I have had thee most wonderful experience here at public storage on Monroe Rd. I don't know about you but, most times when you have to get a storage unit, you are not in the most happiest place in your life but it's necessary at that moment in your life. Transitions are not always the easiest. I'm grateful that God allowed Amber who was just finishing her training and Jenny who was assisting. They were very pleasant, patient, and funny. I love their sense of humor in my not so happy time in my life. The process went smoothly & quickly. I got a newly cleaned unit. I love their honesty and transparency. I truly, highly recommend.

Ally was wonderful, cared about her new customer and full of knowledge setting up my new rental account. Also, their rental rates are fair compared to other storage facilities in the area.

Let me tell you about FLO, she is AWESOME!!!! I was having trouble with my APP and Flo proceeded to quickly get my code for me and her customer service was OUTSTANDING!! I explained to her my issues and she was on it right away with a solution. She is an INCREDIBLE Employee, very caring and understanding and extremely efficient. This is why I use the Public Storage company, because they have caring and understanding people working there like FLO!!!

I’m all about honesty but to make me remove my original post and to say you are going to compensate my account if I remove it. You gave me your word but did not fall through or get back with me regarding anything on my account. District manager told me he would make it right because it caused me loss wages but never did what he was supposed to do. So on that note. Do not come here. If you want people to block your access when trying to get your personal belongings and you pay every month. Go somewhere else. Countless times when people would block my trailer after moving and I bring awareness to them. They completely ignore it or put something on someone window regarding to remove their car in 24 hours. What about works compensation that make a living and people blocking their access to their things.

Alley gave us absolutely tremendous service! Ensured our locker was completely clean and ready for us! She made the entire process easy, comfortable and quick! Last thing I would have expected for the cheapest storage in Charlotte.

I would rate this place very highly unprofessional place and people and there customer service. There are some very nasty people that work for this company. My friend had her belongings in this storage area for a very long time. Never missed a payment. She has been trying to pay her bill for two days now. the website dont work the number that was provided by a supervisor, who had a very nasty don't care attitude. When all of this was provided to the supervisor you could tell, the supervisor was listening to her not to understand. I understand why, it was because the supervisor have a problem with comprehending. The brain was dead to knowing how to render customer service. Its people like this in customer service that seems like since there is no happiness in their lives, they cant render happiness in doing the job in the customer service field. Its people like this that I understand the only reason that they are in the customer service feel is to just get a paycheck. Well I must say one day that check is going to run out for you, so be ware.

Expensive for a closet

Its a very old facility shabby but its was cheap - when I moved in. One main entrance and no auto exit. Have to punch in your code to get out. Try access on weekend, not good. Raised my rate $45 - 50 in Feb. Sure, expected. In Aug. raised again $15 to $65. Staff in front office told me that was above going rate for my unit. So I got going and left. Found same size in brand new facility, climate control for $16 more. At least its worth it.

I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone for weeks…

The place is so dirty. My unit looked like someone worked on cars in there. I had to extensively clean the unit before I could move my items in there. There were spiders everywhere so I had to bomb the unit before I could feel safe enough to move my things in . There was a lot of broken glass outside the unit that I had to move yourself so my kids don’t hurt themselves out there. There was no light in the unit, both of which I brought to their attention. I still have no light in the unit. When I made my original reservation online it was for a different unit. I got there -about an hour later and they told me that the unit was not available even though it allowed me to booked it online, I think they were just trying to pass of the dirty unit with the messed door with me. At that point I had no choice because I had movers ready to go. I got this unit a month ago and gave today to make a payment and the associate who claims her name is Alicia which i think she lied about. She was very unprofessional and very condescending in how she spoke to me after asking her about the bogus insurance they are mandating people to pay and telling me I can’t get a copy of my contract sent to me. The employees come off as people who do not like what they do.I will be moving my stuff out as soon as possible. Do not rent from this place. They do not take care of their property and customer service is non existent unless they pick and choose who they want to be cordial to.

Worst place to store your stuff! Old and outdated and the MOST UNSECURED! BEWARE! I have my stuff stolen in value of more than $5k mostly tools. The office workers refused to cooperate and investigate what’s happened and looks so shady!

This was my first time choosing and using a storage unit. I spoke with Pam who was very informative and answered all of my questions thoroughly. She was friendly and knowledgeable! I appreciated her willingness to spend time with me to ensure I was prepared for my move! i recommend public storage to anyone who is needing a place for storage!!

I came in to see what they had available because I might be moving and Jordan was extremely helpful with helping me find a size that would work best with all that I’m moving although they didn’t have what I’m looking for I really liked the professionalism of the store
