Rented 3 units for two years with no issues. Units were clean, and I did not have any damages. Only reason for leaving is a relocation to another state. Moved out all my belongings the last day of the month. Was on auto-pay, and Peggy was very helpful in closing my account that last day so I wouldn't get charged for the following month.

I rented my storage unit a few weeks ago. I have had excellent service from entire staff. When I had a little difficulty opening my units door for the first time the staff member actually walked down to my unit to assist. She was very cheerful and happy to help. Then a few days later I came up on the Manager doing her rounds, checking out the grounds. Again a great representative of Public Storage. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Happy I chose Public Storage on Liebel in White Bear Lake

is in regards to the current mgr Kathleen. But first let me tell you that I am a person who doesn't like to much change, especially when things are good they eat it is! So to say I wasn't overjoyed when I heard the storage was about to change hands. But I can now say that I felt fairly unscathed in the transition! Be since the previous 2 managers were so amazing, I figured the odds of the new manager being amazing were probably slim to none! Boy was I wrong! This storage facility since the day I moved in it has really hit it out the park! It's been a grand slam every time as far as their management goes. With that said, let me tell you about you're current manager Kathleen! From day one I received the phone call from Kathleen the company had changed hands she introduced herself said that she was currently managing this facility as well as one or two others. And I don't remember the exact date but I know it was after the 5th and before the 15th of the month. She said she called cause according her records my rent was due on the first making it but late! I explained to her that I had made arrangements to pay on the 15th of the month previously with prior managment and company. Since had not received anything in the mail or had any phone calls until she called, I wasn't aware that the company had already changed hands or the date I was paying rent on had changed either.. I explained I lived on a tight budget and so she works with me and I got her the rent as soon as possible and and she agreed to wave the late charges and blew the fact that I was not aware of them

Kathleen has been the only one that has promptly returned my phone inquiries regarding the linking of 2 accounts. It is my understanding that the Senior level management, are the only ones able to complete this task. But according to the We Care support people, it has been done ; but in my attempt to ck to see if this is completed, there are no notes or remarks regarding this problem. I find that it is not been done.

Great facility. I never have to worry about security. Kathleen is so helpful and does a super job of keeping the place clean.
This property hired a "snow removal" company that pushed all the snow against the unit doors and left it there all winter. I estimate the snow was 3ft high against the door. This caused ice to travel inside my unit and damaged some of my personal belongings. I will be filing an insurance claim and have scheduled a move-out. If you have belongings stored at the WBL Pubic Storage location I would suggest you better check for water damage. If all this wasn't enough, in March 2022, Public storage jacked up my monthly rent from $107 to $147. An increase of over 37%!
They plow snow up against the doors of the storage units. Some units had 2-3 feet of snow smashed against the doors. I had to spend 30 minutes with an ice chisel and shovel to access my unit in the beginning of March. Then in April they jacked the rental price from $150 to $200. Public Storage is a joke. They have ruined this place since they bought out white bear storage.
I originally left a 5 star review but had to amend it. Every month since Public Storage took over from White Bear MiniStorage, I have had an issue with billing. Some months it has said that my autopay wasn't set up despite having set it up. Other months my payment has been declined and their reasoning is insufficient funds which is just flat out incorrect. Cathleen and Nancy have both been very helpful but unfortunately with the way that public storage operates, they aren't given enough power to rectify any issues; they can only escalate them to the management. I have been asked to call an 800 number to talk with Public Storage's "We Care" team however they referred me back to Cathleen and Nancy. Public Storage as a whole is a poorly run company and I plan to take my business elsewhere in the future.
