Nightmare is an understatement. First month for $1 came to just around $60 after all the fees. Floors and walls of units and buildings made of unsanded wood board that caused the movers to tear my leather furniture to pieces and gave me several splinters Storage units have no lighting at all. No management or staff was present during regular business hours on multiple occasions and the property does not have a single outlet anywhere, so when I was told the property manager would arrive in 5-10 minutes but didn't for several hours, I had to use the emergency phone on the elevator as a lifeline because I was freezing to death waiting for assistance with a dead phone. I use Public Storage on a regular basis and did not think I had to do a walk through inspection before renting a unit because every other unit I ever rented on all parts of the US had floors, sheetrocked walls and lighting. This one is in a nice area, so I assumed it would meet the same corporate standards as the many others I used before. Well, I was fooled. The entire experience reflected that this location does not care about themselves, the company, the property, or the customers. Choose anywhere but here and you will be dodging a bullet.

From start until I moved out yesterday, this location has been great. Any time I interacted with staff they were always friendly, premises were always clean. Never had any problems with my unit or stuff inside the unit. Never had any problems getting into the gate or elevator, a couple times when I would try to use the app to access the gate to get out it wouldn’t work but it was fine just had to punch in my code. Would definitely use this location again if I move back to Vegas.
I just wanted a storage space! made a reservation WITH THE MANAGER for 9:30am , to show up and wait for 20 minutes. Nobody was in the office. I call 2 times, no answers. It’s been about 3 days still haven’t heard a peep from him 🤣
I’ve had issues with them in the past when I came to check out a unit, so this solidifies how unfit they are to be running a company 😂 read the other reviews too, I should’ve done that to begin with. It’s pretty on par lol.
Single handcart has a flat, no other carts around. No management on site. We will NOT be back.

I've been with Public Storage for 3 years and Just ended contract with them and moved to Life Storage.
Back in May 2021 it was only $250 for 10'x15'
They've increased the rate every 6 month by $50.
As of Today (May 2024 bill), the rate increased to $550.
As soon as my rate went up again, I've decided to move to life storage, they only charges me $145 for the first 3 months, and $245 after, but they are not going to play with you with the rate.
Pros:

Cons:
1. Indoor storage is way too dark, you barely see anything inside of the storage.
2. Storage shutter is too narrow and hallway is also very narrow, and it's hard to fit big furniture through the door since.
3. Ceiling is too short, if you are moving in with big furniture, you will find yourself bumping your furniture hitting ceiling multiple time while moving.
3. $50 Rate increase every 6 month
I recommend to find storage company where 1. hallway is wide, 2. Shutter size is wide, 3. Has Lots of lightings, 4. they offer fixed rate for long period of time.
I emptied my storage unit, upon leaving I was asked if I was dissatisfied or leaving for an alternate reason.
Public Storage here which was Life Storage before, is an excellent option for storage needs. Proximity to you might not be perfect, but proximity to safety is paramount for me and this is IT!

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! If I could leave no stars this place would get it! They refuse to answer phone calls. But yet expect you to answer on your time! They will only allow you on property the times during a work day schedule. Even with a code to get in. You still can not access your property. When you have questions and ask why they don't hire more people so you're not having to call 15+ times while they're "busy with a customer." They get angry and yell! They are incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL, and under staffed! We will be going else where asap!

I had made a reservation with customer service…. Which was a big mistake because the young gentleman really reserved the wrong storage and told me to go to the storage which, this location operates on appointments and he took my payment, which allowed me to be stuck waiting until an appointment 2 days later….So I missed 2 days of storage time and a lot of back and forth with Customer Care. Yet, It was the great effort of Zoey, that she went above and beyond to really rent me the storage of my dreams. I told her, me being upset was not her fault at all and apologized for me being upset,(fussy not mean), as she remained pleasant.. I am happy to rent with Public Storage. I have rented with Public Storage in other states. And Never had a confusion, I would highly recommend this facility. Thanks again ZOEY, and I will follow the times to enter and exit, this day forth.. I miss the 24 hour access to a storage is the only Con.. yet, safety first. So it’s understandable.
On Saturday, June 10th my girlfriends mother and I stopped by Public Storage to grab a few things. The property manager Geri was extremely courteous and nice to both of us from beginning to end. My storage bill is delayed this month due to circumstances which I explained to Geri ahead of time. I completely understood that she had to escort us to our storage and back. But not only did she do that, she even offered to assist us with a few of our bags to our car.
I apologize for the review being a day late. But it is well worth it to elaborate on the five star performance from Geri!! Thanks!!

