This location used to be one of the best in Las Vegas. Lately though, due to aging/failing infrastructure, attendant/managers who do not care or their hands are tied due to crappy company policies and poor to non existent intrusion detection and video surveillance. This property is the constant target of locker burglaries. My locker has been burglarized Twice. The insurance claims process is geared towards getting you the least amount of compensation if any.
In addition, be prepared for substantial and frequent increases in rent for little to nothing in return.
If you value your personal property do not rent storage space at Public Storage.

Straight garbage !! I came to the storage unit that I got assigned to and when I opened it , it was FULLY occupied with some ones belongings! I requested a full refund because just as I was able to gain access to someone stuff , some one will be able to with my stuff !

Okay for short term use. Nice staff. Unit was broken into, lost all electronics and property damaged.
Staff is great, but property definitely needs some work, trash all around. The dumpster area is horrendous, the elevators could use a good sweep and wipe down, there’s an electrical outlet exposed (lawsuit). At one point there was 3 staff members, there should be no reason the property is unkept. Also the layout of the gate is very inconvenient, they should really consider doing something different there.

This place needs to hire additional office workers. The one worker in the office is always away from the office doing whatever they do. So if you need a cart or want to bring one back expect to wait for someone to come back as they take your drivers license when you borrow a cart. Ivealso seen other people waiting then leave because no one is there.

I would rate it a ZERO if I could! The south entry door for vehicles has been broken for over a year. There are NO carts - initially they only had 2 carts for a building with hundreds of units. Elevators are unreliable. The entire grounds are dirty, inside and out. There is VERY RARELY anyone in the office. And the bathrooms are not working.
Personally, if I could give this unit a negative star I would! I had the worst experience possible at this storage unit and not only was I disrespected, but I got stuck in the elevator with a broken call button and I am five months pregnant and the staff proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and their elevator was working, but when they went with me, I had prove to him that it was broken. I am highly upset with the storage unit and not only with that I did not get my full refund back And I wasn’t even there for 30 minutes because I was trapped in the elevator for 15
I live nearby and am tired of seeing discarded furniture and trash pile up. For more than two weeks there has been a pile of garbage in the front of your business.
Update: 6 months later and now we have to stare at Graffiti. This graffiti has been here two months and nothing has been done. Still trash too!
Update: This place is still an eye soar and hurts our neighborhood. For the past 3 weeks, the large pull up door is broken, the side of the building was smashed by a car, and the parking lot is littered with trash and discarded furniture.
Do not rent a storage unit here , my storage unit was broken into and I knew what was missing yet the staff didn't let me see camera footage nor help me to find a solution, I know it was one of the staff members because I had both keys with me at all times, it's ridiculous, $140 worth or items taken , super high rent just for items to be stolen? No that's not professional, never is staff in the office , it's so scetchy , I do not trust this location whatsoever, I'm super disappointed, the items that were stolen were sentimental, I will never be able to replace them.
Too expensive, and complicated to get yours stuff
Had a situation come up Where I had to go into the office and speak with the property manager. Ended up speaking with Heather who was very attentive to everything that I needed taken care of and made sure that I left happy with a smile on my face. Would recommend going to her facility anytime. She's always there with a smile and ready to help anybody who needs help.

Me and my kids needed things an I spoke to someone and they told me about this place..Heather was so nice to me she made me feel so welcomed I wish more people was like her 😌 I highly recommend 😃
I started renting here and it has been a terrible experience. When I started renting the exited garage door did not work. Then it was entrance that did not work. That make it difficult to load and unload your belonging. Due to other having to use one entrance point. Now the elevators don't work. Last week it one elevator that went up to the second level and open. This week neither elevator will not go up to the second floor. When I asked about the elevators I was told they was an issue and I have to use the stairs. There is no signage letting anyone know they don't operate. I pay good money for my storage and I feel like I am paying too much. Has anyone asked for a lower rent payment due to all the broken necessities.
Terrible experience! I wasn’t helped until 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I called the on site phone 3 times and no answer or help. When the ‘manager’ finally showed up, no apology or concern. Once I saw the unit I was scheduled to see it was way too small and told I needed to upgrade. Waste of time and energy. Take your storage needs to a different company!
We are new renters at your n. Rainbow location in Las Vegas Nevada. After renting the unit we were told the elevators are malfunctioning and only 1 of the 2 go to the 2nd floor where our unit is. Someone had taken all the carts from the property but for the exception of one which makes it very difficult to move in or out. The security system at the elevator is challenging to operate to say the least especially with hands full of things due to their being no carts. Only one of the roll up garage doors is operational leaving the first person in having to back out past the others that come in after navigating large moving trucks in reverse past other vehicles. The manager Lei is awesome it's no fault of her own. She is very helpful and I hope these issues are resolved and our time there is short as planned
I started my rental online which was easy and I as quite content until I went and saw the space and realized how small it was. I called the property manager and she along with a newer employee helped me get a bigger unit without hesitation. Your staff is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for them. 5 stars all day for public storage but like 12 for the staff at my location. Thank you!!

