Some of their employees are ruthless thieves They called me say I’m late on my payment (2 days late)cut my brand new $50 lock off put theirs on told me I couldn’t store my recently deceased dads antique rifle collection and 300+knife collection about 20K worth of old valuable rifles and 5k worth of 120year old revolvers All MISSiNG PUblic storage claims to know nothing about the theft while they locked me out of my space they told me their cameras aren’t on so we can’t look at the theft footage they said I broke the rules by storing (weapons) if they knew about the guns they know who has them right??!?nope they plead the 5th and I’m screwed out of all my inherited items because “I broke their policy rules so I lose the items?!?is this fair folks?!? I guess I lose we were trying to relocate the collection because our new roommates were scared of them and I was worried they would get stolen so I chose public storage thinking they would be safe with them but boy was I wrong. Someone there auctioned them off and made lots of money..I needed to auction them off to pay for dad’s funeral and gravestone but as of now he doesn’t get one right now. How could somebody be such rotten greedy money hungry creeps at my expense I am so sad about all of this. Thanks for reading and don’t forget public storage isn’t a safe place for your valuables I got proof it was an inside job and someone’s ending up in court sorry but I have no choice stay safe people!! ~E!
My cost increased from $309 per month to $376 per month for a 10 x 15. The same size storage at Extra Space Storage is $165 per month. I tried to call Public Storage to see if they would match the cost so that I could stay there and was completely unable to reach a live person. I tried through the website chat and it said nobody is available.

Excellent support from staff. It's a little older than other storage facilities I've used. Still it keeps items high and dry. Pricing was very reasonable, but they very depending on demand.

UPDATE: Have received a phone call apologizing, and explaining the situation with the locks, etc. It's nice to get an explanation and update. They're working on it. Happy to update the review further if / once the work is resolved over the next two weeks.
I was charged $20 for a lock I didn't need in the middle of the online reservation process, and automatically signed up for an insurance policy through this company. Within two days, the storage-supplied lock was drilled out (with no notice), and replaced with a third-party padlock. When I finally got ahold of an employee there, Taylor told me it's because there's a well-known problem with the air pipes and the sprinkler system doesn't work; the Fire Dept knows about it and they're having someone come do the work "first-thing tomorrow".
It's been over a week. No notice that the work has been carried out, went to my unit and the pipe is exactly the same, nobody will ever answer the phone or check voicemails. There's no accountability at this location. They charge you for a lock, drill it out, tell you they're about to move your stuff around in the next few days but don't seem to do the work or let you know. So, the constant threat of your stuff being messed with, a fire hazard, and drilling out your locks and threatening an additional fee for not returning the replacement padlock. Absurd. What if people go out of town?

The place is convenient, however what they don't tell you when you rent a space for a certain price...it can increase at any time. I have been there less than a year and it has gone up twice. I started at $90 and it is now $151...I feel as though this is a very deceitful way of doing business...
I want to update this review...this review is not based on the person that helped me set up my account....he was absolutely fantastic...my review is based on their ability that the company takes to raise the rates, because they can...it never occurred to me that my rates would increase within the first year.

Worst storage facility ever! I paid for climate control which was freezing temp in winter. Rarely is there ever a person on site. I was never able to get anyone to answer phone. The interior is filthy and smells. Once there was garbage left in elevator for almost two weeks before it was cleaned up. They cut the lock off my locker because they said pipe leaking and they never told me and then couldn't tell me why when I found it. They provide only one small cart for the entire building. And for all that, they raised my rate twice. There are so many good facilities, AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS!
They run a shady operation, take your stuff, lose payments. Don't use. Don't pay in a timely manner. Take a day to say it all.
We were very happy to meet with TAYLOR to obtain a locker.We found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. He is also Very likeable. We wish all people would be as kind.
It is impossible to get help here if you have a problem. I paid for a unit that I was never able to get into as they gave me the wrong codes twice. Even though I never got into the unit I was charged 227 for the month which they will not refund. There’s never a person on site, no one to call and the only “help” is via an automated text tree. Avoid at all costs!
