all that great. They have pressure washed a couple times, and painted, which is good, but so much water and dirt and debris have gone inside of our unit because of it. The doors are not even close to holding any water or anything else out. We have had to throw away quite a few things that were within 5 ft of the door that have gotten wet and molded and mildewed. We have complained on multiple occasions but nothing happens. There is no reason for that. The only reason I and I'm okay with them having one star instead of none is because they are close to our house and convenient and the app is nice for opening the gates. I know people are probably saying well why don't you just move somewhere else then but like I said, circumstances are such that we are limited. I wish loyalty and longevity mattered with Public Storage, but it just doesn't.

I had a great experience with Public Storage. The facility is very clean, well maintained, and feels safe every time I visit. The staff was extremely helpful and professional, and they made the whole process quick and easy from the beginning.

My rent has doubled over the course of 6 months. It's ridiculous to raise the rent by so much. Last time I rented a unit from public storage the lock hasp was broken, so I couldn't even lock it and rented at this location instead. 2 mistakes made. App never works to opem gate either, all of this is very annoying. Never doing business with this company again, they are worse than a predatory lender.

I will never recommend this place ever again.I'm going to give you the reasons why:I was there for 3 years I started out with $100 rent and it went up to $260. Last month I gave notice that I would be leaving on the 1st no one said anything about me having to pay full month rent shocker to me as every storage place before was prorated.They just said okay sounds good leave the door open when youre ready to leave and she was nowhere to be found. I also want to mention that I had rats while I was there. I never previously had rats so I'm not really sure how that happened but yeah when we were taking out everything we found rat poop on almost every single box which means this place is infested we also found stuff that was thrown into our locker as far as rat bait but I'm not sure how they got the rat bait in there because I don't recall being asked to come and open it for them. Also while I was there my locker was broken into as well as several other lockers I believe it was 10 in total. Front gate doesn't work right now there's there's still a lot going on with this place. I believe that when I first got here service was better but has gone down hill and I will never use Public Storage again. You ruined a 12 year relationship by being horrible.

Customer service at this location was good, but our stuff got ruined from mold damage. This place has huge moisture problems. Thank God I didn’t store my wedding dress here! Almost did and then realized there was a problem. Moved everything to a different storage facility. :(

Great service! The wonderful lady at the office stayed late for me and went above and beyond to get me a good spot for my Travel Trailer.
My storage unit was broken into, due to the fact the door going into many units was broken, as they were aware of this and did nothing to fix it, just leaving the place unsecured. Mark Hodory the district manager who has video and I quote " knows the person who did it " Is keeping this information from the police. I spoke with him on the phone, he was very disrespectful, knowing that Public storage is being held responsible for there neglect. Caution this is one of the worst places at address 2190 nw Burnside rd in Gresham for theft per the Gresham police .

Not at all impressed with this rat hole I've only had my things stored there less than a week and already have rats pissing and chewing on anything they can . Its absolutely disgusting . There's no keypad inside for exiting the gate so if the app isn't working as always u have to get out go thru the little gate and put in the code to open the gate . Not real convenient no light in the unit can't get a human on the phone or in the office ever ! I only gave it one star because I had to . Definitely do not recommend putting anything u want to keep inside this place its ridiculous 😒 not at all worth the price

Had rat urine and droppings ruin many items in my unit. Also, never replaced the light which didn't work, only to tell me AS I'M CLOSING my account, that they don't fix lights anymore. Never told me at any of the times I asked them to fix it though...

