Recently won some furniture at auction. This place has been calling me, telling me to return it to the previous owner even though I legally bought it. The front desk lady makes you leave a 5 star review about her the moment you enter the office without even helping you yet. Every time I call them they don't answer and the office is closed early. They said they'd give me an extension for cleaning out the unit but when I asked they said no. 0/10 would reccomend.

If I could give zero stars I would! This place is absolutely horrible! They do not care about their customers and we were there for 2 years and in the course of that time our rent went from $140 to $500!!!!!!!! They did absolutely nothing for us! They don’t care about your financial situation at all. My husband and I were homeless until May and all they did was raise rent and not to mention our latch was broke the whole time! I even contacted mangers and they did absolutely nothing! Not even a one time curtesy to waive fees or extend the date for us to pay. To make things more stressful they would call every few days to tell you that you that you missed a payment! Also there was never anyone on the office to pay your bill if you pay cash. Meanwhile their hours are posted on the office door. In addition to all of this they stole expensive items from us when our unit was facing auction. And when we confronted them about it they denied it! I highly recommend not using them all! Find another storage place or a family member DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE!!!!!!

It’s been 2 1/2 years . I left to move to Texas and had my stuff in storage with this facility for 4 years prior to. I’ve moved back from Texas and am now in need of stoarge again. I currently moved to Calverton BUT I chose to use the Public Storage in Patchogue because Angela is an amazing person and I liked her so much from my previous time with her I chose to use the facility even though I’m so far away because Angela is ridiculously awesome!!!

The problem with self storage at 601 sunrise hwy Patchogue is that they keep raising their prices every few months as much as 40.00. They get u by offering o e month free then once you move in they begin to charge more and more. I have used other storage and they don’t do it. Don’t rent from them unless you want to pay unless y ok want to pay

The people are nice, the units clean and easily accessible. What I'm displeased about is the fact that I searched their website specifically for climate controlled units, found one, made my reservation, and started packing. I went to the unit to start loading my things only to find out it is not a climate controlled unit, and that those do not even exist at that facility. After 45 minutes and multiple transfers on the phone - they said they can move me to a different facility all together, but I won't get the pricing that I got online. I would have happily moved my things into a climate controlled unit, as that's what I need- but to not offer a price match due to their website listing incorrectly is shenanigans.
I visited this location looking to rent a storage unit and found the manager Angela to be very helpful. She was very personable and kind. While she was helping other customers in my presence i was amazed with how she solved every issue with ease and was very knowledgable. She was offering to help the customers even after hours if they needed. She is a huge asset to public storage and i will be back to rent the unit from her. I wish i could give her more stars. Ive had a few units over the years at other locations and was always treated sub par.

I rented my first storage unit here and couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. Angela in the rental office helped me with my payment and how to use the app, showed me the unit, helped me get a lock (and showed me how to use it lol) and answered every question so thoroughly. She helped me figure out the best access to my unit and walked me through every step. It is so rare in today's day you receive such care from a worker, and she really deserves to be recognized for it. All things with the facility went smoothly and I was pleased with my overall experience. Typically, I wouldn't think to recommend a storage facility but because of the 11/10 customer service I received I will be referring anyone I can. My day was made by such a kind and helping staff member in a setting that was foreign to me and I'm very thankful for her assistance.

This place has stolen my families sentimental values and not only banned them from going into the complex but won’t repay for the stolen items they’ve took or even give an explanation for taking their stuff. This is a horrible. Scam of a storage facility. Roaches were everywhere and they have a scout that walks his dog and watches you as you putt you’re valuables away and then you’re items go missing. Their contracts are also loaded with scams to steal. From you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE.

Worse place ever!! Don't let the $1 rates fool you. I had everything i own in there, and 4 days after i paid my bill...They auctioned it off leaving my family without anything!! Over $200k worth of furniture as well as birth certificates and every memory for over 25yrs lost! This place should be investigated and shut down.

I have to leave a bad review again concerning g this place. Be careful if u rent here and know the facts. This place raised my rent 40.00 a month again. I have spoken to them and nothing. I am on a fixed income and 40.00 a month more is not in the budget. I am barely surviving. This place gets u in the door with a reasonable rent and then periodically increases it by a lot per month

If I wasn’t a senior and disabled I would try and move my things somewhere else. Everything I own is in the unit. I still have not heard back from corporate office to settle this dispute. This place ignores you and keeps upping the bill. Before I know I quill be paying 400 a month. They raise the bill by 40.00 every few months
