The woman named Allison is one of the rudest people I've met. This location needs people with better attitudes.
I checked out of here on the last day of the month and subsequently got an email from Public Storage saying I owed a balance for the next month and they even sent me a text about it. While it was eventually taken care of, this facility was always lacking. One of the gates frequently had issues where it wouldn't even open after punching the code in due to some software issue. One night when I was leaving at 8:55, neither gate was working and I had to call Public Storage's corporate number to get an override. When I talked to the staff here about it, some snotty employee named Allison said I shouldn't even be leaving that late even though it was before 9 pm!
Another time, I caught some kids trying to break into my unit. They somehow got a gate code and were scoping out random people going into their outdoor units. I wouldn't trust any valuables in a unit at this facility.
Just received a notice for their "regularly scheduled" price increase. This time it was another 21%. This company is unscrupulous. The management and facility operators are pure garbage. If you are considering moving your stuff in here for the first time, do yourself a favor and exhaust every possible option for your stuff before signing up for this hell hole. It will be a disastrous decision. Consider yourself warned.

I store at another facility which I love and my mother in-law stores at this location with Danielle. Danielle is amazing with her and I had to give her a shout out she is always talking about how nice Danielle is and how she makes everything quick an easy. My mother in-law had lost a lot of her items at a mom and pop company their was mold all over her stuff so when she had to look for storage a few years later she wanted to use a corporate company. She found Public Storage in Melville and she has been their for years. She loves it and now I use it as well... This isn’t an issue with this location so much as it is with Public Storage as a company. This location, states their weekend hours are 9:30 to 5:30. What they fail to state is that it’s by appointment only, they literally have no staff on site during business hours.
Moved from one storage facility that was a nightmare to this location was so refreshing! The manager I think her name was Danielle? Was so helpful. She answered everything I needed right over the phone and was so accommodating the day of the move. Highly recommend!