It's unfortunate that there are no MINUS STARS, as I would rate my pathetic experience about a —9! The following is what happened to me at Henderson Public Storage on Green Valley. READ THIS BEFORE YOUR RENT BECAUSE THIS COMPANY DOES NOT VALUE ITS CUSTOMERS:
I applied online and everything seemed to go smoothly. I arrive at 4:50 PM, there was a sign on the door that said, "Back at 5:15." The closing hours posted was 6-PM. No problem, I was emailed a gate code and locker and drove 35 miles to use this facility (near my rented house). But, the code did not work. I noticed another email with another code, so I tried that. No entry.
Now, I'm standing at the front gate with an SUV brim full of storagable household goods but no entry. Finally, a customer exits and I gain entry. I had to get the SUV back to a friend, so I was somewhat pressured. I wrongly assumed I could quickly unpack and could use the gate code for the elevator. Wrong again.
I attempt to leave, but now, the gate won't open! I call the 800 number and it's a Bot asking me the same question over and over. So, that was useless. Now, I'm inside the lot but cannot open the gate to leave and cannot get to my already paid for, locker. It's 5:45-PM and no employee has returned, or called me back from the messages I'd left from several numbers. Flakey.
So I am literally stuck in an empty lot of storage bins unable to leave. Of course, I could climb out, but then I would have to throw my car over the fence...right?
After an hour, I had decided to call the police in order to get out, but my good fate was to discover one guy leaving who had been rearranging his locker at the far end of the building. He said, he would try to let me out. It worked and it was a sweet liberation.
Meanwhile, NO ONE has called me back, they have my money and I had to rent another locker. It's Friday, so I wait until Tuesday-, because Monday was a holiday.
On Tuesday, my bank, after hearing my complaint, immediately refunds the payment by crediting me the full amount and I file a claim.
NO EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE HAS CALLED ME BACK SINCE, despite my messages and that afternoon, I get an email that says, "Welcome to Public Storage." Messed up.
Now, a week later, I have STILL not heard from anyone.
Seriously? How about an explanation? How about (God forbid) an apology?
This was highly unprofessional, deceptive and astonishing to me that a business can be so blatantly irresponsible--at least at this location. Grateful that I was able to get every penny back and have nothing to do with a business branch that obviously takes its financial enrichment for granted. Corporate, take notice.
Last note: the customer who walked me out was deaf. As he opened the gate, he signaled me to wait and wrote a quick note.
The note read: "Do not rent at this place! Get your money back. I've had nothing but trouble with this company."
Lesson learned.
I will never deal with PS--anywhere.
The last review i did was about a year ago. I been renting from this location for about two years. The monthly rent amount has increased sufficiently three times now. I’m paying damn near a car note for rental space. The prices isn’t worth it considering; the have an app to access the entrance and exit gate that hardly works. The same app to enter the door for downstairs storage or the elevator which doesn’t work half the time.
This is the one of three locations that do not open until 9:30, others open at 6 am. They also close at 5. Most people don’t get off until 4 or 5, even than the traffic is crazy in Vegas now. The public storage on Charleston and nellis has alarms and 10 ok access to there storage units and not even close to the price of the one at this location.
The females staff members her are selective in their friendly customer service. The male that works here was friendly and answered any questions I had or needed assist with.

Both elevators do not go to the 3rd floor. No way to take the stairs. No one on site. Called the customer service number and was told a request would be submitted (24 hours to respons). This is an inefficient way to run this business. Can't get my things.
I got a unit and it was a great price very clean and the person who was in the office was friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend a friend to that storage unit 👍
I think it is extremely unprofessional to request your customers complete a review for you in person while trying to handle all the paperwork, and get everything setup, my review is true with what it says. Just feel thus is a weak, and tacky way to go about Google ratings.

