Wont answer my calls nobody at the facility or on site.
I've had my unit for one year and the rate just increased FORTY PERCENT. From $115 to $155 - I was then lectured by an off shore representative reading a script that "you agreed to any price increase at any time when you signed the lease."
FORTY PERCENT.
I would rent elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of renting a storage space at Public Storage at 701 Windmiller Drive, Pickerington, Ohio and my experience was amazing thanks to the outstanding help from Cheryl. With the help of her expertise, our organization picked out the perfect size unit and Cheryl helped us with our unique needs as a charitable organization. Cheryl helped us set up the account so that it is owned by the charitable organization but allowed a donor to pay for the storage. This was complicated but Cheryl got it done for us in no time! This arrangement is important for the charitable organization to comply with all the requirements for operating a charitable organization. Cheryl is such a capable and helpful person! We really appreciate her! The facility at Pickerington is very well maintained. It is very clean and secure too. Thank you Cheryl for all your help!

The storage unit and grounds were clean and clear of any clutter. I would highly recommend this Public Storage.
Wendy was fabulous. She gave 5 star service. Only reason I removed a star is that I was under the impression that this was a 24/7 accessible facility. I tried to come by at 930pm, and the gate wouldn't open. Tried calling the after hours number to open the gate and entered all my numbers it asked for... still wouldn't open. That was VERY disappointing. Had I known I couldn't access on my time, I would've likely selected another facility that DID offer 24/7 option.
The staff is friendly- sometimes a tad hard to catch (given the staffing shortages everywhere, I understand and I can be as patient as needed!) but yet they still address issues as quick as they can! I've never had an issue using their app to enter the property or talking with customer service. The property is clean and well maintained, especially considering the rates offered at this property. They beat all expectations I had of a storage facility!

Online rental process was easy. Gate code was texted and the lock was waiting for me inside the storage unit. Folks at the Windmiller Drive location in Pickerington are great - helpful and friendly.
Cheryl, ( sorry girl if I misspelled🤦♂️) I came in for a Q&A and She was spectacular!! She didn't hesitate to walk me through a few things while rental process, which made my day! Sweet woman !!

Ms Cheryl was amazing. She gave me all the info I needed and made the process smooth and fast. She definitely deserves a raise.
Getting the unit was pretty straight forward. However, trying to close the unit out was a another ordeal. Walked in and asked to close my account as the unit was empty. Employee asked for my unit number and then said there was a late fee on the account. Apparently, you get no notice when the AUTOPAY does not work and they charge you a $32 late fee. I thought autopay was to avoid all of this hassle. Nevertheless, I paid the late fee and told the employee I was upset and was going to try and dispute the charge. So on my drive home, I call the customer support and was told that they have no power to waive the late fee, only the district manager. So I asked customer support to have the district manager to give me a call (its been 7 days and I have not, nor do I expect anyone to call me!). While I was on the phone complaining about the inconsistent information different employees at the store were giving me, I found out that my account was never closed and I was going to get a bill next month. THANK GOODNESS I called to complain because I am sure that the next bill would have had a late fee because the autopay would not have worked. I suggest avoiding this location and avoid the autopay because it was less than convenient.
*UPDATE* it has now been 2 weeks and I still have never heard from the district manager. Pretty disappointing to say the least. Lowered by review to 1-star.
I’m back in Ohio and forgot my gate code. Went into office and desk clerk gave me code and she help me set up app to get access to my storage.
Cheryl did Great!! Very professional, courteous, prompt and took care of all of my needs!
Cost of indoor unit gone up from 102 to 183 since 2009.
Been doing business at this facility for over 2 yrs and Ms. Cheryl is a very sweet and helpful lady.
