Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 5350 Industrial Blvd, Fridley, MN

My positive experiences are too many to list. What comes to mind immediately is a Biblical term “ Long Suffering “. Kylee & Michelle @ the Fridley, Minnesota location, undoubtedly, “ Put themselves in the Customer’s Shoes “. If I didn’t have to do some more driving tonight, I could type a book, with 1 chapter I’m positive. They are truly Professionals. I have to get some rest. Peace To All.

We love having our stuff there and the hours it's open except for one thing that if you are in there with your vehicle and it's a few minutes after the time it's to be closed the garage door will not open with your code so you are locked in. An

Easy process and friendly staff

This storage place stole my thing an now they trying make pay for after i missed 4 payments an now they saying my things in put in trash when I have pictures of my storage unit with all my items that was over 3000 Thousand dollars this place is a scam. They are taking people things. I was incarcerated for five months. My mother tried to go up there and close it down. They will not let her but now they send $320 to collection when I know for a fact, all my items in the storage unit was over $3000. Thousand dollars.

Michelle is very helpful she made sure I understood everything and had a answer to any questions I had she's a amazing employee she went above and beyond helping me she is awesome!!! Would definitely recommend everyone to go there!!

BEWARE OF RENTING STORAGE FROM HERE - in one (1) year my storage unit rent went up 63% from $138 to $226 for a 10'x20" storage unit ... I moved out today. IF I would have read this review before renting I would have never rented from Public Storage company. - SEPT 1, 2023 I rented a 10'x20" storage unit for $138 per month and the unit was great. - JAN 1, 2024 they notified me rent was moving up to $180 per month ... I contacted them and they said "Ok we will extend your rent at $138 for three more months acting like they are doing me a favor? really?" - APRIL 1, 2024 my bill was $180 per month. - AUG 28, 2024 they notify me rent is going up to $226 per month starting on OCT 1, 2024. WOW 63% price hike in one year. - SEPT 28, 2024 I MOVED OUT to a privately held locally owned and operated storage faciltiy for $128 for 10' x 20" and the company said they have only raised rent two (2) times in 15 years. * Bravo to the staff at the Fridley Public Storage Kaylee and Michelle for providing great service & clean facilities deserving Five Stars for the staff. * Public Storage is a publically traded company who's motto is like most publically traded companies that are ruthless, no heart and no soul they are there to "charge customers until it hurts". * For management executives regionally and nationally remember in business " PIGS GET FAT AND HOGS GET SLAUGHTERED ... shame on you for being hogs." Public Storage is now buying more storage facilities in Minneapolis and across the USA ... BEWARE OF RENTING FROM THE DARTH VADER OF STORAGE UNIT FACILITIES. Bummer I had to spend a day of my life moving my storage from a great storage facility to not be abused by another publically traded company called Public Storage.

Kylee The manager is very professional at what she does . She's truly passionate at managing the facility I highly recommend her. and anyone that wants to rent here the place is very convenient and the prices are very reasonable.

Pleasant, courteous staff. Easy process. Superior indoor storage at a reasonable price. You should reserve online for the best deals.

I rented a 5x10 unit and was hounded to pay online before my move in date. Upon getting there I measure and notice it is only 4.5 feet wide. They said that is because 5x10 is an "approximate size" yet all other 5x10s are the exact same size, so that seems to me like they are exact and not approximate. I'd call this false advertising... they also wouldn't fully refund me even though I ended up cancelling my rental immediately.

I will never do business with public storage again. I moved put of my unit yesterday and they charged for an entire month this morning, after telling me yesterday that they would pro rate me for the 29 days I was not going to be using the parking space that I had rented. Now, i am not allowed to use the space because i have moved put, theu topk my gate code and everything. So i have paid a full month and cannot use the space. Dishonest, dodgey people work here, and that's if you can find them. I cannot believe the business practices that people get away with. The lady I spoke to on the phone this morning in the call center was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and all but told me to kick rocks. Find literally anywhere else.