So glad we found this storage. Super clean. Keri is so awesome from the first day we rented, She’s always very informative and she is so kind.
This is the absolute worst storage facility I've ever used. Their stated business hours mean absolutely nothing. It's a complete hit or miss whether anyone is in the office during the stated "open" hours. They give attitude if you dare to have a question or access issue and don't seem to care one bit about their customers. They also jack up your rent over 30% after a few months with no explanation.
Go ANYWHERE else for your storage needs.
I have been having some issues with a storage unit out of state so came to my local PS. KERI was there and was so accommodating. She helped me upload all my docs to their system so i can complete an out of state closeout. I can’t say enough about the great customer service i received.
Kerri is wonderful. She was informative, friendly, and helpful. She made the rental experience super easy and I'm glad I'm to be renting at her location.

I've had a unit here for a while and the only problem I had was nobody would ever answer the phone no matter when I called. Now I'm being charged a late fee because auto pay decided to turn off. I tried paying manually multiple times and was told something went wrong. The money was taken out of my account and put right back in every time. I contacted Public Storage and they said it's my fault. I told them I would just use a different cars but I didn't want to pay the 8 day late fee. They said unfortunately we can't waive your fee at this time. I asked when can you and I guess they can't disclose that information. I've never had a problem with this place but this is just stealing.
In the 2 years I’ve been here they’ve continuously jacked up the prices. I use to pay $80/month and without notice my most recent bill went up $25. So now I pay over $150! This place will rob you!
The units are always getting broken into, the back fences have holes cut in them, this place is a joke. I highly do not recommend them! Go some place else!

Waited an hour outside and no one picked up the phone or came to the office. This was a weekday afternoon so there's no excuse. The return to help was also placed to 930 which doesn't make sense. The movers and I waited for over an hour in 100+ degree heat and decided to just leave because it seemed pointless to keep waiting.
Called over the day when I left and the morning after. Still no one picking up.

So this public storage closes its office at five and close this gate at six which is honestly quite ridiculous because people work usually from 8 to 5 giving an hour to get here now that’s not even the issue the issue is once you made it in the gate before six you have the woman who works here walking around telling you you have to be off the property by 6 PM because the gates closed which is it true the Bluetooth stopped working and you still have access to leave the gate using your code so the harassment I received today is a little unwarranted and unfair I had to beat traffic to get here to go to my storage unit for my apartment is not ready so I’m living out of a hotel and the storage unit so I’m here getting my stuff together and she’s walking around telling me that I have to be off the property by six that’s not true I don’t have access to the gate after 6. All of the public storage unit that I have rented have always had gate access till 9 PM. Giving customers plenty of opportunity to get off work get through traffic to get to the storage unit possibly grab need and get out. As soon as my next check hits I will be getting a different public storage unit apparently further away from my apartment because she is telling me I want have access after so when I start moving I’m going to need access to an after 6 PM so I’ll be anticipating and counting the days until I can switch public storage unit where this lady doesn’t work. Sincerely a man just trying to make it
Keri is the best. I had an issue and she fixed it within minutes for me, and gave me a call to let me know it was resolved. I highly recommend talking to her if you have any issues.

The property is very well kept it has been updated with good security. The floors are painted. And so are the walls. Everything looks nice it is well air conditioned. And Keri the manager goes above and beyond with her customer service. 3 years and never a problem. They are definitely worth the 5 stars.

The worst place , I had to move all my stuff to another unit because the door didn't work , then a month later when taking my stuff out NONE of the elevators worked and I was on the third floor it was a nightmare moving my stuff only using the STAIRS....😡 BAD PLACE BAD SERVICE..

This place is garbage. Paying $100s a month and it's always dirty. Both gates are broken, entrance gate is blocked off by a vehicle during hours in which the business is closed. The loop is 1 way with an exit gate on the opposite end. The exit gate is broken, and there is no sign advising so. I had to back up my truck and try to turn around in a narrow alley which was half blocked with a huge temporary dumpster. There is no staff on site during business hours. Just a singular contracted person who is unable to answer any questions or help with anything. We will be moving hour storage to a better facility/ business.
