Stacy and Nate put a lock on my storage after I lost and forgot mine at work… I have high value equipment for work in my storage unit am so grateful and thankful they were able to secure it for me while I was at work I did not even realize I lost my lock until they called me and told me. We had a great experience with RJ at the Powell location after we had to quickly secure a unit when our moving truck was set to arrive on Memorial Day and other storage unit options were closed. After booking on the phone and confirming several times we needed a unit on the main pull up for our movers with their 18 wheeler to access our unit and realizing that is not what we had recieved after arriving, RJ went out of his way to change our unit location for easier access and help hold the gate open for our truck. He was very friendly and helpful! Great costumer service experience!

OK, I'm amending my 5 star review I posted two years ago. First I will still say this is the best Public Storage I've used, staff always super friendly, and am surprised that even after having my stuff stored for several years there is no dust or dirt on any of my belongings. They also worked with me regarding access hours and switching to a larger unit. That's why its more than 1 star. But... the company takes advantage of its customers, leveraging there need to store their stuff and the inconvenience of moving it to raise prices to well above market value. And before you say all storage does this... this was above and beyond. I rented several years ago when prices were going up everywhere so wasn't surprised after 4 months of my intro rate, prices went up significantly. I'm guessing their max increase is 32% because it went up that much. That put me just a bit higher than their standard rate so whatever. I called and complained when another 32% increase came about 6 months later when prices were actually decreasing around this area. They said they would cancel the increase but all they did was delay it for 3 months, and the increase went through after that without additional notice. Customer service would not work with me further regarding the increase, but as I didn't want to hassle moving my stuff, I just paid the higher amount, about $80/mo higher than their standard rate (not intro rate). But at least I didn't get any raises for the next few seasons. Just got another notice that they were raising my rates yet again, this time 42%, when prices everywhere have dropped significantly including at this facility. They want to charge me $384/mo total for a storage space that is currently going for $109 online, $136 regular at this same facility. That's almost 3 times the normal rate, when I was already paying significantly more than I should. Talked with two customer service reps and the property manager, but they always say its up to corporate, who always responds with "Reduction denied, its within our contract rights". They did delay the increase again for 3 months, but that's still higher than market. They also said that if I rented an identical space at the same place I could get market rate, move my stuff, then cancel the overpriced unit. Just ridiculous. Needless to say I'm moving end of this month, and will never use Public Storage again. I'm glad I have the option to move because if I was out of town, or overseas, I'd be forced to pay.

Stacey is a asset. This is hassle free storage! I was able to get all the information without a problem. Stacey was friendly and upfront on the costs and Facilities. She made it so easy . Love that I can pay online, by phone, perfect for my busy schedule. She was also doing rounds to make sure everything was clean and secure. Thank you.

Stacey was so pleasant and helpful. Prior to moving a friend into their storage unit during a difficult time. She explained the rental prices and how easy it was to make payments. She helped make sure they rented a space large enough for their belongings. Which gave them peace of mind. Thanks Stacey!!

I received a follow call from Ben, Who oversees The Ohio locations if I remember correctly. He took time out of his day to get me squared away. I am very thankful he was able to help. This Location did take care of me as well, when starting my rental as well.

Stay away. I paid a premium for “secure” storage that is “video monitored” but when my boat was hit on the premises, the company wouldn’t provide any help or video evidence, leaving me with the cost of repairs UPDATE: The company reached out and said there was nothing they could do and offered nothing to remediate the situation. From the marks on the boat, it’s clear the person parked next to my boat backed into it, but without the video evidence that they advertise as a perk, I’m stuck with the cost

Great service and kind staff

This is the absolute best storage unit location I have ever rented from. Other storage companies are nowhere near as clean or knowledgeable or friendly. I went to get a second unit rented because I was so pleased with the service. Shelly was amazing and helpful, and even taught me how to use the app to open the gate because I have short arms. No more having to lean out the car to type in the gate code! No matter where I move to I will definitely try Public Storage again because of her great service.

Over priced, app doesn’t work, raised the price 25 dollars after two months, and then they want a $20 dollar fee to pay over the phone. Highly do not recommend this place.

I’ve been with this Public Storage since they opened the location. I started out with a small outdoor unit, then moved to a larger indoor unit. I even had a large outdoor unit for a while after I moved and needed to store everything. I’ve had a great experience with them! Front office is so kind and accommodating and will do everything they can to help! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a storage place!

I have been checking out different storage areas in the Powell area. After stopping at this location I was helped by Jared who answered all my questions and even took me to look at some of the units. He even followed up with me via text to thank me for coming in. I was very impressed with Jared on how he went above and beyond to help me, follow up and answer all my questions. This kind of customer service is the reason why I chose this storage facility!

I am currently renting two storage units and two surface lot spaces at this Powell location. I moved from a different location due to the convenience and easy access of this location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The facility is safe, well lit and always clean. I highly recommend this location!

In desperate need of a large unit 10 x 30...they were sold out...asked keigan to call me if one becomes available. Sure enough he did and the timing couldn't have been better. Thanks for following up and getting me the unit I needed. I have 5 units with them now and its a great place to store things, dry and nice modern units.

Update 5/3/2022-has been a full week trying to get the receipt for refundable charges as was promised by property mgr. Most recent call 4/30 to Corp cust. srv. assuring me the district mgr would respond in 48hrs- NOTHING. still no cooperation. As Corp. cust. serv. asked me during 4/30 call, "Why didn't the property mgr just do a screen shot and print it out?" Good question. I cancelled the unit within 24hrs of online reserv. for personal reasons, and considering lack of customer service on all levels, seems to have been the right decision. Also, you should not have to be forced to pay for additional insurance to use the online reservation. Homeowners and renters policies cover rental units, but no option was given to provide that info online. Never use an e-check to reserve a storage unit. If I had used a card the charges would have posted to bank account immediately, and spared myself 6-8 week turn around for refund. It's not the time table I am objecting to, all I want while I am waiting for the three checks is the receipt for the refund that I stood in the lobby and confirmed to be emailed to me. This should not be this difficult. Better Business Bureau is next. I will stick with Extra Storage, or independent locations.