But I’m rating 3/5 stars because of the HUGE HORRIBLE rat infestation🤢. I walked into my unit and EVERYTHING was covered in rat feces! My suitcases, inside any open bags or boxes… the floors were as covered in rat feces as my things were. They were freaking everywhere’ it was GROSS! Hoping I don’t catch hantavirus from having to wipe poop off my things & sort through & remove my stuff…
I did have some items chewed up. That was unfortunate. And there must’ve been a water leak at some point because family photo frames were wavy & misshapen.
I’m disappointed in the quality of cleanliness in this facility. I shouldn’t have to throw away multiple suitcases from rat poop getting stuck all over them🤢.
So just be aware that at this facility your stuff might be safe from thieves, but will be damaged from rat infestations unless everything is in solid tubs with lids.🤷♂️
I like the easy access to our storage unit, the manager was always very pleasant, the facility was clean and they didn’t have people hanging out there, so my daughter and I felt very safe, when we did run into other people they were always very kind, so I would definitely recommend it if you are in need of a storage facility. I almost forgot I liked the fact that we could open and close the gate using our smart phone which to me was an added bonus.
In a bad part of portland but great prices
BEWARE of this place. It's trash. Rat/mice infestations, thieves breaking into your unit,, and horrible customer service (no one picks up the phone, no one calls you back, and no one protects your stuff.)
Their entire property is infested with rats or mice. And when you discover that your unit has been infiltrated by rodents and all of your stuff had been destroyed by rodents, they tell you it's not their responsibility and to use your personal renter's insurance (except renter's insurance doesn't cover pests, so you're just screwed).
3 weeks ago, we find that someone has cut off our lock and put a different lock on our unit. We try to get ahold of someone. No one is ever in the office, no one ever answers the phone, and no one calls us back. After 3 weeks, we finally get ahold of someone after calling again.
They say they have no idea who cut off our lock. We have never missed a single payment or even been late on a monthly payment. They said it wasn't them, even though there was a Public Storage sticker on the lock that means it's an authorized lock-- except they apparently didn't know if it was an authorized lock or not? And they didn't know who put the sticker on it.
They said that other units have been broken into by thieves before. The lady couldn't have cared less. Basically said there is nothing they could do and they had no answers for me besides make an appointment for someone to be at the property for us to sign a paper giving them permission to cut off this lock that was put on our unit, then wait for them to call us days later after they have cut it off and replaced it with a combo lock that they would then give us the code to.
We will be filling a police report, filing an insurance claim, filling complaints with Public Storage corporate, and once we have finally gotten back into our own unit and if there is anything left of our stuff that the thieves left behind, we will be moving whatever's left to a completely different storage unit company.
This place is ghetto, trashy, and riddled with thieves and rats. They have ONE JOB. Protect our stuff, and they fail miserably at it every single day.
If you manage a storage unit property and you find out customers are having their locks cut off and their storage units broken into, wouldn't you want to like... Check your cameras, talk to your employees, and maybe find out what happened and when it happened and maybe stop that from happening? Nope. Not this place.

Wonderful storage facility, great offers and deals. Not only that, the manager (Abigael) helped me find a better unit because the unit i was going to get got taken. Still got a great price in the end.
I've been storing personal belongings here for almost 3years. The staff is always kind and professional. The gate occasionally doesn't work via mobile app but that's just technologies fault. $1 1st month storage promotions for new users is such a good tool to save money.

The set up of my reservation and getting everything done for me to move in was so easy and the staff was so helpful.
I was renting here, and my storage space had a lot of rats and mice. Most of my stuff was damaged by the rats and mice. I reported to the insurance and they told they could cover more then $200 and that they need it more proves. This place its terrible and full of rats and mice. I have to many of photos that can prove it.
No attendant on site therefore don't expect customer service here.
Kelly was friendly and a great help in helping me get checked in to my reservation

Staff member we met there was friendly.
Problem is another Public Storage location had already screwed me over so I couldn't even move my stuff in there. This location wanted to charge me existing customer rates even though I never got to use the unit at the other location. So it was going to cost me nearly double. Then their computer actually crashed and they couldn't rent me a unit even at the higher rates.
2 different locations of the same company a day apart, unable to do the simple jobs of allowing me access to, or even renting me a storage space to begin with.
I had all of this setup nearly a month ago so it wasn't even last minute.
Now within less than a week I'll have to find entirely an entirely new place to store items while moving from another state.
I do know l it won't be at any Public Storage location, ever.

Great customer service, very thorough with information
This place has issues with MANAGEMENT! We rented for a couple months. 1 unit, $200/month. The first monthe was $250 because They made us buy a lock. We asked if we had one already if we could use it. They said yes, go get it and we'll refund your money for this one. WE NEVER GOT THE REFUND AND THEY KEPT THE LOCK! To me that is dishonest and should give you second thoughts about coming here when there are so many storage facilities available in the area.
While we were renting They were painting and replaced the roll up door. It had a different lock on it. THEY DIDN'T PROVIDE US A KEY! We went to get into our storage unit and couldn't even get in. When we tried to contact them they were closed. We left 3 messages which were never returned!
They claim that we were told twice about the lock replacement, but none of the 4 people on the lease received any notice.
We contacted corporate and the said they would send an email but we would likely have to wait until they opened the next day at 10:30. We were trying to get out before the end of the month so we wouldn't be charged another month.
That forced us to take off of Work an additional day and cost us dearly.
Then have NEVER returned one of or calls after leaving a message and they don't seem to answer the phone. The only one they returned was the one when we were looking for a storage unit? After that, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!.
FOR THESE REASONS WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. if you're going to spend that much on a storage unit it is reasonable to expect a quality customer service.
Don’t get storage here. Your things will get stolen, Some people are picking locks because they are bums. I suggest you go elsewhere if you don’t want your belongings stolen by these thieves.

Big maze, not super brite lighting, interior storage units doors are not very secure.. It's a storage place.