I wouldn't rent here, the doors to the storage stay broken, they keep raising the rent not sure if it's because the tenants keep messing up stuff. Takes months to get this stuff fixed. I'd spend my money elsewhere.

Have you ever had a company work with you when you messed something up? Like maybe you made a reservation somewhere but did it wrong, or you didn't know a towing co. was going to need cash but all you had was a card? Public Storage is NOT one of those helpful companies. In fact, my experience has been the total opposite. In my opinion, if I'd fallen out of my wheelchair on their property, any employee who helped me would've been fired, AND the DM would've told me because I am a fall risk (disabled person) Public Storage would no longer do business with me, and I needed to vacate all three units immediately due to lease violations (even though copies of the lease, terms, and rules weren't provided). Not entitled to any refunds either. Oh... and don't take your service dog there, don't expect the doors to work, don't count on using a bathroom, dont take any breaks if their kicking you out - not even to eat something so you can continue functioning. Essentially, my advice is just save yourself the hassle and don't rent from Public Storage. I don't believe Public Storage deserves your business, or mine.

They never answer the phone, I had a family member try to come and put a payment on my account while I was away and the front desk person was rude. Had a double payment in my account and wouldn't give me the answers in fixing it until the 3rd time I came to office.
Although, I appreciate a place close to store my stuff....the rate keeps getting boosted & it doesn't have 24hr access...

Here's my thing. I have been with you guys for over a year and always paid my bill on time with the acception of one bill after recently purchasing a vehicle after three years. My unit started at $68 a month and before the year was out, I am paying almost $200 for a very small unit. I am a single mother. I cannot afford these payments any longer. And now, I can't get out of it. The location I am currently at has switched employees and are not willing to work with me any further. I am at a loss and have to forgo this bill.

Honestly I think it’s a great storage unit. All the one star reviews are about graffiti on the dumpsters or furniture people throw away when they move, or the elevators not being cleaned.. PEOPLE..come on now. Who cares about graffiti..who cares if people throw away furniture they don’t need, the garbage people will get it away eventually or people who need it will take it. Stop nitpicking every little dumb thing and leaving bad reviews for a place that doesn’t deserve it. I happen to think the place IS clean for a storage unit that has hundreds of people coming in and out everyday, and it’s air conditioned which is super nice, and the staff is friendly as well. Stop being Karen’s and Chads and be realistic.

They took my money. I was getting a change of clothes. Had a few minutes before I had to be where I needed to be. Yes I am homeless and I was in the locker 2 hours, but no way was I living in the locker. After 3 days they took my $73. and kicked me out, with no refund. I'm a Senior on a fixed income.

With that said, I had an interaction with Trina; Property Manager, for this Public Storage. I have NEVER been treated with such lack of professionalism. I inquired as to why the key pad stated “see manager” & wouldn’t let me in to where the units were. Trina very rudely says; “well you should probably take that up with your carrier because we sent them & did our part.” I explained that I was unaware & never advised that the unit is locked out upon 7 days late. Trina looked at me & said; “did you read your contract, it’s in there.” I have never been treated with such attitude & lack of professionalism as I was treated with today. I understand being frustrated or having a bad day, but to treat customers the way she treated me today was absolutely unacceptable!!! I will be placing a complaint with corporate as well & as soon as I can empty that unit I will be sure to do so!!!!
Beware of who you work with at this location….Brian & Jacey will help you any way they can. Trina…..Go to another property you’ll have a better experience dealing with someone else unless you like being spoken to with attitude & a lack of professionalism then go right ahead!!!!

Update. Brian is still very nice but when i had a bank issue I was charged for the very first time a $28 late fee that his company wouldn’t remove so i had to change this rating unfortunately because these companies make too much money to not forgive the first error.
To be fair I want to leave the good service comments that got me to rent the storage.

Rude front desk workers and a dirty, not maintained facility at all.
Supposedly a newer storage facility.
The elevators are never cleaned as well as the inside parking area always have trash everywhere. Exit door was smashed and left half open for the longest time before it was repaired.
Normally there's only one person working and she is unpleasant.
Glad we moved our things out as there is no contract and a five day, no fee for late payments.
We did call to inquire about a late fee as we were flying in from out of state and wasn't sure of the date we would be cleaning out storage. So we didn't advise of the move out as I have rented more than 5 times from different Public Storage facilities and never had an issue.
As I left, advised them that the storage unit was cleared out. There were two of them in there and when I gave them the unit number, they replied back stating we asked about late fees and we owe for that month. I laughed and walked out.
If tenants renting a storage unit and is given a leeway of five days to pay the monthly fee before late fees are added, is there a difference vacating by the 3rd, 4th or 5th day? I am sure they could pro-rate it to new customers.
I am glad I am not in Vegas anymore and no more storage units.
Do not recommend this one at all.
