I had my storage unit for one year and a few months, and the process from beginning to end was very efficient! I think Teresa helped me both set up my storage unit and close my account after moving my stuff out. she was always helpful and such a fun person to talk to! I always felt the property was secure and safe and that the staff was always communicative — there was one time I forgot to lock my storage unit, and the staff reached out to me within a day to let me know it was unlocked. it was always easy for me to access my storage unit with the app, which I appreciated. I wasn’t a fan of my monthly rates increasing, but I did appreciate how Public Storage gave me a notice about those changes well in advance. I would definitely recommend Public Storage :)

I have paid this place over $500 in the past two months for a $130 a month rent. I pay them, 4hey take the money, they turn off my autopsy, and then midway through the month they add a new balance for me.

Clean units. Have used them multiple times. Always very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again.

Teresa at this location was absolutely amazing helping us get what we wanted. The unit originally set up was not what we wanted, and they transferred us for free to a unit of more convenience. Customer service was fantastic and would highly recommend this facility.

I’ve enjoyed my time with Public storage here in mustang. I’m a local business owner who needs storage for roofing supplies and a trailer. They’re very straightforward and easy to use. The have access thru and app which is cool: plus they’re very friendly which is hard to find nowadays.

I am extremely unsatisfied with this company. They raise the rates without notice. The first month we moved in they prorated the price which was great but when we moved out they refused to do the same. Leaving us owing them for an entire month and we moved out at the beginning of the month.The lady at the front desk has been extremely rude on numerous occasions. The older gentleman was always very kind and helpful.

Do not use this place! Absolute worst experience we ever had she was more worried about getting a good review than us getting what we needed. SHIRL in a whole new class of people.. super friendly and the beginning until we make our payment and get our once that happen it was like having little minions follow us. Every time we came into the storage unit and watch us to see what we were doing granite we had the largest storage unit available with a loading dock so you can’t blame some curiosity but when I realize it wasn’t about that it was about them wanting to know what we were doing at all times because we buy and resell furniture you’re not allowed to do that on their property so they let us know that real quick. They also let us know that we couldn’t take any pictures and post any of our stuff with their orange garage buildings in the background when we asked how she knew that she said I seen your pictures on Facebook so she stalking me, so she yelled at us in front of a customer when we were outside of the gate making a cell. Let me tell you she said she had absolutely no issues if we were outside of the gate so we made it a point to go outside of the gate to meet our customers already making it not worth having a loading dock of a storage unit wasted my money because the whole reason we got the loading dock is so people could back up loaded up and go, well that’s not the case even when we met him outside of the gate of the property she comes screaming at us in front of a customer said you’re still on our property I was literally 3050 yards away from their gate entrance and in my bank parking lot I said you know what I bank with this bank and this is their parking lot and she said no it’s not when we were clearly standing in front of the bank not the Public Storage and Mustang it’s a huge parking lot was multiple businesses anyways so we made sure next time to come a little bit further out again already inconvenient even though I’m not paying on time paying customer with the biggest unit they have that’s a lot of money, she didn’t send her, which is a new hired girl to scream at us again in front of another customer complete embarrassment got me a four star because of the unprofessionalism is what they said in the review which I’ve carried a five star rating for two years and had nothing but good reviews so that alone sucked.. so she screams at us and says if you do this on our property you’re out of here we were clearly not on their property again and I had had enough of their BS at that point so we started looking for another storage unit well glad we did and glad we had already found one because in the mail I received a letter saying that they are making renovations and our unit is 105 that they renovating out of all of that facility, and that we had till the end of the month to get out well come to find out, they never renovated anything. It was a lie…. I was gonna contact upper management, but I didn’t wanna waste another thought or piece of energy on these people. I’m just fair warning you if you want to be micromanaged and embarrassed and humiliated and treated like a toddler go for it but if you would like respect and do what you want with your unit since you are paying the store, your stuff not be told you can’t take pictures and actually be treated with respect go anywhere else but here!!!Shirl is the worst as well as her new hire at the time …she even left notes and had her fill ins watch us when she was not there so we would get phone calls from these people telling us that we cannot let anybody in except for us because I had my mother come pick up a recliner and she’s old so I had her follow me in and because I did that that was another reason for them to come at me…. I told them that it was My Mom and she’s on stage five dialysis and has one kidney and it’s easier if I just bring her to the loading dock and I was there to supervise to make sure that she wasn’t going to still anybody’s units which clearly people bring other people in all the time, but instead they watched us making notes to tattle WOW

Just had to help move our daughter from Public Storage due to the rising rent (without notice). Within a week of putting her things in storage the furniture was covered in mold and it continued to grow - so the climate controlled claim is a lie. Would not recommend.

Ive had a terrible experience with storing my stuff at this place. The management is rude and disrespectful, Its overpriced. They try and force you to pay "FEES" for stuff that is there fault. They wont let u in ur unit past 9pm. And my furniture was ruined because of the bugs and rats that place has. Dont recommend putting anything here

Placed all of my china, weddings albums,family pictures, and kids items they had created growing up and some other family memories in storage and left to go travel as a nurse against🦠. Come back to get my items and my unit had been robbed. Everything gone except the bed and large wall pictures. The worst part is someone had picked the lock or had a skeleton key because my original lock was there. Had the office manager check and records show my gate code had not been used since the day I placed everything in the unit. Made a police report and guess what...many instances of the same thing happening have been reported. The insurance will do you no good because they want pictures ( were all stolen from the unit) proof of purchase(irreplaceable items, passed down from generations not bought). So not only did I loose my entire wedding album,memory box,grandma's china,China, memories, and all of our family photos...They so oh well, no proof we can't help you. Cleared out my unit the 2nd week of the month..and yep you guessed it. No partial month refunds. Save yourself the heartache of loosing things that are irreplaceable and pick a different storage facility!

I will never rent out a storage unit from Public Storage again. The gates for the adjacent location are open during the weekends. During the recent snow storm they didn’t even have anyone clear out the roads. Why allow access when you are going to endanger people? I honestly thought I was going to be stuck. And if you are wanting to dispute the bill for your final month they don’t advise you to clear your balance first. I had an automatic payment plan cause I knew I was going to be gone due to military obligations and they did not help me out at all. When I called corporate to explain them my situation the first person accused me of “stealing” for being able to get on the property when the gates were open. And the second agent I talked to faked a bad connection but was crystal clear the entire first half of the call. If the $1 for the first month is enticing, don’t let it fool you. Because they’ll try to get as much out of you as they can. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