Changing my rating because they don't prorate when you cancel. Don't you know it's hard times out here give the little man a break. Anyway storage worked for what it was.

Bought a locker thru auction with my friend on July 16. On the be same day I paid to go from my house to the facility 1.5 hours away to clean out the unit the last rolled me she was going to be leaving right away to go to another location. I had to buy a lock from them because I forgot mine thinking I was going to have way to much stuff for only 1 load. Upon opening the locker and very quickly realized it had been already rummaged through and nothing but trash had been left I right away turned and went to the office however nobody was there because the lady had already left. So I called and I left a voicemail and I called the auction site I had bought it from and the next day I still had not gotten a return phone call so I called again to receive a voicemail again so I left another voicemail. I also had to call the district manager just to try to get some sort of answer as to when I would receive my refund. Also left another voicemail there finally I received a call back on the 19th stating that if I wanted to drive another hour and a half back to the storage facility site I could get the money back that I paid for the locker however I was not going to be able to get my money back for the lock that I had gotten nor was there any sort of offer for any kind of compensation for the money I had to spend to get out here in the first place. Once I had arrived to receive my refund the door was locked and there was a young lady in the office who after a few minutes came out and said that I would have to wait for 10 minutes because she was on dinner break and she was eating and had to finish eating. So I sat and waited in my car for 10 minutes. So other than the time that I wasted to come out to the storage facility to pick up something that I had already purchased I am out over $100 because the storage facility is not honest about the things that they are selling. Nor are they willing to compensate if it was a mistake on their behalf. I I'm definitely going to think twice about doing business with this location in the future.

I cannot thank the property manager, Kylie, enough! She personally followed up with me several times in regards to a unit I rented for a former employer. There was billing issues with my former employer and she was understanding and patient while playing phone tag for several weeks. I am I incredibly grateful for her help! Nice units and prices on par with similar locations.

This is the worst storage facility. The managers have all been very unprofessional. My unit was broken into and the manager told me she had just walked the rows and noticed nothing out of the ordinary. My lock and handle area on my unit was completely mangled. Along with 6 other units in my row. The orange door insurance is just as bad. Trying to get a claim of my stolen property has been a ridiculous process. I travel for work and only come home for a couple days. The last 3 times I have been home the facility has been left unattended for hours. I have waited around and called and still receive no call backs or support. Do not rent here.

Do not by any means use this location, they must have hired someone who lets people come in and do whatever they want , they literally did 5000 in damage to my truck ( they cut all three catalytic converters off, they cut the bed topper and stole everything out of it.) I travel for work and have to park my truck to ride in the company truck. I'd been better off to park at the Walmart. The people in the office said the cameras that were supposed to be recording that area don't record. They did nothing to help us out. They actually called us and said there is a tote sitting behind your truck (this was originally in the bed) and if you don't get down here to pick it up we are going to fine you. I just want to know this happens in a secure storage facility that you can not even get into after 9pm and no one saw anything? Not even the cameras that actually do record? If you have vehicles or anything in there get it out now.

The reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I was a customer for 4+ years and they kept raising the rent yearly.l(what overhead can you possibly have) my stuff locked up in storage and no one is obviously going in there to clean and make it smell pretty IT JUST SITS THERE LOCKED UP. when I moved out (4/22) of there they were charging me around $175 a month for a 10×10 space (size of a large bathroom) You don't screw your long term customers. if anything you should get a break for long term loyalty and raise the price on new customers . I'm not even mad or writing this maliciously it just seems as* backwards to me

Five source storage is one of the best storage units around they have indoor storage they have temperature control so it's a constant temperature year round they have a big big garage area where you can pull in and unload your stuff they have carts two wheelers they have bathrooms they have high tech security so there's cameras every place what more can you ask for and they're very reasonable Dave defoli would love to help you give him a call he's a great guy 1400 Selby avenue Saint Paul
