I had storage here for roughly 7 years, and it was an amazing facility and well worth every penny for the peace of mind that my items were safe and secure. Victoria was a pleasure to work with when I finally, regretfully had to empty my locker, but if I am ever back in the Hoboken area public storage on 8th will definitely be my choice for my storage needs.

Sure this company is a great storage option, if you like using them for less than 3 months and then being hit with a 50% rate increase out of nowhere. Absolutely useless customer service as well. No explanation for the rate hike except “well in your contract it states we can change your rate with a month’s notice.” I could understand 5 or even 10% but they literally increased our rate from $86 a month to $123 a month, so with taxes and insurance our monthly payment went from about $100 to $147. Then they had the nerve to offer me a smaller unit if I could no longer afford the new price. We will be canceling our membership and moving into a more stable unit and making sure all of our neighbors know to avoid this scam artist company.
Stored here for many years before moving out of Hoboken (only reason I left). Consistent access, helpful staff and always have a cart to make it easy to get items to and from my unit.

This place is horrible. Don't trust the bot accounts leaving 5 star reviews. Every single time I come here there are no carts available to use because there's literally only 3 available at a time for the entire building. The elevator always acts up, and there's never any employees here to help. I've literally been waiting 30 minutes for a cart as I write this review. They also increase your rent out of nowhere without notifying you.

Very convenient location BUT don't expect your intro rent to stay low very long. My initial rate was $213 for a 10x17 unit in 2019. Next month it's getting increased to $578.97. It's going up approximately $116 from Oct to Nov. The cost per square foot will be almost the same as what I pay for my apartment rent.

I rented a large storage unit for a short period of time (30 days). Saturday I went to close out my unit and Victoria assisted my son and I with that task. She was so professional, bubbly, and helpful. A plus was that Victoria’s energy was infectious. I recommend Public Storage for anyone needing some space to rent, to use their storage units. Very pleased with the locker but both elevators have been out since we arrived, making the move in very difficult. Our moving van and 2 hired laborers were all on time on move-in day but we there was no way we could carry heavy things to the 3rd floor. There were only 2 hand carts and several other customers were moving in or out that day: not ideal. The saving grace of the day was the site manager, Victoria, who did her best to keep us and all the other customers updated on possible repairs and calm. I do hope she is paid well for all the grief she's had to put up with and that you will invest in better elevator maintenance and a few more hand trucks. Thank you.

Had a great experience at Public Storage. Moving boxes was smooth and easy, elevator was spacious, and everything was clean. The man working the office even offered to get rid of some of our many boxes!
Jordan has helped me out on multiple occasions now with a unique situation the nonprofit I volunteer with has been experiencing that impacted our use of our storage facility. He went above and beyond, and our whole organization is so grateful to him!

This public storage might be the best storage company I’ve ever used. I dj for a living so I sometimes store big and very expensive equipment. The gentleman who just always happens to be there when I went was an employee called Jordan. He was very professional and made sure I understood all polices to the T! Always made sure every month to remind me of payment (my lifestyle makes me forget some things due to the lack of sleep) I would super recommend this storage place !

I've been using Public Storage in Hoboken for he past 7 years and it's a great setup which is very 'user friendly'. I had to move to a larger unit b/c we are closing our company office so I have much more that needs to be put in storage. I was dreading this, thinking it would be a long and expensive process, but I was wrong.
Victoria helped me switch to a bigger unit and it was so quick and efficient and she was beyond friendly and helpful! PS gets 5 stars and Victoria gets 6!
Great service, Victoria was super helpful and made the process of transferring storage units really smooth. The facility itself is also great: it's very convenient and safe, and the app allows you to unlock the elevator without having to input the passcode.
Jordan and team we’re incredibly helpful
Move in was very smooth and efficient. All the passes were via bluetooth on the app and the space was easy enough to find. Elevator was spacious enough and easy to use. Space was clean and the lock ready to go. Only small issue was the fact that they charge by month after the first 30 days so if you plan to move out even a few days after the 1st, you pay for the whole month. Still reasonably cheap.
